It's a nod to the original with its two-fingered hands, and yes it does. The exaggerated proportions (po-portions?) emphasize his running/kicking ability, in my mind.

I agree that the torso could've been a couple of studs longer. But I'm really impressed at the ways you used the brown and tan pieces to make it a smooth-flowing MOC. Well done.
