People who come into restaurants in big groups literally minutes before closing are some of the most irritating type of people, along with big rushes of people all ordering the same things and then complaining about a long wait when they caused it by not noticing the massive crowd of people already waiting for their stuff.
But hey on the bright side the kitchen staff is always great fun to be around considering pretty much anything goes conversation wise ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A simple 1 year course in welding covering the most used process and a couple other subjects and I'm done, now to work on a resume and get my foot in the door.
Planning to start small and build up my skillset and then move on up to better positions/jobs, a far off goal could be pipeline work with my own small side shop doing request work for repairs or art people would want.
Dunno where this field will take me but I'll make sure to try to enjoy it and learn more things along the way.
Here is a trophy I made for a friend as a sort of prototype.
More ideas down the line but gotta buy my own Tig machine first.
Got back form Brickfair 2016 yesterday, gotta say out of the three I've been to so far this was probably the best. I've still got the social skills of a grape but the fancy dinner event did make it a bit easier on me. That said I met the TTV people and Kahi is one of the chillest dudes I've seen. Along with a pretty good dinner, Zatth managed to convince me about my secret double life that I never knew I had and the horrendous acts I never thought I committed.
Also I appeared on Beyond the Brick's twitter page (me being in the horse head mask) which was pretty cool (thanks to X for letting me know) https://twitter.com/BeyondtheBrick/status/762362193404915713
MOC wise lots of cool stuff this year, was pretty rad to find the lego Touhou project characters; Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame.
Hatpile was legendary this year hitting a grand total of 66 hats.
Luroka is very good at princess carrying people, I however am not and will possibly drop you if you try.
Lots of fun was had this year can't wait for next year where I'll hopefully be bringing X and Unit along with me.
Look upon the craftsmanship that is the Skell Unit Voltex, kind average really newest and best in our line of Skells. It will be boldly used to fight the Telethia of Demise where it will hopefully not be destroyed within seconds of doing so, no promises though.
When stuff really starts getting to you and you can't even fall asleep until nearly 4 am, I'm such a mess lately and anything I try to do about it makes me worry more about it all
I've just finished reading part 4 the other day and have now started part 6 but I'm curious about what Stand you all like the most, and also if you could have any one Stand which would it be?
Personally Sticky Fingers from part 5 is hands down my favorite Stand, it in general would seem like a really fun Stand and considering how usefully Bruno made it in combat situations was pretty entertaining.
As for having any one stand its pretty much a three way tie of Sticky Fingers, Crazy Diamond, and King Crimson all of which would be very useful in daily life; Sticky Fingers would make stuff really fun going through walls extending my limbs and such, Crazy Diamond would be immensely useful considering it can fix pretty much anything and heal anyone with the only downside of being unable to heal yourself, it would really help with a lot of issues and such, and King Crimson would just be fun to use with time deletion and telling people that it just works.
Opening day was monday and I live in a college town RIP us, thankfully I simply had to work the closing shift from 7 pm to 2 am, although thanks to a certain "wonderful manager" I then had to work today from 9 am to 7 pm. I have just awoken from a minor food coma since I had pretty much nothing to eat since breakfast.
Another Skell unit modeled after someone's request, this time being Unit.
Vladimir offers an amazing defense as well as melee attack, with the most powerful attack on it being a scythe made of energy, very useful to have helping out with the big nasties that I sometimes don't even try to fight. Plus it looks pretty cool, not my favorite design but definitely up there.
And by that I mean I bought Xenoblade X the other day and have been playing it nonstop since 10 am this morning, so far things I can say about it.
Visuals: Good LORD this game is gorgeous and I haven't even left the first part of the planet yet, enemy design is pretty sweet the giant dinosaur type enemies being my favorite even though they are around 50 levels higher than me so I don't really care to hang around them for too long. Human models are very anime and while most work Lin's face really bothers me.
Combat: Pretty much the same as in Xenoblade Chronicles but with some added features, one of which Soul Voice I've yet to figure out how it works but oh well It'll happen eventually.
Skells: I WANT 20 OF THEM ALL MINE AND NOT TO SHARE I LOVE THESE THINGS AND HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN ONE YET!
Story: Seems pretty straightforward so far; Earth gets rekt, humans escape, some die, and some crash land on Mira, hoping that it gets more into possible lore of the planet and not strictly about rescuing humans(I doubt it will just be rescuing humans but still looking forward to the later bits of it).
Ect: The whole 8 divisions of BLADE is a pretty interesting idea so that you can get perks for different types of quests and objectives, curious to see how it plans to reward you with them. Started off with prospector to get that nice defense buff and whatever else is in store.
TL;DR Really looking forward to how the entirety plays out which will make me about as active as a dead sloth.
