Yeah, the 2D old cartoon animations of Tintin are pretty great -- They follow the books almost entirely, and I liked the voices they chose. But, yeah, either way, it'll be TinTin, so that's something to get ready for.

Yeah, I love the 2D cartoons as well. Done so well. In my no fun old age, I can certainly see the flaws and stuff, but nostalgia still trumps all that. In the end the same will probably be for the movie too. I do like the choice of cast though, from what I remember of it. Fancy that, another Jackson film with Andy Serkis in motion capture suits.
