(Not that 600 HP would get old either lol.) I can certainly say, though, that if i do end up getting one, it will not be left stock. 2nd gens make 450 HP from the factory, which isn't terrible for a car of that age. 600-700 HP range would be more suitable for the car with a nice side pipe exhaust and a centrifugal supercharger, though.

I don't need a Viper to compensate for anything. I just want one because they're unlike anything else on the road in so many ways. And of course they drive like nothing else too. Relatively low weight, super strong chassis, ideal weight distribution, and copious amounts of grip to go with all that.

All that being said, by the time I've saved enough to go ahead with the purchase, I may very well end up buying a Coyote Mustang or throwing an LS3 and T56 into my Miata. XD Vipers are reliable and somewhat cheap and easy to fix, but they are not cheap to put gas in. 12 MPG city is never fun, and neither are super high insurance rates.
