  1. I hope they go back to the technic pin attached armor for sets instead of the HF ball and socket. I just can not stand the HF sets >.< I know hoping for gear functions might be overstretching it a little but who knows
  2. Akira was glad Noira was happy, because the place was making the paladin feel a bit on edge. "How can someone live without seeing the sun? I can't see a thing in this dim light." she complained, the goggles built into her mask not making it easier. The industrial noises bounced around the cave village, making her head hurt. Akira understood the jobs that were here were necessary, but noone could pay her enough to work here. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity, despite never being here before. "Something's off with this place. I've been having this deja vu feeling ever since we've entered the wahi, but I can't put a finger on what it is." she noted to the Le-toa.
  3. IC: "Hm, you want to go play in the mud? Sure thing, kid." Akira teased and got back up. Incidentally, her latest trail led to Onu-Wahi as well. "Well then, let us gather our things and be on our way." the ga-toa nodded and went to the tent to get her bag. OOC: Akira to onu
  4. Tough choice between Lariska and Ancient, probably the former No better member of a crook organization than a fiend like her.
  5. IC: The Ga-Toa sat down on the sandy beach and gazed at the ocean for a while. "I was actually thinking about taking a break." Akira said with a tired sigh. She was still feeling the time she spent training the others. Or was it age already? "Say, Noira, do you have any place you wanted to visit? Since i'm not likely to ever remember where my home is, I'd like to get to know this place a bit better. But I'm at loss of where to start." she explained, looking up to the Le-Toa, "I'm sure the crysis will find me if i'm needed somewhere. So why not just enjoy ourselves for a while?" And jsut maybe, solve the puzzle and figure out what happened all those years before. she thought for herself.
  6. "Look at you talk, ms. battlefield veteran." Akira said, giving Noira a joking poke. "Everyone is inexperienced at some point. Training them further would not make them any better. Besides, they were in the guard before." the ga-toa shrgged, "They aren't as inexperienced as they might look. It's now up to them to learn to pick the fights they can win - one way or the hard way." she said, shooting a glance back to the hut. "If they fall, I'll pick them back up, and if something truly dangerous is encountered, we'll gather once again."
  7. Seeing the Le-Toa approach, Akira smiled and left the two fire-spitters to themselves for now. She picked off a leaf that stuck to Noira's mask whereever it was she was hiding before, unable to snuff a giggle at the sight. "Yes?" she asked. Ever since they met the Ga - Toa had a soft spot for this one. She knew what it was like to have been captured and how hard it could be to get over it. Herself she was lucky to find a guardian angel in the shape of a Fe-Toa, so she was now trying to be the same for her. Or, doing her best to. Sometimes she couldn't but think she was failing miserably, especially getting her to open up to anyone but her. But the girl already grown on her too much for her to entrust Noira to anyone else.
  8. OOC: Back from hiatus IC: Ta-wahi/Ga-wahi border Walking out of the makeshift bamboo hut, Akira summoned two spheres of water to wash the blood off of her hands. “She’ll live.” was all the Ga-Paladin said for a while. “How many times did I tell that hotshot she is no Tahu? And then she takes on two skakdi all on her own. Cocky, stubborn, ... Oh I'm wasting my breath.” she complained to the other Ta-Paladin she summoned to take care of her patient. “I can hear you you know!” Fiera, the patient in question shouted from within the hut. “You can hear but you never listen! And you got a knife through a forearm and, oh, two three broken ribs as evidence.” the water elemental replied over her shoulder. “They are in a hospital and will follow to the jail you know.” the fire toa tried to argue, but another comment from her mentor about her being out of commission for a whole week shut her up. The mask of healing could make wonders, but even then it was still good idea to rehab. Right after they passed their trial, Akira decided not to hold the team together save for some major trouble arising. That was the way of the Toa, not theirs. She chose to move around the shores as the only one of the still small order who could patrol the waters. Apparently the female firespitter took liking to the idea and roamed the island for a bit, getting herself involved with a band of thieves to take them down from the inside. She succeeded all right, but was reduced to a heaving hulk who nearly punctured her lung getting here. “You know, just because I can’t stay in one place for longer than a week, doesn’t mean you have to do that too.” she started looking at the other fire toa, “She’ll need the week at least to get her arm back into shape. Take her home. You had jobs there right? Unless you go to war with someone, nothing in the codex prohibits you from having a fixed base.” Akira offered, “And once you’re there, keep her out of trouble, for the love of god. I already have one kid to watch over.” the Ga-Toa noted, taking a look around searching for a speck of green that didn’t match the scenery.
