Eh, fix Lewa. Legolas was a Mirkwood Elf, so think deep, dark jungle. Lewa would be Legolas, and Kopaka could be Faramir (Pohatu could be Boromir, in that case).

 

Good point. But I think that Kopaka would be Boromir, then Pohatu would be Faramir...

 

 

Umarak puts on the MoCo, and his individual will is lost in the mask's/Makuta's. It's the mask that controls the wearer, and not the other way around. I guess that makes the MoCo a quasi-version of the One Ring.

Jk, but I like this theory. His whole 'seizing of the mask then becoming freaking Titan Beast' was very One-Ringish.

If we were to extend the G2/LotR parallels, I think the Mask of Ultimate Power would be the One Ring. It has all of the elemental powers, making more powerful than any other mask? Oh yeah, it's the One Ring. The MoCo and MoCr are more like those lesser rings.

Now, I've seen that there are many topics on your "Favorite Bionicle Character" and such, but I haven't yet seen a Favorite Toa Team topic yet. (If there is one, call me out on it)

Anyway, this topic is exactly what the title say's; What's Your Favorite Toa Team Throughout All of Gen1? It can be a team from the entirety of Gen1; the Mata/Nuva, The Hagah, the Cordak, whichever.

My personal favorite team was/is the Toa Inika/Mahri, but mostly the Inika. Now, I by no means an experienced Bionicle fan, but I love the Inika storyline. And I also loved how all of the Toa Inika had previously been Matoran we've known from the very beginning, and seeing Jaller finally a Toa was very rewarding to me. And set wise, they were REVOLUTIONARY. New building style, tons of new pieces. Sure, there was no gear system, but hey, you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.

So, what's your favorite team?

Honestly, like everyone else, it is perfectly plausible that the Matoran would develop romantic feelings for each other after prolonged exposure to the Agori culture. Sure at first, if their new Agori friend starts talking about old flings he had when he was younger, they'd be like, "What the heck is he talking about?" But give it time, they'd figure it out. The Matoran are a very adaptable species. All they were meant to do was be the maintenece crew of The GSR, and nothing more, but after a few thousand years or so, we get Metru Nui. And before Greg (curses) decanonized HewkiixMacku (I ship it all the way) love was seen as something completely normal. So yeah, I believe that the Matoran population could develop romantic feelings for each other, if you give it time.

(Great. Now I'm gonna start writing a HewkiixMacku fanfic. Darn it.)

OOC: Okay, what happened: Skakdi attacks bar. Bar patrons, including bar owners, escape. Skakdi sticks sword through bartender. Orderin and Poraku take down Skakdi, while destroying most of the bar. There's the condensed version of the battle.

IC: "Yes, the bartender is in the hospital-nice to see you care, Kaen-but everyone else escaped relatively unscathed, I think."

IC: *Poraku turns to Kaen, then looks around.*

"Yeah...where is everybody? They should be here helping clean up their own place."

OOC: AAAAAAAAND I'M BACK.

IC: Poraku heard a some skittering under a table. He lifted it up, and a tiny bio-rat scrambled out from under the rubble.

"Huh. This place must not be healthy anyway. Good thing it got destroyed."

I would not be expecting it, because I just joined last week.
