Surel y I can't be the only one who noticed the obvious Bionicle Time Trap reference in chapter 4... or in this post... Very good. Making a good HF rewrite is hard (and you can take my word for it; I tried several times with no success).

I feel like it's worth noting that, aside from Star Wars, we haven't really seen any other leaked or confirmed sets. All the stuff about Bionicle seems too coincidental to me all of a sudden.....

I don't like calling the GB Velika, since that's the name of the Matoran he's possessing, so I'll call him... Akilev. Certavus--While it's true that he died after the Shattering and as such might have beena spy for Akilev before then, I don't think he is simply based on his character. Raanu--Raanu makes sense. Plus, as the leader of the villages, he'd have access to a lot of information. And he worked for the Great Beings before. And he couldn't follow Mata Nui around, because he had a village to lead. Metus--He's just a traitor character, so it makes perfect sense. Plus, he sat next to Raanu during the Grand Tournament. Knowing him, he probably bought that seat. However, he did not follow Mata Nui around. Berix--Nobody trusted him because they saw him as a thief. As far as I can tell, only Kiina saw him as the traitor to the Skrall. So maybe peopla hid their valuables around him, but they didn't hide facts from him.As someone else pointed out, he sat next to Raanu during the Grand Tournament. Then he follows Mata Nui around. Atakus--I don't think the alien tech proves anything. He just found it. That, plus, as a guard, he wouldn't have access to too much information. Tarduk--I'd say why it can't be him, but too many other people already have. Malum--I don't see much evidence for or against him. However, even though he is now secluded, it might make sense that he was the spy up until he tried to kill Strakk, since that happened fairly recently. Strakk--The only way he would be the spy is if Akilev payed him. Since I don't see Akilev doing that, I don't think Strakk is the spy. Tarix--Despite his sense of honor, he actually makes sense. However, he did not follow Mata Nui around any. That said, with Kiina already doing that, it's possible Tarix stayed near Tajun to protect it. Gresh--Too young and naive. Skirmix--He HAS to be the spy. There's just no other way. JK. Surel--Can he communicate with his Iron Wolves? On the one hand, he knows about the Free Element Lords and the path to the Valley of the Maze, and he makes sense. On the other hand, it might have been hard to contact him before the Shattering, and it's possible Akilev even thought he was dead. So it's a toss-up. Branar--First to encounter the Batterra. His reaction to the Batterra makes me want to say it's not him. Fero--I doubt it, simply because he's a Bone Hunter. Tuma--Like Raanu, being the leader, he had access to a lot of information. However, I don't know. He also recognized Mata Nui's Mask as a mask, so... anyone think of that? I should add a clarification -- Mata Nui's Mask, at the time, possibly looked like a helmet, at least in set form. Does anyone know if the Ignika changed its shape to look like a helmet on Bara Magna? Edit: he's shown taking it off by lifting up in All that Glitters, like he would a helmet, but that could be just artistic license. Kyry--Maybe, but he's a guard, so maybe not. However, he also worked with Raanu and the Great Beings. Then again, he doesn't follow Mata Nui around. Kirbold--He travelled a lot, so he's a definite possibility. Even though he ditched Crotesius and Tarduk, he returned for no apparent reason. C lick--People think he's the spy because he's too smart to be a beetle. Remember, though, real life physics don't apply in Bionicle. A group of Archives Moles could probably recreate Malum, so why not Scarabax beetles? However, his reaction to Mata Nui makes me wonder. Ackar--He makes sense, and he followed Mata Nui around (that said, Mata Nui saved his life from Strakk-attack). Gelu--Who knows? Kiina--She knew where the Great Being's lab was. She could have been pretending to hate the Great Beings, or not know Akilev was a Great Being. Oh, and she does her best to point suspicion at poor Berix. Her reaction to Mata Nui casts doubt on the idea. Also, by the way, if an alien landed on Earth, wouldn't you want to follow it around? By the way, since she wanted to leave Bara Magna with Mata Nui, I doubt she was the spy. Mata Nui--He could be a spy, right? Stronius--Eh, I doubt it. Vastus--He might gladly join Akilev. Also, even though he does not follow Mata Nui around, we saw how dedicated he was to protecting the Jungle Agori. He'd especially feel needed for protection if Gresh was off adventuring with Mata Nui. Plus, maybe Akilev gave him the ancient meditation technique records [mentioned in Mata Nui's guide to Bara Magna]. Crotesius--Why is he not on the list? Also, I don't think so. Perditus--[Out of Story: I think Greg will make him the spy, if forced to choose a spy.] Kirbraz--He's a possibility. Scodonius--He is a braggart. Maybe he thinks a lot of himself, being an informant and all. Sahmad--Nothing in Sahmad's tale implies he was, so I don't think he could be. Telluris--He's too crazy and paranoid. He made Vezon look sane. Would you want him to be your spy? Yeah, me neither. Edit: adding a bit and correcting Scodonius's name (I've always thought it was spelled Scondonius until now) And I like Banana Gunz's idea of calling the GB something besides Velika. I just used Akilev (Velika reversed) because I didn't feel like making up a good name.