  9. *boop* Hello! It's meeeee! *watches as noone remembers him*
  10. IC: Fiera chuckled as Xarya fell on the ground, her little ploy working exactly as she hoped. Waiting for her to finish armoring up, the Ta-Toa had to admire the robe. She always liked to distinguish herself from others and was quite fond of her cape, but it paled in comparison. Fiera also couldn't afford something so restricting. Unlike her lightning teammates, she chose the path of the knight. Despite having fun using her elemental power, she was more comfortable with it in a supporting role than as her weapon of choice. Looking over to their little camp, she saw others were on their feet, and Akira among them. "What do you think she came up with this time?" Fiera whispered towards Xarya. In the past Akira had at times came up with the most extraordinary ways to train something, and she felt in her gut the final trial would not break that rule. Akira inhaled sharply, startled by Noira's sudden appearance. Looking at the Le-toa, she put up a mocked frown. "I trained you a little too well didn't I?" Akira remarked, her face turning to a knowing smile. She made up her mind to include Noira in the Initiation to see if she would have to go through with her earlier words. She hoped not to, and she had high hopes for the toa of air. When Mila approached, she waved him a silent hello. "That remains to be seen." Akira replied, her eyes narrowing into slits as one by one her judging gaze went across all of her charges. They all did well so far, but now they will have a chance to show if they can put that training to use. Then the Toa of Iron directed her attention to the weapon he's been making. she often wondered what that was about, and what he said took her aback. It was a nice gesture, even if she had some doubts about the tool matching the user.
  11. Unknown to Xarya, there was a sinister plot to assassinate her peace in the works, as Her Trollness the Queen of Ashes silently crept towards the unsuspecting - or so Fiera thought - Vo-Toa. Slowly and with her breath held to the last second not to reveal herself, the crimson Hau appeared right next to Xarya's ear, spotting an ear-to-ear grin. "WAKE UP, sister! Today is our big day!" Fiera shouted from the top of her lungs. It was yesterday that Akira has dropped the news on them like an anvil. The training was finally coming to a close. They have spent the past days in preparation for today, beating the life out of each other in Akira's combat exercises, straining their elemental powers until they passed out and studying the ways of the order from the Ga-Paladin's scribbles until, at least in her case, she fell asleep from boredom. Fiera had to admit though that Akira's ruthless methods bore fruit. She broke quite a few bones in the trials, but with their teacher's healing skills, they were reduced to valuable, even if an unpleasant experience. She came to trust the Ga-Toa in other ways too. Early in the training, after she unlocked the power of her mask, Akira suggested she should abandon archery as her means of combat. She was still sad at the memory of trading her crossbow and shield, pretty ###### near tears the day after. But her new weapon - a crimson bladed two handed sword - has grown on her, and by now it was an extension of her body rather than a tool. And today she would prove it. The training was not so merciful on Akira though. On one side, the Paladin was happy her students made such progress in such a short time. Of their eagerness there was no doubt. On the other hand, as they got better, Akira got worse. In every trial they got better and better, and it cost her more and more bruises. In the last few days she could only pin them against one another, as her mask wasn't capable of healing herself, but she would have needed that. Coaching them from the bench for the last few sessions, she deemed them ready. She came to them yesterday about the Initiation. One final test, one like they didn't went through so far, to prove whether they were indeed prepared to take up the mantle of the order. She taught them what she could, but unlike before, the initiation would test not only their abilities, but also their unity, resourcefulness and character. And it would test her as well, as she would be the villain. It would take all of her skill too to provide acceptable challenge. Fortunately she'd have help. Yawning as Fiera's shout torn her from her own meditation, the Ga-Toa got up and stretched her sore limbs. Inhaling the sea air, she looked in the direction of the racket to see what Fiera was up to this time.
  12. GAAAAAAAAAAAH! SO MUCH WORK! >.

  13. I actually got Fiera's transformation approved by EW during the last time skip.
  14. I can't say I like it. Compared to the awesomeness of the last arc, it's just weak.
  15. Q: Who 'owns' the Daedra idea? I'm being told it's Emissary. I got a question for 'em but i wasn't around during most of their time and wiki doesn't mention that.
