  1. IC (Jin) Who the karz was this kid? I waved my arm vaguely in the direction of the Citadel. "They're over there, in that tower. I'm just running to get reinforcements, but I'll join you in a sec! Go get 'em!" IC: Razsk He nodded, calling, "Thanks!" as he turned and set off at a run in the direction of the Citadel.
  2. IC: Razsk Razsk hears someone running on the wall. Looking up, he sees Jin jogging down it. "Hey!" he calls. "Where are all the bad guys? I thought there was a huge battle here and I can't find anyone."
  3. IC: Jalkron As unexpected as the attack was, Jalkron had just enough time to thicken his armor on his back, hoping to lessen the impact. He was not expecting spikes, however, and his scream wasn't entirely from pain, more from shock. With his last elemental energy, he absorbs the tips of the spikes inside him, causing him to fall to the floor. He lays there, and slowly descends into the depths of unconsciousness.
  4. IC: Razsk Razsk walks around Ko-Koro, looking for attackers. OOC: Razsk open for interaction. Please?
  5. OOC: Sorry about that. I've RPed on the Lego Message boards for over a year, and I'm used to that level of power. I'm not sure if there is one character in that RP, other than matoran, who would not be over powered here. I'll tone it down and edit my post.
  6. IC (Rorg) My knife jumps, a movement quickly echoed by the launcher in my other hand; this is doubtless the result of the Toa's elemental abilities. However, before he can gather enough concentration to entirely rip them from my grasp, Eisen acts, and nullifies his power over Iron before sending the Toa hurtling back against a wall. The Toa gets to his feet, appearing to struggle, then launches a series of attacks at Eisen while constructing a large hammer to wield. It appears he has forgotten there are other opponents, so, while his concentration is on my ally, I fire a zamor at him. It is curious, noting how much elemental energy he has. He attempted to attack Echelon outside the Citadel, and I believe he is the one responsible for sealing my rifle. He has created and absorbed dozens of metallic items and objects, and manipulated metal to create shields and weapons. At this stage of the battle, and knowing his penchant for such obvious and taxing attacks, it would not surprise me to see his elemental energy run completely dry. IC: Jalkron Jalkron, watching the other toa of iron, barely notices the skakdi firing something at him. He dives out of the way, barely avoiding the zamor. He uses his staff to help him stand, considering for a moment whether or not to change it into some other weapon. Better not, he decides. My energy is almost gone, and if I keep getting hit then I'll need it to help me stand. He stands upright, making sure that none of the other's are pointing anything at him. He crouches into a fighting stance, and waits, watching each of the group.
  7. IC: Razsk Razsk approaches Ko-Koro, his breath misting in the frigid air. "Why couldn't they have attacked somewhere warmer, like Ta-koro or anywhere else on this island?" he mutters to himself as he climbs. By now he can hear the sound of battle clashing in the distance, and the Koro comes into view. Spotting the gaping hole where the gates used to be, he picks up his pace, grabbing his hammers as he does so. OOC: Razsk open for interaction.
  8. OOC: Sorry, I didn't know that. IC: Jalkron gasps as the breath is driven from his lungs. He struggles to his feet, leaning heavily on his staff and glaring at Eisen. When he gets his breath back, he says, "Another toa of iron. I'd say it's nice to meet another one like me, but it isn't." Thick metal poles appear right behind him, then bend downwards, less than a second from crashing into the top of Eisen's head as Jalkron's staff morphs into a large war hammer.
