  1. Nothing definite as yet, although Nuju's original post did mention that they started growing very quickly after Zaktan added antidermis.
  2. Please let's not get into another one of these pun-offs. It's off-topic and staff have asked for it to stop. It's nice that you can be clever like this, but this is not the place. Take it elsewhere.
  3. It is possible but unseen that any other Toa might be desinted to transform in the exact same way as the Nuva team did. Another Toa migt be destined to transform in EP, but they would be transformed in different ways. The same goes for kanohi as for Toa - only destined kanohi will transform. Non-nuva cannot access the powers of kanohi nuva, though Toa Nuva can access the powers of any other type of kanohi. A kanohi nuva will keep a matoran/toa/turaga alive and out of a coma, though they won't be able to access its powers.
  4. IC (Tara): Tara tossed one over her shoulder at Amaki, and continued buttering bread to make more.
  5. OOC: I’ve quote-posted this attack twice now, so from the lack of response I’ll assume that this NPC has been left for dead while the others retreated and bunny then a bit to move on to the next stage of the battle. IC (Karemo and Kitano): As the metal square flew at the Ko-toa, she made as if to block itwith yet another wall of ice, only to find that barely a few snow flakes rose from the ground. Her elemental power had all been used up by her previous actions, and now there was nothing left to save her. Then, as her mount jerked to a sudden stop, she was thrown forwards in the saddle, concentration shattered at the critical moment. Karemo's spinning blade sliced into her torso, cutting a deep gash, but not quite going all the way through. She fell from the bull with a shocked sceam as Karemo redirected the flightpath of his projectile so that it whirled back to himself where he absorbed it. Only a few spots of blood were left, and these fell to the ground, staining the trampled white snow. The the rest of the riders retreating back into Ko-Koro, Karemo and Kitano pressed forward into the city itself. Karemo rose into the air with his mask, flying over the destroyed gate, while Kitano used his own mask to teleport out of his hiding place. With a couple of jumps, he was able to re-find the pair of vako he had been controlling when the army had first attacked, and took control of them, ordering them to follow him into the village. The Kane-Ra of the dead toa he let go of, leaving it to wander around in the drifts outsiode the village. With a final flash of teleportation, he appeared inside the village just as Karemo zoomed overhead. He looked around for defenders. Apparently the Nightfall had already penetrated the citadel, but there were still plenty of beings running this way and that throguh the streets, amny of them defenders. OOC: Karemo and Kitano open for interaction inside Ko-Koro.
  6. Hint taken. Turano is now on the concourse organising volunteers. Arsenal and any other citizen/guard characters who want in on this can go and meet up.
  7. GM IC: "Good job, Teota" the captain replied. "Take them down to the prison cells. The healers should be finishing up by the time you get there. See that they are strapped on securely and then bring them out onto concourse where I'm assembling the army" He rushed off again, heading for a group of recruits.
  8. The buildings that are make up the village are sandwiched between the walls/gates at one end, and the chasm that separates them from the Citadel at the other. Thanks for that, but I wasn't asking what was in the village, but whom. As in, PCs I could send mine to interact with.
  9. IC (Tara): "Morning" Tara called back cheerily. "It looks like a good day out there. The cloud has lifted and the ground is drying out a bit. Sandwich?"
  10. In Ko-Koro, who is there in the main village? Not in the sanctum, not at the gates, not at the hospital, but just in the village itself.
  11. There is a way for good Mata Nui natives to get tech - take it from the foreigners/bad guys. For almost as long as we've had rules about foreign tech, the rule has existed that if a tech-bearing character is defeated in combat, the victor can take their tech.
  12. Mata Nui worshipers, not Makuta worshipers. They aren't the same.
  13. GM IC: "Right away" the Matoran stammered, running out into a backroom and rummaging noisily through a large store of objects. About a minute later, she returned with the requested explosives, each pack about the size of her ruru. "I could only find one boom switch, so they're all tuned into a single button. There would be more down in the mines, where these things are kept and used, but would this be enough for you?"
