  1. IC: Kethrye's eyebrow, impossibly, rose even higher as his eye's narrowed, staring with bemusement at the Vo-Toa and Matoran. A single word escaped his lips, one that have the must concise appraisal;possible. "What."
  2. IC: "Maybe it has," Kethrye replied, cocking a eyebrow at Esao as he stroke over to where he had stopped dead in his tracks. "Should have probably applied a bit more caution before accusing anyone, true, but then hindsight's always clearest. I'll do my best to avoid rash actions in the future, okay?" The Toa of Ice inhaled. "As for other suspects, sure, I've considered that. Ambages just happens to be number one on that list. Yeah, it might have been someone lower in the company, but the all the likest of them are dead. The terrorist the Aitua captured might have been the beginning and end of the matter, I guess, but anyone with the astounding competence and luck required to pull that all off alone makes seem likely that he'd be captured as easily as he was, and that's not even taking his confession into account. And if anyone wanted to discredit Ambages they probably should have tried setting him up for a crime that would enrage people beyond the just us. He shrugged. "Ambages being behind the sabotage is the simplest answer, and in my experience the simplest answer is usually the right one. Even if the suspicion turns out to be unfounded, investigating him first was the right course to take-" Kethrye was cut as the sound brawl erupted in the street nearby. He glanced to his side, raising his eyebrow in an action that had become habit his the months spent with the ILF. What the karz is it this time? "Ms. Ril! You killed my father! Prepare to die!" "Ril?" Kethrye, turning from Esao, a Toa of Lightning and a Matoran entering his vision. "Ms. Ril?!"
  3. Gato and Smeag poping back in on the same day. . .could someone who was active when they were confirm whether we should start running yet?
  4. [Obligatory pseudo-philosophical status update.]

  5. IC: "A waste of time, certainly but not a complete one," Kethrye replied with a smirk, stepping out into the Ko-Koro streets. "Now we know either the architect's hiding something, or else is far less intelligent then he appears. If I had a way of producing such an revolutionary gizmo I sure as karz wouldn't install in the middle of nowhere without keeping the blueprints or some kind of backup handy. "Anyway, villain or cool dude, this case isn't closed just yet. There's still a few more leads we'll need to look into before we let Mr. Ambages off the hook."
  6. IC: Kethrye cocked an eyebrow at Esao's sudden arrival before replying to Ambages, choosing to ignore the Ta-Toa and instead conclude his current business. "Well, I suppose that settles matters, there isn't really anything else you could provide us with at the moment, although we'll contact you if we ever require your aid. Apologizes for inconveniencing you, but, well, any suspect is worth investigating as soon as we can, you know?" He laughed with calculated awkwardness, trying his best to seem amicable and trusting, even though the architect wasn't crossed from the suspect list just yet. Well, this has been a colossal waste of time, the ILF Leader thought, raising from his seat and striding towards the exits, waving for Esoa to follow. Kethrye's face fell back into a scowl as soon as he left Ambages's sight. Though that too soon faded as he considered the tidbits of information he had gleamed from the architect's files. On the other hand, at least now we have something to go on, at least. "So, where the karz have you been?" Kethrye remarked as the two came to the apartment's doors. "Haven't seen you or Nova since we left what's left of Pala-Koro."
  7. Wait, are you saying one of BZPower or an other Bionicle Forum's moderator is getting a cameo in Skyrim.
  8. I'm be interested. Don't know what manner I could contribute to it, but a BZPRPG/other games on this site themed album would be pretty dang awesome.
  9. IC: Kethyre stared into the new Toa of Ice's face, seeking signs of deception. He closed his eyes for a moment, then clenched his jaw as he opened them again. "And how did you come by this pieces of information?"
  10. IC: "You mean do tell you didn't keep any sort of blueprints or instructions at all?" Kethrye said, raising an eyebrow but otherwise remaining unmoved. Wasn't as if claiming one of nullifiers was all that important, even if getting hands on one might have proven useful. Perhaps he actually is innocent, the ILF Leader thought. If he lacked the foresight to keep a hold on how the create more of such a powerfully device how could he handle any kid of conspiracy? Assuming this isn't just another deception, I guess. "What about-" his sentence was disturbed by a commotion from the other side of the apartment. A voice Kethrye didn't recognized began a hurried conversation with the architect's butler that he was too far out of earshot to catch, but he did recognized the letters "ILF" his own name being used. "One moment," Kethrye said, directing a shrug at Ambages and, rising from where he had been seated, striding to investigate just what the karz it was this time. "Excuse me? I was just in the middle of something so this better be important. . ."
