  1. IC: Jake: "Yep," replied Jake. "Actually, I'm feeling great! Is that your home?" He had to admit, Fortree was beautiful, lush and green like a paradise. He hoped that he might be able to come back here after the war was over. Dragonite began his descent and soon the group were dismounting onto the soft earth of the forest. IC: Jason: Jason had never felt better; in fact, he felt like he could take on a hundred, no, a thousand men and still come out the victor. Flygon deposited him in a thick clump of growth near Jake and his friends.
  2. Hey, everybody, just reposting my Avatar: The Last Airbender RPG one last time before I submit it to the judges. Constructive criticism would be appreciated.I had troubles with formatting, so not everything turned out the way I wanted it to. I will sort it out eventually. RPG: Avatar: Corrupted Elements I did not add the main profiles detailing characters already mentioned due to my laziness. They are there though.
  3. IC: Jason: Jason dashed out of the prison and caught the Dragonite soaring away. He released Flygon, hopped on, and started to tail the Liberties. IC: Jake: Jake felt a wave of nausea overcome him as Dragonite lost height momentarily. "Catch me if I fall," he mumbled to Ryan. IC: Searcher: Searcher glanced back and saw the runes torture the poor boy he had added to the Searchers organization. Strangely, or not so strangely, he didn't feel a shred of remorse for the savage words screamed out by Mr. Tierra.
  4. OOC: Thanks, Parugi. IC: Searcher: Searcher considered the question for a moment. Was he evil? He watched the runes climb up the boy's leg, feeling no remorse, and decided that yes, he might be a little evil. "While you hold up the Darkrai, Mr. Tierra, I will be promptly on my way," he said. He released Roselia to protect him and hurried as swiftly away as he could. Bruen, unsure of what to do, stuck with Evan. IC: Jake: Jake experienced anothe rwave of pain, slightly stronger than the one before; he tried to fall down, and managed to conceal it. "Alright," he said after it passed, releasing Dragonite. "Let's go."
  5. OOC: Sorry I haven't been on Konuju. IC: Jake: Jake laughed. They were out! The air was fresh, but something was wrong; an ominous stormw as hanging overhead, but it seemed darker than a usual storm. "Uh, Ryan, what's going on?"
  6. OOC: @Parugi: Weeeellllll, they're kind've a block for the RPG; once they're removed, I hope it'll help a little. Besides, I said I would, and I will. @Alku: I've been told that you want Searcher for a plot, so I'll keep him and Bruen alive for you. @Konuju: Where are we headed again? IC: Jake: "I-I don't know," stammered Jake. "But whatever it was, we need to get out of here." "I second that," agreed Alex. IC: Searcher: Searcher rose, releasing Slowking form his Pokeball. "Slowking, transport me too -" He never had a chance to finish his instructions. In an explosion of fire and stone, the conference room was demolished in a single second; Searcher cried out and lifted his hands protectively, but never felt a touch of heat or rubble. He cracked open an eye and saw a shield of psychic energy surrounding him, Evan Tierra, and Bruen. The other S-Commanders weren't inside, and Searcher knew that they couldn't have survived the freak attack. Slowking closed his eyes and expanded the shield until a large area had been cleared of debris. The group looked up to see Ho-Oh, wreathed in celestial fire befitting an angelic host - and the Legend was attacking the fortress! IC: Above Searcher Fortress: Ho-Oh rained fire and brimstone upon the complex below, easily eradicating section after section of the Searcher's mightiest base. The corrupt workers serving the organization were vaporized upon contact of the golden flames, and the buildings didn't stand much of a better chance. A few brave and swift warriors rose to combat the Great Bird, but Ho-Oh was ready for these people's battle strategy. With one flap of its gigantic wings, Ho-Oh created a typhoon of wondrous light and fire. The fighters didn't stand a chance. A small telekinetic blast tickled Ho-Oh's wings; the Searcher's Cresselia, Lugia, and Mew were rising to defeat the formidable threat. Ho-Oh narrowed its eyes, and with a psychic storm so powerful it could be felt by the assailing Darkrai, Ho-Oh slammed the trio into the ruins of the Searcher fortress, as well as knocking out all Psychic Pokemon within a mile from the Legend. Ho-Oh roared and three fiery tornados brushed the ground, sending waves of deadly fireballs skittering across the ground and over the nearby ocean. Whatever was left in the once-great Searcher fortress was burnt to ashes in a single, horrid moment. Ho-Oh then turned its attention to the oceans and the skies, where Searcher forces were still coming. It rocketed forward and like a comet, left a blazing trail across the sky, and soon all boats, aircraft, and Searcher humans on or above the ocean were wiped from the face of the planet. Though it tried its best, Ho-Oh could not prevent the destruction of some Pokemon, who were not exactly innocent, as Pokemon standards went. But it didn't matter; the Legend had come to finish these devils, and that was what was going to happen, whether sacrifices had to be made or not. IC: Searcher: Searcher, Evan, and Bruen sprinted away from the raging ruins, the first lagging behind his younger companions. Slowking had been returned to his Pokeball after Ho-Oh's attack, and the trio were enduring massive migraines from the blast. When they had reached a relatively safe distance, Searcher glanced back at what had once been his pride. All he took in was cyclones of hellish fire and acrid smoke. His life was over. OOC: Dun, dun, dun. That cleans up stuff; plus it was fun to write.
