  1. I hate to be a killjoy, but Lego hasn't actually said Kopaka yet. Just Tahu.
  2. Well, this is what TTV said: Soft reboot confirmed! They also said that.
  3. About an hour and a half. Also, @Laputan Machine: BZP is live-tweeting the whole event. As in, there are updates right now. Why do you think I said Lightning strike image earlier?
  4. I now get the source of the discrepancy. NYCC opened already, but The Bionicle panel opens at 1:00.
  5. NYCC is open, but access to the Bionicle panel is not, not yet.
  6. Well, NYCC hath begun.... Edit: lightning strike image!
  7. Less than 1 minute, according to BS01. Edit: okay, the countdown on BS01 reached 0, and started going in reverse. so now it starts in 3 minutes.
  8. @Toa Green Ninja: only 27 minutes until it starts.
  9. 11. Edit: I couldn't even fall asleep last night. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I slept.
  10. It's six o'clock in the morning where I am, so not going to try and figure out quoting, but by flag, I meant there's a pole attached to the mask stand, the kind you'd stick a flag or a banner to. I should've said flag post. Then maybe the post wouldn't have been flagged.
  11. Shouldn't we close this topic and forward all further discussion to the Official B2015 topic? In all honesty, I'm surprised we haven't yet.
  12. About ten seconds ago, I started randomly bouncing up and down in my chair. That's how excited I am. I wish I was in NY, unable to make this post because I have no internet or forgot to bring my computer. What time does the panel really open? I'll know what time to set my alarm for tomorrow morning. ~W.S.~
  13. Okay, could we discuss the leaked images now? Lego accidently put them on Facebook evidently (briefly) Seems to me no different than discussion of the Mask of Creation when it came up on the Lego Products page. There's only a day left; why am I bothering to ask this?
  14. Rapid-analysis by Willess: There's some kind of flag, there's a stone bridge with a platform with two canisters reminiscient of the Manas canisters from... some game. The stone is stacked, as if making a Po-Metru sculpture, there's a briefcase leaning against it, and storm clouds in the sky, with what looks like a cloudy Scarabax head behind the mask, dcould be clouds, or could be something we can't see cause the mask is in the way.
  15. Yep, that's true. Bionicle was the theme that saved Lego. [/very biased Bionicle fan]
  16. What's the blue energy/liquid all over? That canister almost makes me think it's protodermis or something similar. And what's the podium say? Also, behind the table is a human walking, wearing a cowboy boot and what looks like spurs. I fail to see spiders. And this gives a desert-ish feel, which is weird, if they're supposed to be in the mountains. I'm guessing the podium says whatever the whipers said. It's a Bionicle language, and it translates to.......
  17. Jayriki, master of lighting. Also of note: 'Mata' evidently means 'kills' in Spanish. I mean, as long as we're discussing what names mean... And how do you think Okoto is prounouced? My money's on 'uh-koe-toe'.
  18. I discovered an interesting color combination while hanging up shirts, of all things: I hung a purple shirt on a Dark tan (or, as Lyichir called it, sand yellow) hanger. I liked the color combo enough that I made a MOC using those colors. And I mean my own creation, not Mask of Creation. I think it be cool to see as a set. Or maybe purple and Mata Brown (earth Orange). And yes, I had a purple shirt. I don't remember why; it was some photography studio shirt.
  19. I think the point people are trying to make is that we do know something about next year, even if we can't talk about it. Hey, can the swirling energy around the mask be considered a Tornado of Creation?
  20. I just glanced at my own post you were replying to, and realized I said resemblance. Why did I say that? Anyway, only if you pronounce it Bionee. If you pronounce it Bioni, with the last 'I' pronounced like in 'kit', which is how it is pronounced in Bionicle, then it sounds about as similar to pony as 'house' does to 'woah'. Just my opinion, though. This is true, too. And there's also what Aanchir just said. Also, while on that point, plenty of Bionicle names already roll off the tongue weird (Morbuzakh), and some might be considered childish-sounding (Kini-Nui, depending on how you pronounce it). As for the name 'BZPers' a few people have brought up: I know everyone on here is a BZP person (unless you're a hacker using someone's account), but it seems like that name is restricting Bionicle to BZP. It seems to imply that, if you aren't on BZP, you're not really a Bionicle fan. I'd prefer a name that is more universal. Lots of people have asked why we need a name. I say it's not necessarily something we need, so much as something to identify as. Look at it this way: if people, as a species, had no name, how would you differentiate yourself from the beasts in the field? (Before anyone thinks so, I am NOT relating other people to beasts)It's also something to feel a sense of pride in. This is especially true considering the Greg quote I currently have in my signature, which I've copied should I change my signature in the near future. If we had a name, people on LMB could reply and say that they are proud to be a (insert name here). I would, if I had a LMB account. Even if the name was a silly one like Kohlii head. Man, I wound up saying a lot more than I planned.
  21. Hey, depending on how far back they planned this, do you think the Bionicle in the Lego Movie was a hint at this?
  22. Hmm... *is keeping running tally* Bionifan, Kohlii head, and bonklers seem to be the most popular. And I think only one person has objected to Bionifan, which I've addressed below. I fail to see to much of a resemblance to Ponyfan, and I also fail to see anything wrong with ponyfan. Not that I'm the epitomy of Bionicle fans, but it doesn't seem that bad.
  23. Relevant part of what? If you're referring to the Greg quote I linked to, he's talking of Bionicle 2015, so I'd call it relevant. Edit: Oops, I linked to the wrong post somehow. Yeah, That's what I was referring to. Lariska was just the first example to pop into my head. Maybe Artahka, or maybe they'll have Lariska important in the new story line (essentially, we know nothing of the new storyline right now except a quest for the Masks and Mask of Creation). I know it's unlikely, but Lariska was probably the most important imageless character in the old Bionicle.
  24. I wouldn't call my last post spam. Sure, it had some pointless stuff, but I also said something I'd like to see. Also, Greg just said something really cool: https://community.lego.com/t5/LEGO-General/Chat-with-Greg-Farshtey/m-p/11268555/highlight/true#M253412 Thought I'd share that. Edit: linking to a specific post isn't working all of a sudden, so
  25. I hope we see some new characters as sets. Not characters that are already sets, like [CENSORED UNRELEASED SET DISCUSSION]. And [CENSORED UNRELEASED SET DISCUSSION] isn't even a character(not by my definition of character). Either old characters never released as set, like Lariska, or completely new characters. Anyway, why did they have to do what they did with [CENSORED UNRELEASED SET DISCUSSION]?