I did say kinda implies. It doesn't necessarily mean it won't be, just implies it. And it most likely means that it won't be a direct continuation unless they retcon the cereals. Alternatively, maybe they don't want him to finish the serials until Bionicle returns, so as not to spoil anything? "Somewhere in some government facility, the government just calculated that, somewhere in the course of the last 2000+ years, the time calculations have been off. They rush to complete their calculations by next year, and discover a whole year was added in somewhere. The world governments decide next year will be 2016. The year 2015 is skipped, and there is no 2015 in the history books." Sorry, just had to do it.

Greg just said that Lego doesn't want him to finish the serials, even though he now has time. This kinda implies B2016 won't be a continuation. ~W.12.~ Bionicle 2016 is coming....

A writer understands their own characters best. I often find, when writing Bionicle fanfics, that I do better with characters with no pre-development, like the MNOLG II Matoran, or my own characters, than with, say, Tahu or Kopaakaa. And this is being said by a human who is not good at all at describing personalities. Off-topic: is Cathy Hapka still a writerr? ~W.12.~

I just had a thought regarding leaked/possibly leaked info. Would it possibly be possible to discuss them, but use spoilers or white-on-white text, like I did a few posts ago? You know, like this: Omega Tahu Or would that still be against the rules? And has that ever been brought up before? .

Cat translator here. That cat was trying to say that it would prefer a continuation. A reboot? the cat said 'poooooooo' to that. Also, on the thought of masks. In the real world, if you have, say, a Halloween mask, some go over your head, some only cover the face. A matter of choice, really. I'm surprised most Bionicle masks attach to the face. By the way, it if attaches to the top, you have more room for a face underneath (am I the only one who thought it silly that the Toa's masks went in their mouths? ~W.12.~

If that happens, I will gladly start a topic comparing the old plot with the new one. ~W.12.~

Speaking of Takadox, you know what I would like to see? Takadox as a good guy. Here's the reason: since he betrayed the League of Six Kingdoms, he was technically the good guy. And what did he get for his efforts? Banished to the Pit with those he betrayed. No doubt he tried to bargain with Hydraxon at some point. Then, he got his revenge on the Toa Mahri later, while ensuring the death of all the Visorak. One could even argue they deserved it -- Jaller and Kongu made a deal with Kalmah and Carapar. All they had to do was kill Pridak, who, by the way, was hopelessly insane now without Takadox. So yes, I view Takadox as a good guy. And you can correct my facts if I'm wrong; I don't own Downfall, I just rented it from the library back in '08. ~W.12.~

Yeah! Seriously, NatoGreavesy should get a job with Lego! OK, I'll be serious again. I want to see a civil war or something. Maybe like 04, only all Toa (and maybe Matoran) on Spherus Magna viewed as the bad guys. And I want to see more robots enemies (Bohrok, Rahkshi, Vahki, etc.). ~W.12.~

I just saw a video where this person says they sent a letter to Lego, and Lego replied, and in their reply, they confirmed HF is not going to end next year. Lego's reply letter was not shown in the video, but this person read it off. Though it could be fake, I believe it to be genuine -- the person even mentioned something Lego worded kinda strangely in the letter. So I can say this with certainty: Hero Factory 2015 is coming.... ~W.12.~

