  1. I saw this and knew I had to put it somewhere. Won't fit in my sig, though. From here. torritorri :t:
  2. Summer School is actually fun! Well, it depends on what class you take, but I'm taking a Web Design class, and I'm posting from the computer lab we're working in right now. HTML=fun stuff. Anyways, I'm really busy over the summer, so I can't spend so much time online. Just saw the new (freakin' cool!!!!!) James Bond movie trailer. They're rebooting the movie series, and Daniel Craig looks like a good actor. But I will always think of Pierce Brosnan as "Bond. James Bond." so go see it!! Laterz! torritorri

    Oy....

OK, so I'm stuck in San Fran, 8 hours from home, and with barely no Internet access... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I completely missed S&T Contest 2. I could have written a story if I had known since the beginning of the contest, but this is the only time I'm going to have access to a computer for 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!! Well, I've got to go now. torritorri :t: *in the distance* No! Don't take me away! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. What a shame. Actually, Canada calls it soccer too, but that's beside the point. The US is currently ranked 5th in the world. Not anymore. See, the US team was actually *gasp* playing well the past few years. At the last Cup (in '02), the US made their best showing ever. What I'm trying to say is that in Monday's game, the team just wasn't themselves. I know they could've played much better. Oh well. The whole thing's moot by now anyways. We'll just see how the US plays in the next game (which they have to win to advance to the next round, incidentally). torritorri :t:
  5. Seriously, I was expecting something totally different in that game. What happened to the team in '02 that eliminated Portugal, made it to the quarterfinals, and lost a game by 1 point (against Germany, ironically) that it should've won? Team USA, no offense, was horrible against the Czechs on Monday. Their defense was nonexistent (seriously, how do you leave the tallest guy in the World Cup alone in the penalty area?) and the offense doesn't even deserve comment. See, this is what happens when Landon Donovan decides to stay in the MLS instead of playing real soccer. (Don't get me wrong. I like the MLS. I think it's cool. But if you want to be prepared to play against the big guns, the MLS just isn't the place.) torritorri
  6. Hey hey hey, I'm just figuring out the nuances of this new blogging ... um...thing. More to come later. torritorri

Hey, I actually got that sentence. And I only read it twice. Ahem. Anyways, at least you have languages. At my old school, we didn't have any language courses, and I wish they had ASL at my school. Oh, and that was very random. But cool. Randomness is good. torritorri :t:
