I spent a lot of time considering what to put in this entry. Here's a quote from Motago that sums it up beautifully:
That is Christmas. We've misunderstood the holiday if we keep the baby in the manger in our minds. It's about the death of a Man.
Merry Christmas, everyone. May you remember the amazing intervention in human history that took place 2,000 years ago for wh
And by island-themed I mean Christmas. B)What is your favorite gift that you're giving to someone? What's your favorite part of Christmas? What gift do you hope to receive?Who, what, when, where, why?If so, how?

YAY COMIC SCANS
Couple thoughts--
0. It would've been cool if the scene with Mata Nui removing the Ignika had been more played up, sorta mirroring the scene where the body was formed. Him embracing his destiny, etc. Ah well. Overall, it was a very fun comic to read.
1. What part of 7,500+ miles tall do the artists not get? These are not giant robots standing on a landscape. They are the landscape. They are heavenly bodies of their own. Cosmic entities in the phsycial sense.
Exhumed by Verse is this local duo that does acoustic bass, tracks, hand percussion, and poetry over top. They played at the music store where I worked a week ago.
The first two seconds into their gig and I wanted to pour molten lead into my ears and pack the wounds with salt.
The following are the actual words to one of their "songs." Picture this in the shaky, adolescent-sounding, lisped voice of the acoustic bass player as he plays around in a minor key on a single string while hitting
Well, I'm done school for the semester. So I can actually update my blog today! Yeah.
I read that prototype treatment for the 2010 movie. Looking overall at where the storyline would have gone, I'm glad it isn't. The treatment does beat TLR in my opinion, though, simply because it has way more plot. But the whole thing reads like one scene, which is somewhat pathetic, IMO. But the worst part about the news of Bionicle ending is the prospect of the story continuing.
End it. End it now.

(That means Tuesday Five in blorgarvanese.)
What movie do you really want to see right now? How's your Christmas shopping going? Is The Office awesome? Yes or yes. 24 SEASON 8 NEXT MONTH BABY Price check on a schmargle biscuit.
*resists the urge to edit the album cover for Asia's Then & Now compilation to fit this entry*
BIONICLE then: "Where wisdom and valor fail, all that remains is faith. And it can overcome all."
— Toa Mata Tahu, Mata Nui Online Game
BIONICLE now: "What do you have in mind, and does it include explosions?"
— Tahu to Onua, Reign of Shadows
I think y'all catch my drift.
In other news, I am SO PUMPED about the new website I'm doing for work. It looks awesome. 8D
EVERYBODY HAVE CREED LURK IN THE BACKGROUND OF YOUR BANNER
And yeah, it feels good to have all that clutter out of my sig.
EDIT: Republished 12/4/09 so people realize that unless they post their Creed banner here, it ain't goin' in the content block.
So I took up the task of redesigning the website I made for work. The new version owns, but the boss ain't feelin' it yet. I keep showing it to my parents to see what they think, and they both agree with me that there's no comparison. So that's meh.
A.: They've both come to refer to species.
Tuesday five! Who do you think you are? What gives you the right? If you could change one thing about this company, what would it be? Do you get the joke of this five? ???
This week's theme is images. How appropriate.
P.S.: Photobucket, I have found love in the arms of another. I am now Mrs. Dokuma McSpork ImageShack.
(or something)
If you'll recall, it was similar circumstances that about a year ago caused the Generic Quest authors to fictionalize Maj as a corrupt defense contractor led by an evil disembodied Martian.
Yes. Yes it does.
So Thanksgiving was good. My freak uncle came over and he was... well, himself. But overall, it was good.
And I'm suddenly devoted to learning Intersection Blues No. 2 by Steve Howe, whose summer home, incidentally, is in the middle of nowhere around a half hour from where I live. =O
And now... I need to get registered for next semester. I just talked to a friend who's just starting Linberty dual enrollment... financial deadline is tomorrow. D'oh!
