  2. Yah know that they were gonna make Imperial Republic Commandos, but it was cancelled for some reason.BTW which game was better: KOTOR 1 or KOTOR 2? Personally I think 1 has a better storyline but 2 has better gameplay.

I never played KOTOR 2 but I've seen plenty of it and played KOTOR 1, I honestly think KOTOR 2 would've ended up better if Obsidian hadn't been rushed in finishing it, all that dropped content is sad, but luckily the community is restoring it.
Obsidian also wanted to make something that could fix up the problems with KotOR2, but LucasArts pretty much said "Nope."But yeah. In terms of plot, I prefered KotOR1 over KotOR2. 2's was okay, but with it taking place so soon after the first one, and with so much... what's the right word... hopelessness(?) in the galaxy at that point in time. It just feels sort of beyond bleak for the Republic. The explanation for 1, isn't really needed.Gameplay wise: KotOR2, hands down. I swear, the weapon switch button helped me out on more than one occassion. And it didn't hurt to have the soundtrack readily available on the main menu.
  3. I'll be prepared for Christmas. I'll be smelling of pine needles, from selling Christmas trees and wreaths.Unfortunatly, some radio stations in my area sarted playing Christmas music now (practically the day after Halloween). I don't want to get sick of Christmas before Thanksgiving even hits. But I hardly listen to the radio until December anyways, so it all works out. Personally, I can't wait for all the Christmas movies and television specials.
  4. I can see the situations where they can be useful, but personally, I prefered the descriptions better. But it would be cool to have both implemented, with the description above the tags, and those two below the topic title.

  5. During the six month break, I took up the challenge of completing Mass Effect 2 on Insanity. Aside from the Praetorian (Should've remembered to bring the Cain onto the Collector Ship), and the early parts of the game (before upgrading the weapons), having a Level 30 character totally paid off. I 1000/1000 it as well (I lack XBL, so I can't access the DLC, which angers me, but I'll get over it. Eventually.).In my first playthrough (On Normal), I had all crew members survive. On Insanity, however, I pretty much made Jack go into Death's Arms. I'm not sure how bad that'll get me in Mass Effect 3, but no matter what, I will say only two words: Worth it.Also completed Mass Effect 1 on the Hardcore difficulty in a matter of days. I started up an Insanity playthrough (again, having the highest level character really pays off). I lost steam halfway through. But hopefully, before ME3's released, I'll have that completed as well. Not 1000/1000 (I would need a few more playthroughs because of the "Stasis, AI Hacking, etc." achievements), but I'll get that done soon enough. On an fun note, one of my friends from school also plays Mass Effect, regarding it as one of the Best Games ever (or that he's ever played. Either one, really). So that's cool to know.

  6. I actually think thus topic is a dupe. But since I can't link on my phone...

You were correct: I'm probably going to borrow MW3 from a friend for a week, to beat the campaign on Veteran. I am still in the process of completing Call of Duty 3 on veteran difficulty. The checkpoints, however, make me want to go and kill someone. So that's going by slowly. Does anyone know whether or not they'll give out cheats for intel?
  7. The Medal of Honor series had the most fitting music for it for the era it was based in. And who hasn't heard the original's first five notes? The music in that series is very fitting for the World War II era. Another series with some of my favorite music, is the Halo series. And who can forget "Psycho Mantis' Theme" from Metal Gear Solid 1? I don't think anybody here can forget that creepy theme. Speaking of creepy, Silent Hill 2's soundtrack can be eerily disturbing at times. "Red Pyramids" comes into mind.

  8. The person behind the creation of dynamite also created the Nobel Peace Prize.

In addition, Nobel originally intended dynamite to be used in mines, because the previous explosive ended up killing allot of miners. The dynamite was safer, as it didn't explode whenever it felt like. Just when someone lit a fuse, or pushed a plunger. -In the Halloween Spirit, the Irish originally carved faces onto turnips.
  9. I have the White Darth Vader PSP that came with Star Wars Renegade Squadron. I barely have any games for it though. But my favorite of the ones I do have has got to be Medal of Honor Heroes. I'm am planning on getting Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker for it... soon... eventually. But I seriously need ideas for games I should get for it. Any tips?

  10. I went to Boys State (That was Awesome), completed Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, actually manged to play Freedom Fighters, worked at the circus, became the Cadet/CMC for my NJROTC unit, became a Senior, completed Mass Effect 2 on Insanity, cruise other forums (majority of which gave me headaches), had a net gain of five kills per match in Homefront (what makes this significant is that I usually die 20 times before getting a kill in other games). What else, what else... I became addicted to music from the 1950s, played some Battlefront 2, and, of course, wait for the forums to come back online. All in all, nothing really out of the ordinary for me.
