so yeah, been tossing this idea around for awhile and these are the latest and greatest. first concept went haunted disc --> haunted DVD player --> haunted television, but i scrapped the DVD player because it was too obscure. but now the line felt too empty, and there was no real transition between disc and TV. later on i got to thinking that the TV looked too chunky, like an old one, when it hit me; make the line based completely around TVs, and make them get sleeker as they evolve. after dozens of tries, i've ended up with these rough designs.
i feel these guys would hypnotize people with cleverly patterned flashing lights while they steal their victim's soul. as for their stats, the final evolution would have the highest Sp. Atk of all Pokemon, beating out Deoxys-A by 20 points(AKA 200). he would also be very speedy, with speed either matching or surpassing Deoxys-S. it would have to be very frail with so much poured into Sp. Atk and Speed, tho, so obviously these guys' biggest enemy would be priority.
as the notes on the drawing show, i don't really know what names, typing, or abilities to give these guys. as far as typing goes, they're haunted TVs with strong Psychic powers, so it's obviously going to have to be Psychic/Ghost, Ghost/Electric or Psychic/Electric, but it's hard to pick one(personally though, i'm leaning towards Psychic/Ghost because they probably don't need electricity(they run on soul power)). Abilities are the next issue - Levitate is a good choice, especially if it ends up being part Electric, but something like Magic Guard would be cool, too. other Abilities i've considered are(in alphabetical order) Adaptability, Cursed Body, Defeatist, Download, Illuminate, Insomnia, Soundproof, Static, Synchronize, Technician, Telepathy and Trace. another option is something completely new, but i can't think of anything.
tl;dr what do you think of these guys, what should i name them, what typing should they have, and what Ability should they have
gosh why in the world did i ramble so much sorry about that =<
so i've been drawing a lot recently and i felt that some of it was better than usual so i felt the need to post it here
human(?) Bionicle Pridak and Kalmah Cofagrigus gijinka (not really)realistic Blaze from Minecraft
i had a bunch of other stuff too but my scanner is the stupidest thing in the world and it cut out random bits of the images and i didn't feel like fixing everything and then rescanning everything so i just gave up before i tried

It always scares me when one looks at my profile. I don't know why, but if they just suddenly appear out of the blue and look at my page, I get freaked out. It makes me think that they're going to send me a message saying I'm in trouble or something. Thankfully, staff usually don't just randomly look at my page, so this instance doesn't happen often.
disclaimer: this entry was posted because innerrayg just looked at my profile
i no this kind of comments are hated but hear me out
i'm just a guy trying 2 make it on utube so if you couls just check my videos out is would mean a big alot to me
even if jus 1 person sees this thats all that matters to me thanks you =)
lol jk jk
But seriously, a huge thank you to BZP staff for taking time out of their busy lives to work on this website, especially with how much whining they have to put up with when they could easily just leave. You guys are literally the best. =)
Let's face it; you aren't a savage anymore. Dinosaurs aren't roaming around the hut as much as they used to, and the ones that still do are predators to your livestock. Besides which, clubbing an animal to death just isn't the thing anymore. I mean, that guy who lives on the other side of the mountain learned how to create that hot stuff that burned your village down last week. Of course he died because he didn't know how to control it, but that's besides the point. In fact, I heard that your neighbor sharpened some rocks and mounted them on sticks. He calls them "spears". Then someone took a stick and broke parts of it off so that it was an optimal shape and tied a cut vine to it, and was launching rocks with it! He called the contraption a "slingshot". But if you are too close to your most favorite outdated weapon to give it up in favor of these newfangled ones, then at least cover the head in spikes or something. True, it will be harder to sling over your shoulder this way, but perhaps that's not too big of a price to pay if you don't want to use the newer and possibly better killing techniques. Whatever you do, just drop the freaking clubs!

over one year ago, i posted my very first Fakemon: two gingerbread men named Doughjoy and Gingerdead(soon after renamed to Gingrdread). the original drawing was exceedingly horrible, but i continued to redesign and alter them over the course of 2013. today, i have finished what i believe to be the last version of the duo in the forseeable future, and in recognition of that, i thought it would be a good idea to look back and see how Doughjoy and Gingrdread have changed.
the original design where it all began. as i said, this drawing is ridiculously bad, but it did establish several key elements that would carry over to all of the future iterations, such as: Doughjoy evolves into a part-Dark type(originally Dark/Normal, later changed to Dark/Fairy) Doughjoy has a heart shape on his chest, while Gingrdread has an "X" instead of gumdrop buttons, Gingrdread has skulls Gingrdread has large section missing from his head, as well as his hands
the second design(ingore the words and stuff(also i know i spelt "pastries" wrong okay)) apparently at the time of drawing this i thought it would be good for them to have eyes that were the size of Texas. their entire design was obviously refined in this image when conpared to the first one. it also introduced Gingrdread's eye scar.
the third design(ignore the words again) ...and in this version i must have thought it would be good for Doughjoy to look insanely creepy. aside from that, this drawing introduced their "gloves" and overall made them much lankier.
the fourth design(Gingrdread only) speaking of lankiness, Gingrdread suddenly got extremely tall and thin in this version. i don't really like this one at all; it didn't keep in style with the previous versions, and he didn't really look that much like a gingerbread man anymore. this design was eventually scrapped, and was not used as a reference when drawing their most recent versions.
the final(?) design(non-colored) the final(?) design(colored) and here we are, over one year and three noteworthy drawings in the making, i give you the most recent, and what i believe to be the best, versions of Doughjoy and Gingrdread yet. the lines are cleaner, the proportions are better, and in the end it all comes together to make a more cohesive and believeable design. but i guess you never really know what the future holds, and thus they may be revisited once again, but for now i'm really happy with these, and i feel comfortable in calling them the finshed product.
it sounds weird, but Doughjoy and Gingrdread will always have a special place in my heart, and not just because they were my first Fakemon. to me, they sort of symbolize my growth as an artist. just comparing the first drawing to the most recent one, it's dramatic seeing how much better i've gotten, and during the time it's taken for me to get to the final designs, i've started digitaly coloring and manipulating images, things i had no idea how to do when i first created these two. i still might not be that great of an artist, but i'm sure as heck a lot better than i was one year ago, and i'm excited to see how i improve next year.
