So I just did a major test on my phone beginning yesterday. Since Sat. morning, approx. 10:00-11:00 AM, it had been off the charger. It lasted 30 hours off the charger with very minimal usage over the weekend. I made about 9 phone calls on it, averaging about 5 minutes each call. I also ran the Skype app for about 20 minutes. In other words? I love this phone. It lasted long enough in my opinion that it'll be a great addition to my arsenal of devices. To my buddies at BrickCon and Bricks C
So we've wrapped up the final components to the Death Star. It can now be happily assembled by one man in about 30-40 minutes. We'll put that to the test on monday when we finalize its assembly in a larger area. Once it's done, we can pack it away and progress forward on more projects. Basically speaking, it's time to move on. No more dark side, we have to get going. And I'm actually looking forward to moving on. Oh also, my phone. I love it. That is all.

Alright, I'm really excited. In one more week, I will FINALLY have my own WP7. I've been waiting for it SINCE 2010. I'm pumped. Trivia: I once considered an Android device. I thought it was the perfect answer to Apple's dominance. And to a degree, it still is... if it wasn't so fragmented. So yeah, WP7. Yay me. Anything else I forgot? So yeah, paid my $52. Still debating how I'll get the island down there, but it's only five boxes so far. I could easily wrap all of them with packing saran wrap, take it on a train, but it'd be faster to just have it driven down. This image currently represents a specific system I came up with. For one, gives me an excuse to show off my Lantern Corps symbols. Second, it is tracking the rings I have purchased via many sources. Basically speaking, DC Comics' Collectibles division (formerly known as DC Direct) released nine rings and lantern "power batteries" as collectibles in 2011. Emerald City ComicCon was epic. Our booth was in the very opening of the registration room, so we got plenty of visitors. We also had a few guests visit the booth and check our stuff out. Wil Wheaton signed a model depicting himself signing the model. Very meta. The voices for Pinky And The Brain signed a mosaic of the characters, which was pretty epic. John DiMaggio visited the booth, but was bummed to find nothing there for him to sign (he voices Bender in Futurama.) As for me? I MET BATMAN.
And I won. Though I am not photographed (for obvious reasons, I'm not the owner ) I did 90% of the work on this ferris wheel. And yes, it's fully motorized. It has 2 XL Motors on it. There is a video on my account on that one video site, just look under swertmastra. I might throw it up on Vimeo so I can embed it here later, haven't decided yet.
So turns out the boss needs a few tables for an event coming up in the building we're at. Guess where 3 of his five tables are currently tied up at. So tomorrow we'll probably mark where each island section goes on the back in a grid, then take the pieces and relocate them to an area in that room away from the tables we need, then move those out of the room. With any luck, not a single piece will be disturbed. And at least he isn't touching it until I get there. So we know it won't break.
