Saw it. It was pretty good. I'll spoiler my thoughts in case anybody wants to still see it.

It was pretty good. The first half of the movie was a bit slow, probably due to character development. It was nice seeing more of Manning, even though he's not the best guy around. Jeffery Tambor is a great actor though. Very funny. It was also great to see some development with Abe, he was so minor in the first movie, to see him really open up in this one was good. Though the fact that they abandon his breathing apparatus after the first five minutes of the movie irked me a bit.

 

The prince and the princess were good cast members, though Luke Goss doesn't have the best voice for it. Definitely provided a wonderful creepy look though.

 

I'm not a fan of Krauss, though. He didn't provide much in the way of comedic relief, and wasn't a good antagonist either. Just an annoyance. His only real character started to come through at the most inopportunistic moments, and had a change of heart far too quickly. Plus, his suit made no sense.

 

The second half of the movie was great. The fight scene with the prince (the first one) was wonderfully coreographed, and the organic weapon of his was pretty cool. The meeting with the Angel of Death was a great scene, and definitely opened up for a sequel. The Golden Army was much cooler than it appeared in the trailers, too.

 

Overall, it was a good movie, though Krauss definitely dragged it down a lot. Still good, with great performances as well as awesome action scenes.