  7. I like this a ton! It uses Onua masks very creatively and I thought that his axe was very cool. However, his shoulders and head seemed kind've weak compared to the rest of his body. All in all, really cool. 9/10
  8. I like this a lot. It's very well written and shows a good conflict within Nuparu. I also enjoyed seeing how Turaga Dume (or has he been taken over in the story?) wasn't the most considerate person, despite being a Turaga. But one thing was off; Nuparu seemed to know nothing of the Makuta, which seems wrong to me. I thought all Matoran knew of the Brotherhood. Beside that little point, this was a great short story! 9.5/10
  9. Name: SoranSpecies: Toa of IceAlignment: GoodGender: MaleAppearance: A typical Toa of Ice, colored in silver and white; his Mask of Healing is shaped like the Great Mask of Possibilities, but color-coded in white and silver. He is thin and tall. However, he lacks physical prowess. Weapon(s): Ice StaffSoran, desperately needing a weapon to protect himself from the evil of Makuta, hired a Vortixx to aid him in constructing an Ice Staff. With the aid of the Vortixx, and immense amounts of Elemental Energy, he was able to fashion his Staff, which is just like any other Toa tool, with one added feature. Mask: Mask of Healing Powers: As a Toa of Ice, Soran can manipulate and create Ice via his Elemental Power of Ice. However, he prefers to use this power to aid and amplify his healing abilities, and so he usually uses his Elemental Energy to help in quick battle-healing situations. Also, Soran’s Ice Staff can channel his Elemental Energy so finely he can create a small ice storm around an opponent’s head, taking away their sight. However, this technique takes all of Soran’s energy and he can only hold the storm for a short time before it dissipates and he is left almost defenseless. Traits: Soran is kind and compassionate, and has dedicated himself to helping others, which he usually does by healing their injuries. He has studied and observed as much as he can when it comes to wounds or diseases, and has become a fairly skilled healer. However, Soran’s desire to help makes him gullible, and he can often fall into traps. Thin and not muscular, he’s an easy target on the battlefield, but when his wrath is kindled, he can become a dangerous enemy. Because Solan is a pacifist by nature and has taken an oath to aid others, this rarely happens. Biography: Soran doesn’t truly live in any of the Koros, instead rushing from place to place to help the warriors fending off the Makuta. While he can usually handle his quick trips from place to place, he occasionally is overwhelmed and is forced to hide until the danger passes. Out of the Koros, Soran enjoys Ko-Koro the best. Some of the less experienced warriors on Mata Nui are familiar with Soran because he focuses on aiding the ‘newbies’ the most. He sometimes helps more prominent figures. Weakness(es): Soran isn’t very battle-savvy, nor can he navigate treacherous areas without aid. His passion to help others makes him gullible, and his weak physical prowess makes him an easy target. Soran has learned to endure heat, but hates being near lava or large fires.
  10. OOC: Since I'm not quuuuiiite sure where we are in the base, I'll just post. IC: Jason: As Jason slipped down yet another hallway, he gasped and collapsed; a bolt of sharp pain sparked throughout his body, sending dizzying waves of light over his eyes. 'What's going on?' he thought. The hallway tilted and spun for a moment before righting itself. Jason hesitantly rose to his feet and gave his hands a quick inspection, as if they had been infected with some sort of illness. They seemed perfectly normal. IC: Jake: A blinding wave of agonizing pain abruptly blasted over Jake, and he dropped to one knee, breath ragged. For a moment, his vision fogged and he couldn't see; nausea erupted in his stomach, but Jake diligently held back the bile stinging the back of his throat. Quakes rumbled through his frame, and he hugged himself tightly, closing his eyes and praying for the pain to stop. After a moment it did, and Jake, drained, shakily rose to his feet. IC: Searcher: "What we need is a battle plan," said Searcher, as the base rumbled with a storm outside. "The Darkrai are on their way, and most likely won't stop until they've conquered the globe." "All out attack," stated Bruen firmly. "It's the only way we can survive - fight or die." The other S-Commanders nodded their agreement. "It sounds foolish, but if we can defeat the Darkrai in one fell swoop, we'll be free," said Searcher. "Commanders, prepare the Searchers for battle." OOC: Parugi, may I destroy the Searchers using Ho-Oh? It would be a swift, easy way to wipe them from the game. IC: Ariana: Ariana and co. stood by Celebi's shrine. The secretary placed a small device on the shrine and within a few moments, a white glow illuminated the area. The group prepared themselves to meet a Celebi, but discovered a nasty shock when a temporal blast of energy roared from the shrine, easily wiping Ariana and her group from the forest. As she felt her body dissolving into the glittering waves of the timeline, Ariana wondered whether she had done the right thing in life. 'Yes,' she decided as darkness closed in, 'I think I did the right thing.' Ariana and her company dissolved into the timeline, erased from existence and from history. OOC: A fitting and swift end to her group. Now to eradicate the rest of the Searchers. . . .
