I like this one. (Of course, you know I've read it before
) Haunting, vivid, emotion-drenched. And somehow, even though I don't know his name or what he's fighting for, I feel like I know him as a brother. Well done.

Oh, sigh. I love it - but why does it have to be so sad?? As always though, brilliant writing. I like the premise too - a cartwright struggling through the mud...good work, JG.
