    Whatever has been going around making people sick, I have caught it. As of this entry I just have a somewhat sore throat, a cough, and my body is feeling a little weak, but I'm sure I'll be dealing with an extremely running nose among other symptoms in the coming days.
     
    Thankfully, I have the next two days off from work, so hopefully I can rest up and kick this out of my system. Because I really don't like feeling like this.

    I didn't discover this video until a few months ago, courtesy of a coworker. Its one of those things that you know doesn't have a need to exist, but you are glad it does anyway.
     
    And I do know that it was posted a few months shy of two years. But I still wanted to put it in an entry here. Because why not?

    Anyone else seen the movie 1408? I watched it for the second time earlier tonight, and I enjoyed it just as much as when I first saw it. I think John Cusask (sp?) does a good job in the movie. My favorite scenes are when his character, Michael, is talking to Samuel L. Jackson's character in the mini-fridge and when Michael is hugging his daughter towards the end of the movie. Of course, I liked many of parts of the movie too. Like when Michael is on the window ledge and when he sees himself in the room of the building across from him.
     
    So, what are your thoughts on this movie?

    Two hundred entries.
     
    It feels like only yesterday when I first had access to my blog during one of BZP's anniversary weeks. I thought it was so cool to have it back then. I still think its cool even though I'm a Premier Member now. I've really enjoyed having a place to post my thoughts on movies, thoughts on video game and movie trailers, random questions, and post about some crazy things I've either seen myself or read online.
     
    Here's to another two hundred hopefully interesting entries!

    With Pokemon Sun And Moon coming out last week, one might forget that Legendary Pokemon are still being given out for Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X, and Y for Pokemon's 20th Anniversary. I myself almost forgot to get Genesect, this month's Legendary Pokemon, and I haven't even got Pokemon Sun yet.
     
    And it would've been a shame if I had missed it, because I've collected all of them so far. I would've been really mad if I had missed Genesect. But now, I only have to worry about getting the last one next month, which will be Meloetta. And since it's being given out over the Nintendo Network, I shouldn't have a problem getting it.
     
    But for those who still need to get Genesect, you have until the 24th of this month to get it. Don't let it slip away like it almost did for me. Be sure to get it for your Pokedex!

    So today is the 40th anniversary of Star Wars. It was on this day, back in 1977, that the first Star Wars film came out, giving the world one of the best sci-fi movies ever made.
     
    And since then, we've gotten seven more Star Wars film with more on the way, comics, books, video games, multiple TV shows, and tons of merchandise. (Many of it being Lego sets. ) While the quality of these things depends on the person, there's no argument that Star Wars holds a special place in many people's hearts. And with the franchise moving forward, it will no doubt do the same for generations to come.
     
    Here's to another 40 years of Star Wars!
     
    What are some of your favorite Star Wars films, books, TV shows, comics, video games, and/or merchandise?

    I know this might be a few days late, but sometimes life just makes you delay stuff.
     
    Anyways, a lot of info was revealed about the Nintendo Switch last week, and I liked a lot of what I heard. Many of its games look really interesting to me. Especially The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind and Super Mario Odyssey. For the Zelda series, I've only played A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds, and half of Majora's Mask for the 3DS. So it would be cool to play another Zelda game, and BotW could be a good game to try. As for Odyssey, it just looks like it will be fun. Plus, I want to see why Bowser is wearing a suit.
     
    I was also excited to hear that Minecraft and Skyrim were going to be brought to the system as well. I haven't play either of these games, and this could give me a chance to do so.
     
    It does kind of stink that we'll have to play to go online with the system. But if it means that the servers will be better, then I can live with it. The other nitpick I have with it is that there wasn't a Metroid game announced in the line up of games. I know it was a long shot, but I still wanted to another Metroid game to come out. Hopefully we'll see one soon.
     
    Overall, I'm excited for the Switch. I'm definitely thinking about getting it, though I know I won't be on launch day. The earliest I might get one is in the summer if possible, because I don't want to deal with crazy people trying to get it as well.
     
    P.S. And if I do get it, I will get the one with the grey controller. I'm not a fan of the red and blue controller. It just doesn't look as good to me.
     
    What do you all think of the Nintendo Switch? And are you going to get one?

    Here is something I've been thinking about recently, and that is if it is worth it to have a Twitter account. I don't know what I would really do with it, aside from following a couple things. I know I probably wouldn't post much on it, since I rarely post anything on my Facebook account. (Aside from sharing stuff.) But I have been wondering if I'm missing out because I don't have one, and should get one because of it.
     
    So I bring this question to those who have Twitter accounts or who once used it. Is it worth it to have a Twitter account?

    It has been a LONG week for me these past seven days. At my job, the week of Fourth of July is the busiest in the summer. And since I work PM and overnight shifts, that resulted with me working a lot. I actually saw the sunrise three mornings in a row after working repeated overnight shifts. It was exhausting.
     
    But it's over now, so the rest of the summer shouldn't be as bad. I hope.

    It's been a long time since fans of the Metroid series have gotten a new game in this franchise. That ends this month with the release of Metroid Prime: Federation Force. It's hard to believe that we are actually just a couple weeks away from its release. It still feels like its months away to me.
     
    I really hope the game is good. I know that there are some fans who think that this game will be bad, and they could be right. But I'm going to play it myself and make my own judgments on it. For all we know, it could be one of the best entries into the Metroid series. I guess we'll find that out when the game is released August 19.

    Hope everyone is having a good day today, getting lots of candy, and/or having fun at Halloween parties.
     
    For me, I actually work today in the evening. Which isn't a big deal for me since I really didn't have plans tonight. However, it is raining A LOT where I live, so that may damper some plans for those who live where I do. But the rain is scheduled to clear up by tonight, so there might be some trick or treating going on once its hopefully gone.
     
    If the rain does clear up, I'm might have a busy night at my job. But it is what it is. At least I may get to see some people in really cool costumes.