Super-hard challenge: try and beat every map with a boss in order without ever dying. Even I can only beat the levels individually -- it takes me a few tries; each time I die, I restart. Also, a thought for the next map: a jungle (Le-Koro, Voya Nui, Bota Magna...) And if Teridax/Makuta becomes the Mangaia boss, what happens to Taka? Speaking of Taka, if you keep him, you might want to make his Mask and weapons tougher. Twice, now, I've seen Takanuva at nearly full health, with no Mask or weapon. Just a thought. ~W.12.~ Edit: I can beat the bosses (except Takanuva) starting as a maskless, weaponless Toa of Jungle. Should've added that to my challenge.

Who says a "blind bag" set actually has to be in a bag? As long as it's small, it could be in any container. It could even be in a box, like the 2006 Matoran were. ~W.12.~

This is post #2015 in this topic. Hence, I shall say "Bionicle 2015 is coming..." And I like the idea of varying masks in blind Matoran packs. Maybe we'll see some of the Matoran from MNOLG II -- Amaya, Kamen, Vira, Talvi, etc.

Odd. I have links to Bionicle.com and Bionicle Story.com in my documents, but nothing weird happened when they redirected me to Lego.com.

Here's my latest thoughts on this issue: A: whoever hacked Greg's account back in 2013 knew of discussions of Bionicle's return. A double-pronged prank, because no one believed them, and it turns out they were right all along B: A triple-pronged prank; the hacker made the faked images of Bionicle in 2015. They've then managed to fool us with the same thing twice, which is awesome. Also, Meiko's post back in 2013 implied he knew said hacker. Does anyone still know said person and can confirm or deny these ideas? Or did anyone ever know him/her? ~W.12.~

Sigh. Why do I bother trying not to think Bionicle is coming back? Bionicle is practically my favorite thing in the world. I should get all hyped up (I am not riding a train) and if, and it seems unlikely anymore, Bionicle doesn't return, crash and burn. But when it does return, I'll be way more excited because I was already hyped. And I feel like I'm against everyone else. I don't want to be the only skeptic here. I am conflicted on that iiddeeaa. On the one hand, the thought of teaching a little kid scares me. On the other hand, I like talking about Bionicle and am a literal know-it-all on Bionicle.

That would be sweet if it was here in time for my birthday If you want to talk of gut feelings... I have one that Bionicle is not coming back yet. Just jokin. I may or may not think it will come back, but I don't want to crush people's hopes. I want to smash them into oblivion. Back on topic, I want to see some other elements. I have a story (I knew I'd wind up saying that again) that features a toa team of other elements, and four Matoran. I've found some of the other elements are cooler. I like Plantlife. Sound and Magnetism... eh. Electricity, Plasma, and Gravity are cool. Iron is boring, and Psionics, I just dislike. What about new elements? Time, Alchemy, Acid, Sand...?

I got my first set when I was five, back in 2002. Mom used to give me Lego sets if I got all A's in School (Usually, it was Galidor, I think). Then one day, she got me Kohrak. I remember curling it into a ball and flying it around the room. After that, I got the rest of the Bohrok, except Gahlok. By then, I guess it was 2003, because the sixth set I got was Gahlok-Kal. When it became apparent I liked Bionicle, mom got me the '01 sets online. I also got all the Mctoran... I may have gotten a McToran or two before 02. It's too long ago to remember, but I don't think so.

I got my first set in 2002. Don't know when I started the story, (I think I found Bionicle Story.com around 08) but I now have a practically encyclopedic knowledge of Bionicle. You should see the documents folder on the computer I'm on right now -- almost every file is about Bionicle. There was a time it seemed I only ever thought about Bionicle. And once again, NatoGreavesy says what I'm thinking.

I was really bored and suspicious, so I looked up anything I could think of in the Lego S @H search bar. I looked up Bionikle (actually spelled like that) and I found an old FAQ where Lego said they had no plans to bring back Bionicle. Why haven't they taken that down? I doubt it would spark new rumors; who notices that old thing anymore? I only found it because I looked up everything possible -- even elcinoib (Bionicle backwards). Just a thought. They took down the message on LMB.
