This is really looking great! I'd love to help out, but I'm rather unknowledgeable in the specific areas you require... I am trying to learn some java, though, so if you need an extra hand I may be able to help out some time in the future.Keep up the good work!

MNOG was always my favorite. Hopefully we can all relive it in a unique light soon!

That's excellent. I'll try doing some research in that area, thank you!Actually, it's a movie, and as Sumiki said, in movies you can use a lot of polygons without much consequence to make the characters realistic, but in a game, too many polygons results in every gamer's worst enemy: lag. So it might be better to do your own model, but I think that some of the B:NG staff is also working on an RPG called Bionicle: Universe (I'm hoping that's okay to link to), and they are working on a few lower poly models for that. -
I'll definitely get on that. It's good to know about the high-poly problem BNG has.

The reason I'm hesitant about going to Bionicle: Next Generation is because the project, to my knowledge, is devoted to a separate game (and members are only people working on that game). Of course, I may be wrong. If somebody were to correct me on that, that would be excellent.

A friend and I are working on a 3D remastered version of the original MNOG (Mata Nui Online Game). We both have experience in modeling, however the complex pieces offered by Bionicle make for excruciatingly slow progress. If others wish to help out, we are searching for any extra models people may have created (all contributors will be included in final credits).Thanks,-Matt5327One example of an unfinished work:

Sorry if someone mentioned this (most of this forum was TL;DR for me), but what I would really like to see is the original MNOG remastered in real-time 3D. It's actually something I've started, but unlikely to come to fruition (I have exactly zero experience in game development, esp. programming). I feel like the first MNOG is one of reasons Bionicle really became popular, and most of us remember it with an incredibly sense of nostalgia. To experience a remastered version, imo, would be breathtaking.
Bohrok Transformations
in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Posted
I have no way of backing myself up, but it would make the most sense to me (I think a few people may have touched on this already) that the Av-Matoran would turn into a sort of "blank-slate" Bohrok. They would essentially be a shell, totally drained from element or purpose, and it would be in this form that they are received by the Bahrag. From there they (the Bahrag) decide what is most needed, and "charge" each one according to the decided element. More of a swing in the dark than a theory, but I think it sounds pretty cool.