  14. IC (Tara): Tara rolled here eyes at the Fursic's strange mumbling, and then rolled out of bed. She folded her blankets and put them back in the stack at the corner of the hut before going to find something for breakfast.
  15. IC (Tara): The sun was well above the horizon by the time Tara woke up the next morning. Yawning, she sat up and looked around for Amaki to see of she was up yet.
  16. GM IC: "Do it, then" Tawhito said gravely. "Teota, you get the explosives. Turano, gather the full guard and muster every volunteer you can. However this ends, it ends tonight." Turano saluted and turned on his heel, walking out of the room with three long, purposeful strides. He crossed the concourse into Guard HQ, and it was the first time since he had run into town that he had set foot outside of Tawhito's hall. Despite the late hour, a number of people followed him with their eyes, wondering what the captain was up to. The answer became all too clear when the alarms started blaring out across the city, summoning the Guard to muster and citizens from their beds. With the sounding of the alarms, another group of warriors was gathering, though in secret. The Hammer, too, would fight this night. They did not know what threat called the guard to arms, but it was an opening, a chance to use chaos and strike against Tawhito and the guard. Bo-Kal would no longer confine himself to a few petty raid, hitting and running. No, tonight was all or nothing, revenge or final defeat. OOC: Right, anyone who wants in on this massive, multi-faction battle can get on down to the concourse or Hammer Secret Base.
  17. GM IC: Turano stood still for a long moment, before finally collapsing into one of the chairs around the room's long table. "Your courage in the face of this threat is admirable, and part of courage is facing up to the possibility that things might turn out badly for you, that you might be wrong, but still taking the risk because it is worth it for what you love. I know that it is love for this place and its people that motivates Tawhito to suggest this, so perhaps I could have been more respectful in my response. Ordinarily, I'd threaten to resign in protest over setting Dark Hunters loose in our city, but under the circumstances, too much that we all love is at stake. If we must take this risk I will take it with you, and accept where the dice fall. "That said, all possible steps should be taken to minimise the risk. Before they so much as set foot outside their cells, I want to send to the Miners' Corporation for a few packets of explosives and a remote detonator. Each hunter has a charge strapped to their body so that they can't get it off, and we'll assign a guard to do nothing but watch them like a hawk with their finger on the trigger. At the first sign of treachery, they push it. I know it isn't the most honourable thing to do, but we still have to be practical about this."
  18. No, you probably can't. The other route to getting such devices, though, that I left out of my other post is Vault Loot.
  19. They do exist, as foreign tech. A character can either be created having one when they turn up on Mata Nui (with staff approval of course), or for a character who doesn't start with them, they can be won in combat from a character who does have one. They cannot be made, bought or sold on Mata Nui.
  20. The lava he was talking about in that instance was what he could create with his lava launcher, not what he needed another Skakdi to make. What he needed them for was the "pure flame" - his element uncombined with anyone else's.
  21. Nope. It would still work if only Natharius was using his powers, so long as Grokk was willing for him to be able to do so. There was the time when Matan and Natan built their house in Le-Koro, combining iron with plantlife.
  22. IC (Tara): "Goodnight" she yawned, pulling out a pile of blankets and draping them over her bunk. She threw on last piece of wood onto the fire before finally going to bed.
  23. IC (Lema): Lema gave a quick salute and then activated his kakama, zipping away in a blur of motion. Half a minute later, he was back, all saddled up and riding Zadok.
  24. IC (Tara): The Dashi soon finished oof her plate and leaned back contentedly in her chair. It was a nice way to finish off the day. "Well, I'm going to hit the hay" she commented. "Let's not worry about the cleanup until after breakfast tomorrow. We should have plenty of time, since there isn't so far to walk tomorrow, just a couple of hours' worth. We get up above the treeline and into the tussock, but not so afr up we're down to rocks, moss and dragons."
