My little sister recently came into my room. She was freaked out beacuse her friend`s mom said the world would be in ice age within 6 years.

Ice age? What ever happened to global warming?

The mother too never drinks juice, nor does she take medicatio against asthma, beacuse it "hurts er bones".

She was also in jail for some time, so...

I wonder sometimes if I'm just imagining everything and everyone, and I'm really in a cell somewhere tied up in a straitjacket.

I wouldn't ask anyone that, because they'd either tell me something that would reinforce the illusion, or they'd shatter it. In which case I'd be stuck in a cell somewhere, tied up in a straitjacket. That's no fun.

I mean unless they're for real and not my imagination. But how the heck would I know if they were?

if enough cold, fresh water coming from the melting polar ice caps and the melting glaciers of Greenland flows into the northern Atlantic, it will shut down the Gulf Stream, which keeps Europe and northeastern North America warm. The worst-case scenario would be a full-blown return of the last ice age

I'm not worried about that happening, I'm more worried about a car sliding into me when it can't stop because of ice on the road.

I have to cross a road to get to my dorm, and I just know that I'm going to get hit by a car one day. There are so many reckless drivers that don't stop for pedestrians, or don't stop at all despite the fact that there's a stop sign. Heck, just the other day a driver ran the stop as I was taking a few steps into the crosswalk.
