  5. Yes, I like the Dwarves, too. If you look over at my interests there is a description of how I used Gloin and my custom to raze their base. I haven't tried it against goblins.

  6. I try to play defensively and then build up a large army and attack them at one time. Goblin's Only pikemen is more expensive, so I usually start with cavalry and then make infantry a little later when they start getting marauders

  7. I really like the Angmar faction. It's really fun, even if it's not accurate to lore.

  12. Well, the way my brain works, it makes it easier.

  13. They won't have longer vision to the north and south than the east and west that way. It will also make it easier to make the AI.

  14. It won't take a lot of work. I think it's worth it, and once I convert it it will be much easier to do the rest of the game.

  15. I'm thinking of changing it to a 3d engine with 2d sprites. That way I can just use a fake z, y and x coordinates and use them to calculate the distance. I have a formula for calculating distance, so it should be fine.

  16. The thing is, that will create a perfect circle on the screen, so if the "camera" is at an angle pointing down, it won't work right.

  17. I mean how far away from the unit (or structure) can be revealed.

  18. Right. If it collides with a unit inside the ellipse it will show that unit.

  19. I mean how far each unit can see, and making it an iso circle around them, etc.
