Do a reset. Back to Mata Nui, back with a Hau, Akaku, etc. Save money on making new names, give us a wave of nostalgia. Then change things up, play with the villains, play with our expectations.

I bought the Market Place set a few years ago. It's a cool set. I've used it as bookends several times over the years, haha. Since being reunited with a portion of my Lego collection I've built another building in the modular style and currently have a small street for my Avengers sets to do epic battle. All said, I kinda would like another modular set. Sadly, financial priorities don't permit such a purchase.Shame, really.

Haha, nice find. So I suppose on some planet in the DC 'verse is Mata Nui, then?Always cool to see Bionicle referenced in other media, even if it was eleven years ago.

No.... not more work...Ah well. Enjoy your blogs, kids! =P

The first time I bought those 'figs I was given two random ones by the shopkeeper. Both, both of them were the circus ringmaster. No, just no.

Dude, that thing's gorgeous. Anyone got an extra $200?

Happy Birthday Iron Man.
You both get 42 Spiffpoints to be spent/brought up at a later date.Happy birthday Mr. Stark! -Gata
Would you believe it that once upon a time I was tempted to remove 'em?Happy birthday, staffie of dashes and underscores!
I am rather hard to give up. You know how it is.Happy birthday TMD (why does that sound like a drug )!
Aaaand, done. =PThanks ya'll. I'd say 'you too', but, well, you know how it is.TMDHappy birthday! Hopefully you can have fun doing cool stuff only 21-year-olds can do. ~B~

Because we all know how well those adaptions of children's toys turn out.

Not conciously. I was sitting on the floor fiddling with the 'figs and thought: "y'know what would make a great hairpiece?"Most of my Lego's packed away somewhere so I don't have most of my collection and had to make do. Fortunately, it turned out perfectly. Whadaya know.TMDWere you inspired to use that hair by this image?

*fistbump*On a side note, I'd like to offer my sincere thanks to TMD for applying the stickers on these sets. It's always frustrating for me to read a review where the stickers are never applied.
Having seen the movie... more than a few times... it's safe to say that beyond the 'figs and Space Jet Ski, there's not much else that really pertains. Not to say it's not a good set.TMDHm, I like the color scheme. Captain America was always one of my favorites. I'm sure I'll love the set more when I actually see the movie.

I got it from the weightlifter in the 2nd series of collectible minifigs. You can see a full list of sets in comes in on Peeron here,TMDHey TMD, what set did the hair piece you gave tony stark come from? I've been trying to make the minifig from my loki's cosmic cube escape look good without the helmet but it needs hair....

He wants another.Love civilian Thor with the coffee mug. Man I love Thor.
Oof, good catch. I did do a cursory inventory check for the bracket piece, but I found the other one (where the studs are up and the brackety part is hanging down) by mistake. My bad, dude.As for the staff, well, I suppose I assumed too much. But see, this is why we keep you around: catch my mistakes. =PThanks man.TMDIf you're at all uncertain about whether parts are new, a quick check on Bricklink can reveal it. In this case, neither of the two brackets have "been around for a while"-- they are both new to this year, and in fact both of them made their physical debut in this wave of Marvel Super Heroes sets (they had previously appeared in January's LDD update).Later on in the review, though this is a more minor issue, only one of Loki's staff pieces (the Sai) is from the Ninjago theme. The other (the main staff) has only ever appeared in the Pharaoh's Quest theme before this one.

I mean, we all knew there was pretty much no chance of it getting the get go but still...

No, you don't ever change.

Does Duplo count? If so, I can't remember. If not, then I'm pretty sure it was the Sea Sprint 9, though I could be wrong, haha, it's been so long.TMD

I bought the Quinjet.Guys. It's friggin' awesome.TMD

Dude, very cool.Color scheme checks out; everything's nicely layered and all. Loving the horizontal Ruru as a head. Nicely done The Pahrak-shielf chest/hips looks great too. The gear details add a lot to it.The flag's also a really cool touch.Nicely done, good sir.TMD

Ah, Forum Mentoring. The days when reports flooded my inbox... Alas.Yeah, I like not having to constant clear it.
Now that I remember, it was exactly like that for me, too, probably even more than 45 reports. Those were the days, when there were so many reports every day. ~Gata.Ya'll wanna know what the first thing I did when I became a staff member? Clear through the forty-five e-mails that had piled up in the hours between my promotion and my checking.

And I have to put up with all of ya'll!But if I were to leave the blogs, I'd like to be forum staff in one of the general Lego discussion forums.
Even if it means having to put up with bfahome.Even if it means having to put up with Takuma.

I thought it was pretty funny.Though what kind of weirdo decides to be a Slippery Naked Guy? Man, some people...

I've always heard brasso works best too. I'm not sure how you use it, but I suppose to use the usual instructions with using it.It doesn't damage it, though, and I've seen cool MOC's as a result.
