  1. IC: TorvothWith great difficulty, he hammered a signpost into the sand on the outskirts of Aqua Nui. It was written in slightly skewed, angular Matoran script. To any normal person, it would seem he was requesting materials to help him make a small ship - which would be useful for him. However, to a select group of individuals with the right knowledge, the various written quirks would indicate an invitation. An invitation to the shadows, to the Brotherhood. OOC: I didn't think I'd have internets, but I certainly will not have them for a while. Thus, any players related/working for the Brotherhood of Makuta can take their time.

  2. IC: TorvothTorvoth cautiously stuck his head around the corner of the hut, following Coren and... Anuka? With his keen ears, while not hearing every word, he understood that the newcomer was being taken to meet the leaders of Aqua Nui. Suddenly, behind his faceplate, his face contorted into a mask of rage. Why hadn't anybody deigned to bring HIM to the leaders when he arrived a couple days ago,or even at least inform him of their existence? Not him, the renowned weaponsmith, but some random Water whelp? After several minutes of internal fury, he calmed himself and drew his thoughts together. Perhaps... Perhaps after he found out more of these leaders and these Lost, SOMEBODY, or several somebodies, might have an unfortunate...accident. Smiling to himself, he slid back into the shadows of the hut, his pitted black and dull silver melting into the dark. He just hoped nobody got in his way.

"I don't remember if my memory serves me right, but were you the one Toa who got called in after I leveled a block on Xia? The one who had to, out of Toa character, I must say, request a generous donation of deathdealing - I mean peacekeeping - goods from me to look the other way? Oh, come on! Don't look at me that way! You, me, and The Judge," Torvoth indicated the launcher at his waist," all know that it was you, right?" Torvoth clapped the Lost around his shoulders, being careful to avoid the spiny fin jutting from his back. "Say," he said, his eyes setting on Coren's companion, "Who are you?"

OOC: I'm gonna be away from a computer for a couple weeks, so my character can go to the wayside for that time.

  4. I posted in the other forum, but I'll stick this here too.

    Name: Torvoth (nickname Torph)

    Gender: Male

    Species: Vortixx

    Faction: None - Loner

Powers: (please be clear): Relatively strong, considering he's a Vortixx.

Skills: Weapons engineer, good at building, fixing things.

Equipment: Breathing mask/helmet crafted from a defunct Kadin, armor.

Weapons: Chainblade and a metal one-handed launcher that can fire almost anything (compressed air balls underwater, rocks) - he calls it "The Judge".

    Kanohi: (if applicable)

Appearance: (Details are necessary) Black and silver, short for his race (not towering like Roodaka), the above mask, armor (like any decent Bionicle), always a bit dinged up and scratched.

Personality: (optional): Unpredictable, sometimes gruff, sometimes friendly

History: (5 sentences, at least) Before the Cataclysm, he was a lowly male of the working class on Xia, where among others of his kind, he forged weapons based on the specifications of others, typically envisioned by the dominant females. However, his mind could not be constrained by merely constructing items of destruction, so in secret he began to craft his own equipment, taking the designs of others and making them better. Soon, his creativity blossomed and complete originals came from his workshop, which by now wasn't so secret considering the cash flowing to him. From where? He didn't care, be they Dark Hunters, Brotherhood Members, or a half-drunk Skakdi, as long as they paid him. When the Cataclysm arrived, he didn't hesitate to take with him his best designs and book it. He originally believed he was the sole survivor, floating amongst the wreckage of Xian factories, but soon discovered that there were others. Some offered him membership to their groups, but he elected to be on his own, roaming the sea to do as he sees fit, periodically mingling with others if he so chooses.

  5. IC: Torvoth

He had made a lot of grudges, as benefits one who built and sold items of death, destruction, and deconstruction. This lead to him having a pretty good memory to keep himself clear of those who desired his head, but also a decent memory in general. He hadn't seen the Lost in his present form, but it certainly was Coren! He swam towards Coren and his friend, wondering who the newcomer was. He hoped his battered Kadin-helm or barely concealed chainblade wouldn't scare them.

    WATER WATER EVERYWHERE!

  7. IC: Torvoth

Torvoth brought his blade to a sputtering halt as he realize the shape had said something, perhaps not to him, his ears told him. As the four-legged shape came closer, it split into ... two humanoid shapes! A pair of Lost - and that blue one on the right! Could his eyes deceive him, or was it really...?

    OOC:

Ummm... where is this Record of Ocean Citizens you speak of?

  8. IC: Torvoth

Torvoth angrily shoved the Lost merchant who was trying to sell him fish back: "Why in the world would I need to buy fish? In case you haven't noticed, the entire world is filled with them!" He drew himself up to his full height (which despite being a Vortixx, was rather short) and glared at the merchant through the breath-helm made from a defunct Kadin. Unwisely, the Lost refused to back away and met his baleful gaze. An inevitable confrontation was looming, only defused when Torvoth noticed a strange shape swimming through the water above the settlement. It had four appendages and was swimming at an unbelievable speed. "Look!" he cried, "Rahi in the waters!" The Lost around him began to turn and squint at the figure he was pointing at. None of them appeared to be phased. Growling, he unlimbered his weapon and revved the chainblade. Satisfied with the roar coming from his hand, he began charging towards the threat.

  9. When you say all four for $4, do you mean each set is $4 or all four are a total of $4?Also if it is, for example 4 bionicles for 4 total, are you willing to split that up? E.g. Buy from your first lot just Pohatu and Vakama for $2, while leaving Nokama and Kopaka?

  10. I recall someone making a Hewkii one and posting it on BZPower, but that was a few years back. Probably around '08 or '09. Sorry I can't be much more help than that. I can look for the old topic and get back to you if I find anything, if that would be better.

EDIT: I think this is what I was thinking of. There may have been one of either of those two specifically, but I can't seem to find it.

El linko no worko. IPS error.

  11. Granted, but the Grammar (and Spelling) Nazi comes in and plugs you for spelling Harlem as 'Halem'

I wish I had a jetpack that wouldn't explode or run out of fuel or light me on fire or make me lose control.

    Wait, what?

I'm pretty sure I had more than 37 posts...

  12. I wish we could come up with something more created than stabbing oneself with a sharp implement and suicide.

Also, Flaredrick, you should just look at Norik's cannister.

    "Googles" - OK...

Granted, but aliens abduct you and use it to scoop out from of your brain tissue to create an evil doppelganger of you.

I wish Kalatchkies/Kolaczkis didn't go bad so quickly.

  13. Well, I decided to whip this up when I was bored with homework - about 30 mins of Do NOT bypass the word filter - Rayg sketching, and 30 mins of coloring during breaks at school. What I was thinking of when I drew this was the scene where Master Chief was on the forerunner dreadnought in the Halo 2 ending cutscene, where Lord Hood says, "Mind telling me what you're doing on that ship?" to which Chief replies, "Sir. Finishing the fight." Finish the Fight became Halo 3's official tagline. You will notice that Lewa is cocked to the side, with the light coming behind from behind him, similar to that in the cutscene. Well, it's nothing special, but I hope you like it. As you may know, Lewa Nuva actually had some design elements from Master Chief (many of which were eventually cut), but I also just saw Bionicle 2008 as a heroic finishing point for a main portion of the plot arc. Also, if the picture doesn't work, here is the URL: http://s1242.beta.photobucket.com/user/relicblade/media/Leewah00013_zps3897a8cd.jpg.html And of course, BZP says that my picture thing isn't allowed. Just take the link, please. P.S. Sketched in pencil, then scanned, then colored using Photoshop CS5.
