Jayson Werth has signed with the Washington Nationals for a big amount of money and the promise of playing on a team with two fantastic rookies next year, in the form of Steven Strasburg and Bryce Harper, as well as playing with a terrific third baseman in Ryan Zimmerman. In my opinion, a team with those players has a shot at being a slight threat against the Phillies and Braves in the NL East, but it's going to take a little more before they actually become true contenders.