  9. OOC: Not sure if anyone else has said anything, but just want to point out that a character's weapons and equipment are considered an extension of the character in question, and cannot be broken/changed, etc. without the permission of the controlling player. I'm also a little uneasy about Jalkron being able to bind three people at once, but I'll leave a call on that to a more senior player. IC: "Evidently not," Nika said to this Jalkron. "Now, if you want us to survive the next few minutes, you'll do well to listen to me." He moved to the edge of the crude shelter, risking a brief glance at the opposition. He couldn't get a good look at the scene, but it was clear that of Echelon's group, the Skakdi, the cloaked Toa, and the brute had remained, the rest apparently having moved on with their objective. The chances that the objective was the acquisition of Korzaa and the termination of Pae and Jin were high. In another life, Nika would have fallen back and tried to find a more well-placed path to his destination. Not today. He didn't have time today. He looked back at his three new companions, his voice lowering to barely a whisper. "Priority is to get past this guard and to Captain Korzaa. One Skakdi, appears to specialize in long range attacks. One Toa, possibly Iron or Magnetism, unknown Kanohi. One unknown species, massive, heavily armed. I might be able to distract them for a moment or two, but I'll need you, Jalkron, to keep them busy long enough for us to get past. Can you do that?" -Void OOC: My bad, then Jalkron just yanked them away. IC: Jalkron nods, whispering, "Consider it done. On three I'm gonna absorb this shelter and create blocks of iron above them. That's when you run. One...Two...Three!" The shelter disappears and metal blocks appear above Echelon and his allies. Immediately after Jalkron creates fist-fulls of metal darts, which he hurls at the group.
  10. Thick metal bands come out of the floor, twining around Rorg and binding him in place. His weapons warp, becoming unrecognizable in seconds. The same happens to the others with him. Jalkron smiles to himself as they struggle to free themselves. It is never wise to try and sneak up on someone wearing an Arthron, he thinks to himself.
  11. IC: Jalkron slides down the wall and lands next to Nika, warping the metal of the wall to provide them cover. He whipsers, "Jalkron, Toa of Iron. You with him?" Jalkron nods in the direction Echelon went. OOC: Sup Emissary.
  12. Jalkron runs over to the doors of the sanctum. He begins to absorb the metal, making a gap big enough for any to enter. He also absorbs the block of metal sitting in the hallway. With a good part of his power restored, Jalkron makes another staff and runs into the sanctum, following the dark toa.
  13. OOC: It seems that you missed this Ghostands.
  14. OOC: I did settle things with Delilah in a PM. Jalkron was shot in the arm and Rorg's gun was capped. I'm fine with your moves too, as Jalkron has almost know resistance to mental powers at the moment. IC: As Echelon walks into the Sanctum Jalkron begins capping any wounds with metal, sealing the wounds in the only way he can. This takes only seconds, and once he is done he turns back to the dark toa. A block of metal forms behind Echelon, nearly twice as tall as he. The bottom of the slab is uneven, so it immediately begins to fall towards him. At the same time, Jalkron creates little balls of metal right where Echelon is about to step. The effort from all this tires Jalkron, and his wound begins to throb catching his attention again. He remembers that there is still a bullet in his arm, and quickly uses his power to use the metal to fix his armor.
  15. OOC: @ Vezok's friend and ghosthands IC: Jalkron realized that Rorg's shot had disrupted his jump, he was going to land too far from Echelon to hit him. So he tucked and rolled, absorbing his staff to keep it from getting in the way. He comes up out of the roll, already forming his staff again. Jalkron creates a block of metal, about 1 foot cubed, above Echelon's head. He quickly looks around at the others in front of the sanctum. One is facing the door with a look of concentration on her face. Jalkron reaches out with his control over metal and finds that the lock is opening. He quickly warps the gears and mechanisms, bringing them to a screeching halt. Hoping he is still unnoticed, Jalkron changes his staff into a hammer and approaches the Vortixx stealthily.
  16. OOC I specifically stated Rorg aimed for his chest, not his arm. Being in midair, there's not much he could do to dodge it, so I'll take it Jalkron now has a bullet in his lung? I'll wait for confirmation before I edit an IC into this post. OOC: My bad. I was thinking it was his arm for some reason. Although Rorg would have a hard time hitting his chest from any angle except somewhere in front of Echelon, and it seemed to me that he was somewhere behind him. That is where Jalkron was jumping and from there Rorg would not be able to hit his chest head on. He would be most likely to hit his back or arm. So tell me where Rorg is standing in relation to Echelon and I'll change my post if needed.
