So I'm starting my first piece of fiction that I'm going to try to get published. 8D Well, I intend to start, whether or not that's gonna happen soon between the boatloads of homework is another story (ha! see what I did there?) entirely. Still, I have a basic premise and am quite excited about it.

I dunno if you guys knew, but the new Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix trailer has been released. Looks amazing. It seems that they cut out very little, which is good -- they cut out almost half of Goblet of Fire. And Helena Bonham Carter is in it as Bellatrix Lestrange! That's SO perfect.
We finally got to eat the manicotti we've spent the last week making in cooking today. The sauce had no taste, but the salad and garlic bread were good (garlic bread=eternal <3).

Well, it's been over a week since I've updated. And that's because, well, there really wasn't much to say.
I failed in the new epics contest, which I am extremely... not happy... about. I had the PERFECT idea, but I just couldn't come up with am idea as to what Sunari would look like. I couldn't figure it out in time.
So, hopefully sometime this week (good chance tomorrow), I'll put up another chapter. I could've before but... I just didn't have the motivation.

This has been the best week ever. For elections on Tuesday and teacher conventions on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, we only went to school last Monday and have been off since (but we go back tomorrow ).

Gonna tie up (kind of) what I started at the end of the last chapter in the beginning, then move on to a REALLY cool scene with the Nuva. I'll give you a hint: think car chase, only with Vahki transports. And with legs instead of wheels... well, I don't want to ruin the surprise.
I managed to write a chapter of my epic yesterday; inspired by certain points in Warrior Within that were scary, yet strangely fun when I look back on them. Obviously, Warrior Within is my favorite of the trilogy.

Today we, including the whole rest of the family, went up to a different church as opposed to our usual one for Emily's baptism. I finally got to see X-Men: The Last Stand today. It was much better than I had originally thought. Very much darker and almost scarier than the first two (especially when you find out what one particular character can do to people). A bit disappointed in two things: Nightcrawler wasn't even mentioned, so I haven't a clue as to what happened to him, and they had a huge build-up for Arch Angel, and he was only in like three scenes, and didn't have that much of an impact on anything.

No update last night, as I watched Advent Children again. What can I say? It's a cool movie (and Sephiroth is freaking awesome).
But with school out, I'll have a LOT more time to work on ze epic. Still, it won't be as productive as last year, as I have plenty of goals I want to accomplish (two, specifically: get a girlfriend and pick up on Prince of Perisa: The Two Thrones again).

So I was playing Prince of Persia: Warrior Within today, and I realized something my strategy guide fails to mention: the Light Sword, the most powerful secondary weapon in the game, actually hurts your health when you hit an enemy. You get it as the Sand Wraith, in which your health constantly goes down anyway, so I didn'y really notice it until I started using it in combos with my Water Sword against the Dahaka.
