2009 information is allowed there, finally. Whee. =D Having said that, perhaps they should figure out a way of dividing Bara Magna information from Matoran Universe information, and create a set of categorisation templates for Glatorian, Agori, etc.

I've survived a month of the equivalent of at least one entry a day, and well-and-truly overshot the target of 30.

Now what? A daily entry about a Radiant Dawn character and why that particular character is win (or otherwise)?

Just give me some time to get up to speed on various stuff, K? I'm still really tired from sitting in the car for about 14 hours. In the meantime, some thoughts:
What is this 'drought' of which the Australian government speaks? Everything in South Australia was ridiculously green. It is a CRIME that they don't sell honey-flavoured ice cream anywhere but in South Australia. There's a seriously epic LEGO shop in Adelaide, which stocks sets from as far back as the '80s! For the record, that's where I got my Tunnel Transporter early last year. The narrator of those new Glatorian films on BIONICLE.com makes my ears bleed, as do his pronunciations. Also, "Glatorians"? That sounds so lame. Screw Bionicle; LEGO Star Wars is the epic now. I NEED that AT-TE set. A film's awesomeness is magnified with special features on the DVD.

One of my friends moved to Melbourne.

Now I've got no-one to discuss Fire Emblem with.

On a lighter note, it's DudeNuva's birthday today! Yay for that!

...And that makes two of BZPower's three most awesome spriters who have commented here. That just leaves RahiZaku, but it's not like that's happening ever.

In other news, I think I have a name for that kit I keep showing off.

And this entry will be half-heartedly dedicated to shameless plugs!

Firstly, I've finally updated the MOCkery. Click or burn!

Second, as an update on that Keetorange Dlakii situation, I've come up with a better design with the black not-so-obvious, using two parts I can't believe I overlooked: Keetorange Metru feet.

Look at this... (the posts, not the topic itself)

Those people comparing Bionicle character's deaths to 9/11 (or 11/9 as I think of it)... It's Matoro all over again... :annoyed2:

I don't get it. People are death-threatening a staff member who they'll likely never meet... just because he was a little harsh about a toy.

I said I was going to refurbish this blog entirely, right? True, I'm about six months overdue with said refurbishment, but better late than never!

And now, I give you... my refreshed and Mudkippified blog!

Having said that, today (at least, in MY timezone) happens to be my 15th birthday. Even better, tomorrow I will be receiving Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the ONE game that I've been happily anticipating for the past two years! Fire Emblem for the Wii... it can't get better than that!

More details as the event unfolds.

Obviously, it's drawing near, and with it, the 2009 Bionicle story. Speaking of which, my opinions on them have actually changed to some extent, some good, some bad.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Firstly, the sets. My opinion on them hasn't changed much; in fact, for the most part, they look somewhat worse in detail. I think I've complained about the flaws of each enough. While on the subject, Tuma looks absolutely abysmal now that I can see his torso clearly, as does Fero and Skrimir. For some reason, though, I'm kind of drawn to purchasing them, particularly Vorox. Knowing me, though, once I get one, I'll want to purchase the rest. Also, I've just heard about a new neck piece implemented, an unbent variant on the Hordika necks, which is always a good thing. In short, if I get them at all, it'll be when they're on sale, perhaps late next year.
I've been hearing a fair bit about the story lately. From what I've heard, it actually sounds pretty good. True, it doesn't sound as good as the 01-08 story, but hey, they could've botched it so much. In fact, the story's successfully retained my interest, and a factor in my vague interest in the sets.

Also, the new comic artist, Mhan. His work thus far is AWESOME. Not quite Sayger's fluidity of motion, not quite Gallagher's epic detailing, but a nice interim.

    Warning: Set spoiler!

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «OH DEAR GOD NO PLEASE TELL ME THAT'S NOT A ZAMOR LAUNCHER I SEE AGAIN SPIKE BALLS GAH :annoyed2:
Hey, is that a set in TAN?
    RECYCLED TORSOS OHES NOES
On the other hand, those small sets have some really interesting recoloured parts.
On the other other hand, THOSE SMALL SETS LACK RECOLOURED PIECES.
WHAT IS UP WITH THOSE SMALL SET HEADS? :annoyed2:

In short, it's possibly a good thing I don't really plan to buy any sets next year. Some of it looks good, but other aspects... On the plus side, it's not as if they're butchering any pre-loved characters like with the Toa Inika, Mahri and this year's Nuva.

Note: not flaming the sets; that was for emphasis.

OK then. Time to bring back a blog that fell into disrepair a month ago. Just one pointer: Listen to Bearmon. See that box marked "Bearmon Says..."? Pay attention to what he has to say, OK?

Secondly, the school year in Australia started this week. This may slow down the Comic Emporium a bit, so don't expect comics to come quickly.

Speaking of which, the Emporium currently has an all-new look to it (No, not a BZP skin ). Check it out and prepare to be awed by the incredible power of Photoshop!

Thirdly... well, nothing. Besides that I might add a box called "Patamon Says...".

    Now ending really boring entry...

Ladies, gentlemen, small blue furry things...

What? That's the way to start an entry.

Anyway, I place this blog entry in commemoration of a milestone, one long in production. After one year and eleven months of comic making (possibly more or less), I have finally made exactly one hundred and fifty (150) comics!

Don't believe me? Look at this tally.

Still don't believe me? Read 'em yourself, in this topic.

In other news, I intend to give this bloggy of mine a bit of an overhaul later this month. It won't remain boring forever.
