Hey guys

Given my nature, I deal in overly-verbose analogies often. But I'm going to strip that down for a moment and just be earnest. This is an appreciation entry for someone here on BZPower that I think is really cool - and also of whom I'm very proud. He's been known by many names here, including Degeneration-X, DX: Legend of Love, Heat Miser, Aho-Chan, and more, but I'm just going to call him Corey.

I could whip out the comparisons to records and plants and favours from Marilyn, and they'd be accurate, but there's no need. Simply and honestly, Corey is a fun guy and incredibly enjoyable to talk to. He's sharp, and witty, but sensitive and kind. And a totally eligible bachelor, so ladies, take note (I would marry him). I began chatting with him off and on a while back but have gotten to know him much more over this past year or so. Very quickly, he ascended to the status of true friend. That's not something I bestow lightly. The truth of the matter is, I think his fun sense of humour brings a lot of spark not only to BZPower but to life as well. I pick and pester with him as I do with my other friends, and enjoy it when he pesters back. A good friend can pick you up with just a snippet of conversation, and he's done that for me in times where I've been ticked off. I don't know if he realizes what a good dude he is, but it's pretty obvious to me.

I said earlier that Corey is a sensitive fella, and sometimes that manifests itself as a shy meekness - but he needn't be afraid. As I've said both to him and another lovable compatriot, it's never a bother to hear from a friend. And that's a title I'm happy to share with Corey.

So let's hear it for my buddy Corey, because I think he deserves some hugs.
