Toa Azarius

"Time out" he said, puzzled by the gash in her armor. "Hmm, that shouldn't have happened, my blades were set to stun. The moment they connected with a living target they should have passed through, shocking you instead of cutting you. Strange...."

He activated his Kakama and used it to shorten the distance between him and Ranir until he was right on top of her. He drew both his blades, and did a whirlwind slash. OOC: No, the attack has nothing to do with actual whirlwinds, it just a fancy name for when he spins around really fast with his blades to shred through armor.

IC: Azureus The first arrow missed, giving Azi enough time to slice the second one in half. He quicky got up on Kanonu's roof, and kicked the crossbow out of her hands.

OOC: ok, he heard you draw the knife and threw up a shield to defend when it eventually happened. Remember, this isn't just a Toa, but a hardened veteran of war. IC: Azureus He looked on top of Kanonu's house to see Ranir, crossbow in hand, ready to shoot. His brain kicked into overdrive, analyzing every single factor as to whether or not the shot would hit, and so far it wasn't looking good for him. He drew his blades and hoped he would be fast enough to either slice the arrow in half, or to outrun it.

IC: Azureus Azi fell to the ground as he heard the all to familiar sound of a weapon being unsheathed. He quickly threw up an elemental shield around him to block the knife, while at the same time sent a 100 volt blast coursing through the ground around Ranir. OOC: better?

IC: Azureus He grabbed her foot and pulled her in close, delivering an electrified punch to her midsection, before speeding behind her and kicking her into the air.

IC: Azureus "Ok." He walked back over to where he stood originally and drew his blades. "Your move"

IC: Azureus "How so? I overheard that you came from somewhere dangerous right? So, let's just see how dangerous you are. Me and my old teammates used to train like this all the time. Trust me it'l be fun." OOC: yes I mentioned teammates, but they're not the ones you think. It's just a reference to my friends and a team we used to be in called the Toa Tokawa.

IC: Azureus Azi walked out into the middle of the street, with Ranir close behind. "I wanna test how good you are at fighting. So, what better way than an exhibition fight? Any advantage you have, you use, deal?" He said, holding his hand out for her to shake it. OOC: because why not?

IC: Azureus "Hey Ranir, could you meet me outside for a minute?"

IC: Azureus "Sweet. And Wasuka can do that same? Or something else?"

IC: Azureus Azi was both curious and skeptical of Ranir claimed teleportation. "Really? Prove it." He said, albeit a bit judgementally.

IC: Azureus "So what can you guys do exactly?" He asked Ranir and Wasuka, "cause you look like Ba and Bo-Toa with the armor colors."

IC: Azureus "Coming right up!" He said cheerfully. He opened up both canisters and poured Ranir a glass of Ale, and Kanonu a glass of the energy drink. Putting the Ale and Kane-Ra down, he picked up the moonshine, and poured two glasses of it. He took one glass and slid it across the table over to Wasuka. "Order up" Azi said as he took a sip out of the other glass.

IC: Azureus Based on the fact that the Araka was staring off into space for a good thirty seconds, Azi quickly figured out that Wasuka lived in a sad, sad world where people had no idea what alcohol and energy drinks were. "Your loss." Azi said with a grin, "now, what did you guys want?" He said, turning to Ranir and Kanonu.

IC: Azureus "Oh, hey Wasuka." Azi said, peering around the corner, "I'm making drinks for everyone. I got Ale, Moonshine, and a can of Red Kane-Ra. What do you want in your drink?"

IC: Azureus Azi tossed and turned a little bit, trying to get back to sleep. He woke up around the same time as Ranir, but Azi was never really a morning person, so he just slept in. Realizing that getting up was inevitable, Azi decided to just get it over with. "But who said I couldn't start the day off with a little fun?" He thought as a devilish grin crept onto his face. Azi quickly got up, grabbed his backpack, and went over to a table. He pulled out three separate canisters, one of Steltian Ale, another of Red Kane-Ra, and a third simply labeled 'Moonshine' "I'm making morning shots for everyone. Who wants what in their drink?" He said to Kanonu and Ranir, cracking open all three canisters. OOC: well, this is gonna end well....

OOC: at this point, even I'M just gonna forget this happened and go with Tarn and Aegis' version. IC: Azureus Azureus stepped out of this house and walked over to the bay, Trying to clear his head. He knew something was wrong with him, but he couldn't figure it out. His memory was all fuzzy for some reason. He could still remember people, experiences, but actual locations were blanked out, just not there anymore. "Might as well sleep on it." He said, walking back. He walked back into the house, pulled the blankets up over him, and slept.

