Oh my god. I haven't seen that since 2001! That looked exactly like it! I can tell what it did, when you pressed a thing, it would take you to a list of the names. If you pressed one, you would be greeted by a picture of that person, to the right, and to the left there was text. There are a bunch of screenshots on my Bionicle boxes, and ALOT on the manas, I can send them to you.

Oh, and If you need high quality pictures of the legend, Aka lewa and that eye, the agaiga nui, onua finding pohatu, or high quality music, I have every track from some old disk I dont just mean the power pack, I have every song in MNOG high qualit not flash garbage that you get in the game,

Didn't the credits from the videos that deepbrick gave us have a list of the beta testers? Why doesn't someone try to find them?

Doesanybody have any leads?

 

What do you guys think "the glitch" is, anyway?

My best guess is the kill-z (the point at which the character goes down too far and dies regardless of any falls, which may technicaly be a kill-y) is set too high, possibly to accomodate other areas of the level. Impossible to say for sure without the actual game, but whatever it is I could probably beat it in a days work.

 

Too bad "the glitch" keeps us from seeing more of the game...

 

What do you guys think "the glitch" is, anyway? My guess is that the surface type was set to something like lava or spikes. I doubt it's fall damage, as the platform is not a larger distance down that the rest.

The wiki page says that some beta players got past it. My guess is that they held on to the ledge and then dropped onto the platform

Hello all!!!!!!!!! Okay, so I have found a way to view the old fourms. The Wayback Machine!!!! With this site, you can see websites that have been archived over time. So, I decided to go on it to see the old posts relating to BIONICLE: Legends of Mata Nui. All of the information relating to the game was lost. No one knows what RedQuark had said, no one knows anything. So, I found this old fourm about the game, and it has posts from RedQuark ect. Apparently, only Deep Brick, and some "crazy game employee" are known to own a copy of the game. DeepBrick, would only communicate through RedQuark, and he sent him videos and gameplay footage. ALL the info about the game comes from Deep Brick. Now, back to the present, if any of us have any plans of ever seeing this game, someone, somehow, has to get in contact with Deep Brick. Trouble is, who the is he? I'm trying to search members in the WayBack Machine, but searously who is he???

anyone have any boxes for sale, particulary the manas? ill give you 10 dollars for it.

Cant someone "Trick" lego into saying yes? Like "oh I found a copy can I send it to a friend?"

Why cant DeepBrick just leak it? I know its illegal, but if you do it from another computer on mediafire or something, then who will know???

The only set I am missing for the year 2001 are the Manas. I need a good deal on them. Preferably with box/instructions but anything goes. Anyone?

For me it's 2001, easily. What made BIONICLE special was the air of mystery and wonder - the magic of this island filled with dangerous beasts and cool villages. I think that Mata Nui is easily the best looking and most interesting of all the islands, and in 2001 it was totally new. Mata Nui Online Game I did a fantastic job of fleshing out the island and story. 2001 had some of the best comics - I'm a fan of the early style over the others. Likewise, for artwork and animations, I feel that 2001 was the best - the 2005 and 2006 animations don't come close to those of the first three years. The storyline was simple, with a lot of room for your imagination. Oh, and the Rahi are by far the best villains we've had. Lastly, they show ordinary Matoran being heroes, instead of letting Toa do the work for them.

 

I enjoy the later storylines a lot, especially the serials, and I love the 2009 sets, but nothing beats 2001 for me. I enjoy the 2006 games a lot, and they beat any other year, but MNOG I tops them all for me.

I have tried for years and I still cant figure it out! What are you supposed to do? I know how to play kohlii but i don't get the game! I just keep clicking for the ball and they ALWAYS BEAT ME! And my goalie just does whatever it wants!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!

I was born in the year 2000. Since then, I have had every single set except the Manas and 2010 sets. I had missed living through Bionicle in my favorite years 2001-2003 but I didn't intend to miss out anymore. I became a Bionicle collector/Enthusiast. With eBay, I have managed to build up my collection. Now, I am just waiting for a good deal on the manas I remember one day watching a video about the Bionicle Stars. I thought they were garbage, but then I heard it. "These will be the last Bionicle sets ever released by Lego. It litterely felt like being punched in the chest. All the air was knocked out of my lungs. And now, in 2014, the Bionicle website is shutdown. Sometimes I go to the Internet Archive "Wayback Machine" and get nostalgic. It gets me so depressed. When I see all of my adverts like "Live the legend" I get sadder. Would anyone like to share their expirences?

New batteries

My favorite were always the Toa Mata. My favorite was Gali. The Toa nuva were sort of iffe for me, I thought the masks and the armor was overkill.

I was born 2000 and my brothers 1993 and 1994. They both had Lewa Mata/Nuva, Tahu Mata/Nuva, Gahlok, Parhak, Makuta, Guuhalk, and, tahnok. They were never really into it. I used to play with there's (aka destroy and lose peices :3) But the first one I every truly got was Turaga Dume and Nivhok. I could only build Dume and Nivhoks legs so my brothers had to help me. But, throught the wonders of ebay, and stores, I have managed to get almost every set. I am missing the Manas and most of the year 2010. I miss Bionicle so badly. I remember watching the video that told me for the first time that bionicle was being canceled. It felt like being punched in the chest. I mean, I bassacly hated every set they made after 2005 but it still hurt.
