Surprise guys, bionicle G2's end was all a prank. We're getting sets in 2017. LEGO planned this all along to throw us off their scent while they design G3. The only plan that could rival Makuta's is that of LEGO's. LEGO BIONICLE movie coming 2017. Get hype.

I hated Spiderman G2, at least bionicle was somewhat decent

The fans are the ones who brought G2 to life. I'm grateful we have such a talented, creative and passionate community.

 

Wait so where's the 2015 Toa build and Okotan build?

Well it's not that I'm angry about it I was just curious how many similarities Bionicle shared with Ninjago, both are decent stories, I've only watched a couple of episodes of Ninjago ever on its first CN airing.

Hello friends I noticed recently that a few people have said that G2 Bionicle was just ninjago reskinned, and it may be true because I did some looking into of Ninjago characters and discovered that Kai was the master of fire. I just wanted to know if Bionicle ripped off Ninjago, or if there were any similarities, can someone tell me if they've noticed any? Thank you.

Wait so where's the 2015 Toa build and Okotan build? Those were very well designed, but I do prefer the Mata forms of the toa and Nuva, and also I prefer the Tohunga and Koli-toran

You know what would be really nice? If you could use LDD to build custom models with custom colored pieces and they would make it for you just like they did a few years back, imagine how could it would be to create your own bionicle sets!

I do kinda have a story of my own, but it's not all set in stone as of yet, but any one should see the continue pf bionicle the way they want

They honestly needed big beasts, or Rahi, and also Mask packs. They wanted to make the masks known for being important but there could have been more masks

Wow I don't even know what to say, this film really spoke to me. You've literally put more emotion and thought into a single short film than any of G2 Bionicle. And that music was great, too.

Fans should not be able to dictate what's Canon and what's not, and there's a reason why. Sure you could probably handle it better but that doesn't mean that you can. How is your continuation story any better than mine?

I hate the idea of fans being able to dictate the entire story, so that when you want to make YOUR version of Bionicle continuation it "won't be canon" and the fans do not know how to handle a bionicle continuation. Just let bionicle rest in peace, and continue the story in your OWN way.

But regardless Makuta is still a demon

The legend of the bionicle is a tale of six heroes falling from the heavens to battle evil and save the island from a dark future.

"From the makers of Bionicle figures" originally on the first gen hero factory boxes and cans. I loved seeing that they still respected bionicle enough to make similar to bionicle sets.

Rest in peace bionicle. We should have at least had one last wave one final hurrah for bionicle. Now we are expected to buy out the rest of the sets just to build the makuta combiner. Smh.

^ Uh, no? Lego said themselves bionicle is going to return in the future but we have to wait for another 5 years likely

 

 

Count me in. Currently I am researching the possibilities of creating a large scale multiplayer coop/survival mod with the Doom engine. So far I don't have enough skills in programming or 3D modelling to attempt to do some work in a modern engine, however the Doom engine works wonders with modern ports like Zandronum and to this day good old Doom has the best coop/survival experience of any game ever made.

 

It would be something large scale, focused on many players meeting at an evening and playing a sadistically hard level with truly gargantuan battles - considering it is an FPS (the use of 3D fashioned sprites instead of 3D models means that you can get an insane amount of enemies in one single level). The story would be set during the time after Makuta was banished into the Shadow realm by the Toa Uniters. You would play as Ekimu, who would once again assume his powered up form and travel into the Shadow realm to liberate the doomed Capital City from the tyranny of his brother Makuta.

 

Now I would like to note again that this is still in the form of initial research, so nothing is guaranteed, however I definitely would like to get this project going if I can get people to make me some good photographs of the Generation 2 sets from different angles for the sprites

Question, can any of the ZDoom engines (like Zandro) use vector images? If so, using the old Templar MNOG graphics in the Doom engine shouldn't be out of the question.

 

(I know nothing about Doom modding so I'm hoping someone can help me out here)

I knew it because the Lego store employees at my location let me in on the secret that Bionicle was being discontinued. They got the email before we did, stating that a collection of themes, one being bionicle, were set to be cancelled by the end of the year and that they weren't going to stock the summer sets. It was so bad that even they had to RETURN their summer wave stock of bionicle sets. It's so sad I look in the back room of the lego store and see where the bionicle products were supposed to be stored, with a piece of paper with the old bionicle logo as an indicator, now cold and lifeless. I tried to warn the masses about the cancellation but I was repeatedly told I didn't know what I was talking about. I suppose that's fine though, I understand G2 was not as bad as some made it out to be safe they hoped it was going to go on but we all had to face the music some way or another. Maybe they are just fine tuning bionicle for another relaunch in the future.

G2 definitely doesn't take place in an alternate universe but that's alright

Though I do see what you're saying, it doesn't have to necessarily be tied to just Christian faith it can be based off of more exotic types of religion. I just wanted to point out the demons of Makuta.

The legend of Okoto may have ended early, though what was set out to do has been done. I wanted to take a look at the mythology of G2. Firstly, I must say that Ekimu is God in the universe while Makuta represents the Devil. Ekimu is regal and bright blue while Makuta has demon horns on his mask and is a dark purple. He became jealous of the praise the Okotans gave Ekimu and he wanted to take over the world for himself. Makuta spawned demons and undead creatures to attack the knightly toa. Ekimu is on paradise while Makuta lives in the dark underworld. What does anyone else think about this?