Before people go crazy, (though I wouldn't see why) I'm asking why do they exist, when you could do the same things with a normal Kanohi. Ok, maybe not fully with a Kaukau, or a Miru, but the other four masks such as the Akaku, or a Kakama, could through either intense training, or through modification to allow for those abilities. But for the sake of the theory, let's go with the training. The best example for me to use would be the two masks that are based around physical attacks/fitness instead of mental/other, which would be the Kakama, and the Pakari. Starting off with the Kakama, it's description says that it let's the user 'move at incredible speeds', just as the description for the Nuva, the only difference being that the Nuva can let you vibrate your atoms to phase through objects, and that you can see where you going much clearer. Now, if the Kakama Nuva was an actual upgrade from the original that can go a little faster, then wouldn't you be able to do the same things with any plain old Kakama? The way I see it, if the Kakama Nuva can supposedly go x amount of times as fast as the normal one, then wouldn't it just take training yourself to go that many times faster? As for being able to see more clearly, that could be fixed either by having their eyes rebuilt to be able to see at high speeds, or by use of adaptive armor (I think) Onto the Pakari, it's the same priniple, but it's also different, because instead of running as fast as you can, your hitting something as hard as you can. The same logic still applies though, if the Pakari Nuva can hit something x times harder than the normal Pakari, then you'd need to train to eventually get to hitting x times harder. You wouldn't be no One Punch Toa, but you'd still be able to hit harder, depend on how hard you would train. The same formula applies to the other four masks, which still begs the question, why did Artahka deliberately waste protodermis of making the Kanohi Nuva, when they weren't even needed in the first place? There are currently two possible answers I can think of: 1. Artahka knew it would take a long time for the Toa to continuously level up their masks, and that Makuta could sabotage the training, so he made them as an easy way out of sorts. 2. The Lego Team made them because they needed a story for 2003, so they gave us another "find the power up, beat the baddie" copout. Feel free to add to my theory.

OOC: look, I'm sorry for most of the shenanigans that I've caused. Azi is a character that comes from a place that the lore says doesn't exist. So I've been trying my hardest to find loopholes and exceptions in the lore and the game that would let me get away with it, but I've clearly overstepped my boundaries. But I think I have a way that where both lore, and loopholes can be improved. A Topic where people can suggest ideas and have them be added to the lore, minor and major. I really think that this could help out the thread. IC: Azureus Azi couldn't take the thought of him hurting his friends anymore. Activating his Kakama, he ran as he could before stopping on the rooftop of a nearby building, where he stayed till the sun came up, not closing his eyes once.

OOC: I actually did read up on the story, and it said that Makuta was placed in the Legend. Also, I never said he died, I just said it seemed like his downfall was a little too easy. Need I remind you that this IS Makuta we're talking about? That same Makuta that plans for every detail, every setback, every being down to the last Protodite? Who's to say that this wasn't part of the plan? As for the other Makuta? Well, he had to some from somewhere! Who to say Mata Nui didn't have some cousins, or distant relatives? Finally, to end it off, Azi is a traveller. He goes where he wants, and usually finds trouble. most of the things I write down are either scenarios of these exploits, or his fragments memories of his past. Edit: plus, unless I actually said they got up and started doing some kind of action, I was not puppetting them. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, in this case the action being my character waking up from a nightmare, the rector being fear and panic.

OOC: This happened later, there was supposed to be a timeskip.... I'll make a quick edit to it though...

IC: Azureus Perspective: First Person/Third Person Later that night.... "It's dark.... I can't see anything... where am i?" Suddenly the lights flared on. "Who's there?" He looked around, until he saw a cloak figure. He soon realized where he was. He was in a lab. Not just any lab though, the lab where he spent most of his time strapped down into a chair and experimented on by a madman in a cloak. He remembered it all, every serum, every virus, every time he got taken apart and rebuilt without being numbed. The being turned to him, and started walking closer, closer, with a maddened, twisted smile being the only thing he could see behind that cloak, along with a pair of dead lifeless eyes."No... Not again... Not Again! NEVER AGAIN!!!! Azi awoken with a cry, drawing both of his blades. He quickly looked around. He saw his right blade was just above Wasuka's throat, who looked as though she was about to faint, while the one in his left was an inch away from Kanonu's heartlight. He saw fear, panic, and dread in Kanonu's eyes. He quickly sheathed both of his blades. "S-Sorry about that. Just had a nightmare." He told them, hoping he didn't just harm his friends OOC: NO I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE GREAT BEINGS EXIST. This is why I chose to have the being cloaked, meaning we don't see any distinct features, meaning it could be anyone. , it could be a freaking Makuta under there and we'd never even know. And yes I said 'A Makuta' instead of 'The Makuta'. That's because I still think that Makuta was taken out too easily, that he might still have something, or someone, that he has access and communication to out there, that there might be more Makuta that he's wait to use as his Ace in The Hole....

IC: Azureus "There was another thing, a name. Hahli called her name, Macku I think." He said as he shrugged, "oh well, might as well sleep on it I guess." He said, jumping up, "now, which one is mine?"