  17. IC: Jalkron feels a sharp pain in his arm and uses his mask to see what happened while the pain increases, as he is becoming more aware of it. It hurts to move his arm too much, but he doesn't have time to think about that, as he is in the air and already swinging his hammer. He settles for sealing the rifle and waiting to deal with the bullet inside of him later.
  18. IC: Jalkron saw the toa of gravity fall. His eyes narrowed, and the end of his staff elongates, becoming thicker and wider until it is a war hammer nearly as tall as Jalkron himself. He eyes the guy who seems to be in charge, and makes a decision. He creates a piece of metal that extends from the roof of the building he is on, then, silent as a breeze, jumps off the roof, over the chasm, about to land just behind Echelon. He times his swing so that his hammer will hit the side of Echelons torso just before he lands, with only the wind whistling past him to give him away.
  19. IC: Jalkron watches the toa of gravity fall. His eyes narrow, and the end of his staff elongates, becoming thicker and wider until it is a war hammer nearly as tall as Jalkron himself. He creates a piece of metal that extends from the roof of the building he is on, then, silent as a breeze, jumps off the roof behind the toa's attacker, swinging his hammer over around and aiming to hit the side of his torso, with only the wind whistling past him to give him away.
  20. Jalkron perches on top of a building, only his eyes visible to all fighting in the streets below. He scans the area, looking for anyone who needed help or an enemy who was going unnoticed.
  21. IC: Jalkron decides to go inside the koro, and so he skirts the battle at the gate and quickly walks to the side. Using his mask, Jalkron manages to detect a fault in the wall of the koro, far from the battle. He creates a metal wedge and drives it into the fault. Once it is in as far as he can push it, he thickens the end of his staff and swings it at the wedge, driving it all the way into the ice. Using his control of metal he causes the wedge to grow, widening the crack. Jalkron repeats this process making the crack bigger, until it is big enough for him to wriggle through. As he emerges on the other side, he returns his staff to normal and absorbs the wedge. Using the excess metal, Jalkron reseals the hole, and the metal on the outside is soon covered by snow. Now inside, Jalkron heads towards the sounds of battle, absorbing bits of metal on his way so he will be near full power upon his arrival. OOC: Jalkron is open for interaction.
  22. Jalkron approaches the koro, stealthily nearing the attackers. He blends in almost completely with the white ground, as his cloak is cover in snow. He activates his kanohi, trying to see what is going on by the gate.
  23. Jalkron creates iron spikes on his feet to keep him from moving, then creates several long spikes and drives them deep into the ground, fusing Mortem's shackles to them. "Like I said, you are not getting away. Anyone who attacks a hospital deserves to be locked in a cramped, damp cell for the next hundred millennia. You are no exception, at long as I have a say in the matter, which I do." Jalkron looks over at Kellin. "I'm headed back to the city. Make sure he sleeps for a long time." With that Jalkron runs for the koro, absorbing his staff to free his hands.
  24. Jalkron nodded. "It would be my pleasure." Iron shackles form around the Vortixx's wrists and ankles, so that he would be unable to move quickly. The toa of iron then turned and started to fill in the hole in the wall of the hospital, absorbing the shards to give him plenty of energy. This gave Mortem his chance to escape, which he took. As he walks away however. He is yanked backwards by his shackles until he is hanging upside down in front of Jalkron. The toa had an amused expression on his face. "You really think you could escape from me? I wear an Arthron, give up now, it'll save both of us a lot of trouble that won't change anything." Jalkron lets go of the chain and Mortem falls to the ground.
  25. OOC: sorry, didnt know that. IC: After the shards have landed, Jalkron turns all their sharp ends towards the vortixx and every last shard flies up at him as Jalkron approaches, spinning his staff in one hand.
