Hapori Tohu
Earlier this week in the LEGO Newsroom a press release was posted announcing that The LEGO Group and the LEGO Foundation are joining forces with UNICEF to provide playful parenting to children in need in China. They will be investing US$2.5 million over three years in rural and disadvantaged areas of the country to provide, "resources to community-based family support programs to help caregivers understand the importance and life-long benefits of incorporating play into their everyday lives." I think this commitment to the education and well-being of children is fantastic, and this is hardly the first time The LEGO Group has worked with UNICEF on a project like this, showing they're serious about their goals. I hope the program goes well and improves the lives and education of children who need it!View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
