I 100% agree with this. Unless it is a rebooted version of him and he has a good reason to be in the story. Then I might be willing to give him another chance in the new story. Can't he just open a portal, walk through and say hi, then leave? Just introduce him as the insane, interdimensional wizard from another universe. That'll go over well! Did you say 'Planeswalker'? 'Cause I read that as 'Planeswalker.

I'd love the homage idea, but honestly? This is like the Transformers Universes thus far - similar names and circumstances, different stories. Which is great. now, given personal reign, I wouldn't mind a redesigned Roodaka, or the Bahrag twins...

LOL these terms make me laugh as well. I just cant believe that this has happened with Bionicle. And yeah BS01 serves as a great way to catch up on anything you missed in Gen 1. In my previous post I kinds forgot to cover that and pretty much just covered Gen 2. Anyways are you planning on getting any of the new sets? Already picked up the Earth Protector and I tore him to bits to build a newish Turaga.

The aesthetics of the Toa are beefy, and remind me of the Knight's Kingdom characters almost. Still, I found and grabbed a Protector of stone, and lemme tell ya - that trans purple is delicious. Also, those new balljoint/cup parts are *amazing*. I wish they had a Silver Hau, but I guess I'll make due with a gold one re-painted.

There was a villager in the car, but being a happy meal toy might disqualify that. I build in the car if I am too impatient to wait until I get back home.

I'm an articulation fiend, as well as an aesthetic one - I can't help but joint and streamline all my sets, assuming they stay whole and don't wind up in various other things. I have a few 'Avatars' I have carried through the story and modified as the designs shift, but honestly the 'Toa' aspect of the character got a Metru body and kept it. The shoulders were swapped with the Friction pin/axle combo seen here: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32054 and mounted with the loose balljoints to give it functional shoulders.

Lemme toss this out now - The fact that Bionicle has a 'G1' and a 'G2' is never not going to be funny to me. I can't wait for Laser Rod Takanuva.

I wanted a hardcopy of the Album, but I never picked it up. D: I've got the Foam Tahnok-Kal shield from Legoland though, so there's that. I also have a Manuscript for City of the Lost signed by GregF that I won from here waayyyy back.

So I've been away from BZP since...well, since the Piraka. I have, as a result, missed out on most of the story since then, and now that we are getting a Reboot I figure it is as good a time as any to jump back in. What is the best way to get caught up on the current status of the story? Is Bionicle.com still viable for most updates or have other fansites popped up besides BZP?