  11. Did I ever say it was EW's fault? No, it isn't anybody's fault. The reason I listen are all perfectly legitimate reason for being a bit slow to reply. Also, there's no reason to be so aggressive, Kray. Insults and rage won't solve the problem, and in fact just damages your entire argument. As a matter of fact, I do agree that Kraggh's handling of the situation was a too bit deus ex machina-y for my tastes, it seems well within the borders of acceptable behavior. It's no worse then, say, EW derailing Ambages's NPC butler to warm him about the ILF's approach, and you didn't see anyone raise a massive stink about that.
  12. Er- no, not really. Most of the inactivity of that plot was on EW's part, first due to illness and the the staff plot beginning to move ahead at full throttle, both of which obviously make replying a slow process.
  13. Hence conveniently blocking most of the player base from getting involved, leaving the staff and selected players to hash things out Just As Planned™.
  14. IC: The Toa of Ice took a seat across from the architect, hold his his gaze as the flames licking at the stone of the hearth crackled o the background, the the warm atmosphere it created at odds with the dire thoughts running though Kethrye's head. A duel of minds had began, and Kethrye was, in all honesty, completely outmatched; his only shot at victory was convincing his opponent to underestimated him, seem to be even more out of his league then he actually was. Best option's to ask for something we'll actually use, but not be used to guess what we're actually doing. Ships are right out them, need something else. Straight cash'd be a waste of opportunity, and information is a weapon I'd doubt he'd give willingly to his enemies. . . Kethrye grinned, an idea finally springing to mind. "You wouldn't happen to have any of those element dampening fields laying aorund, would you?"
  15. Vorex, it's been a pleasure roleplaying with you and it's a shame we won't have you around anymore. Now who will we have to invade Le-Koro with an army of birdmen or get slapped by major staff characters? It's certainly going to much quieter without a gazillion of your characters running around. Well, I'll see you around I suppose, and I'm sure you'll be dragged back eventually. Enjoy your break.
  16. Besides, tracking down and killing plot-important NPCs is a role-playing tradition for a reason. It forces the GM to actually make changes to his plans as things progress and is one way of allowing the players to have real lasting affects on the game. If there's one thing that'll make people lose interest in an RPG it's the feeling that their actions have now affect and everything was completely preplanned. EDIT: ^Um, yeah, pretty much that. It's best to no keep blatantly overpowered characters around to guide your plot, even if at times it's unavoidable. Heuani is a good example of what not to do.
  17. You could argue that canon is stupid in that regard, which is what they're doing.
  18. I love Persona 4: The Animation! Problem is, it's making me wish I had the system to play the game one, which is the opposite of what why I started watching it.
  19. I know from my Steam friendlist I'm not the only BZPer that plays it. Discuss Valve's other boot-focused vehicle for getting yelled at by strangers here! Currently I suck at it, and am trying my best to append that, and thankfully I've ran into some helpful folks to show me the ropes.
  20. IC: Kotaran ~ "That's no excuse," the marine returned. "We dun take kindly to heavily armed beings prancing about where they may be causing trouble, now 'specially."
  21. IC: Kethrye turned from Ambages as Verak stormed past them, babbling somethings about seeing himself out. Kethrye's brow furrowed quizzically as the Po-Toa saluted and disappeared through the apartment doors. Someone's getting antsy. The ILF leader shrugged and turned back to Ambages, waiting for the other to break the awkward silence with a reply to his questions. More time spent standing here is more time for Laryn to get back here, so there's no need to rush.
  22. IC: Kotaran ~ "Aye, watchin' the procession's fine, it's just your particular-" He glared up at the Vortixx. "-Vantage point that's the problem."
  23. OOC: I need a way to reintroduce one of my characters, and hope you don't mind me dropping in, Void. IC: Kotaran ~ "Just wha' you think you're doing up 'ere?" Kotaran said, calling up at the Vortixx perched above and staring down at the Turaga Nokama's funeral parade.
