Over the course of the past few weeks I finally finished my Silver version of Pokemon, and by finish I got all the Pokemon up to #488.

I have had my Pokemon Dream Team together for a while, and I had been talking with my friend Kiba about what our favorite Pokemon were. So he drew this for me in his spare time at work. Link

Then today; A day after White/Black came out, another friend from DeviantArt finally finished a picture I had commissioned for her to do.

Which art piece do you think is better, and what do you think of my choice of team.

My opinion on White so far? It makes me wish I was still playing Soul Silver, and not in a good way.

eBay is such a wonderful place. You should check it out some time.

You may notice that there are 2 missing. I'll have to take care of that later.

Just a few more Kanohi, Kanohi Nuva, those 2 Krana-Kal left. Then I guess I'll move onto Kraata, The Final Frontier!

How fun trading was. It's been so long since my last trade in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. So hopefully I can keep the fun rolling and obtain some awesome stuff.
Thinking about all of this re-kindkled the love I have for Bionicle. Which in turn makes me a tad sad that it's not around anymore.

Why haven't you made a BZP shirt design yet? Yes. I'm talking to you. Stop procrastinating!

    Thanks for reading, Raptor.

I know it's been a while, and I never did say much about BrickFair, but for those who went and I had the pleasure of meeting. I wanted to thank them.

I want to thank Friar Tuck, ToM Dracone, and his friend for letting me help by letting me room with them. They were really awesome to hang out with.

I want to thank Chocolate Frogs for driving me and others to various places.

I want to thank B6 for the Prototype mask and for the free Bionicle set.

I want to thank Emperor Whenua for helping me with the BZP shirts.

I want to thank all the people I met and engaged in great conversation with, as well as helped me in anyway. I learned a lot about my fellow BZPers. Some good and some bad. *wink*

I have to admit in the beginning I felt pretty alone. I didn't really seem to fit in, but thankfully overtime others like Sisen and xccj let me hang out with them. Sorry if I was annoying.

I only hope that I get to meet everyone again and to have an even better time next year. If I can go of course.

Went through my OLD LEGO minifig collection today. I found some OLD Star Wars stuff, and even OLDER Lego themes that I can't even name. So I took some parts and made some fun minifig representations of myself.

    Version Uno
    Verison Uno (Raised Visor)

    Fun Version
I've had this custom since I was a kid. I changed the body though for the cool mechanical look.

What do you think? Should I add or change anything?

I had hoped to keep my opinion to my self about the current news and future of my most cherished toyline to myself, and it seems now it would be cared less about even now. But I've kept my thoughts and opinions bottled up for too long, and I feel I must say something.

First off. I was always fine with the thought of Bionicle ending, I knew it would some day. I was certainly ready in 2008 when it was said to be the last year. I was a bit down, but hey, it was a awesome ending and what I had always wanted. The Toa Nuva had returned to finally complete their task and awaken the great spirit Mata Nui, and right at the end a twist of fate occurred and evil triumphed despite the odds. I was blown away, and somewhat sad, but at the same time satisfied.

So going into 2009 was a somewhat odd start. A new planet and new species, but it was great for me because Mata Nui was now the main character. You know the one who for the last seven years had been the one thing that all of the Toa, Matoran, worked toward to save. So, awesome. We're continuing the saga and starting fresh at the same time. So you'd think this would one would last right?

What I'm getting to is that I'm not mad that Lego canceled Bionicle, it's when they canceled it. I just don't understand why in the middle or even at the beginning of the story, they just got up and left!

YES. I know that Greg has been kind enough to promise that he will continue to write and finish the story, and that the site will possibly be updated from time to time. That's one of the things I'm happy about coming out of this.

But as a fan of just about everything about Bionicle. Why is it that I'm not allowed to be sad about the loss of the sets, or have hopes that they may come back or to see that there could possibly be one more awesome set to end it all? Either I'm depicted as the whining adolescent, or the rock hard "mature" member who shoots down all hopes and possibilities.

Another thing I feel I must bring up is the movies. To me TRL was the best Bionicle movie I've seen, and exceeded all my expectations. It had some problems here and there, but it was awesome. It also had a HUGE cliffhanger at the end,(to me at least) and I was eager to see the sequels, to see the characters develop and further the story. Now that they're canceled, it leaves me with a whole new empty feeling. Like if George Lucas decided to try new things after the Empire Strikes Back, and abandoned the Star Wars movies to start another series. What kind of sense does that make?! I know that it would take a lot of money to make them, and that there wouldn't be any sets to advertise, but wouldn't at least making one sequel to wrap it up be a sensible thing to do? Wouldn't you think that since the first one was so good, that it wouldn't need new sets to support itself?

Don't get me wrong. I'm thankful for all that everyone at Lego has done, and also for the great work Greg has done. I'll never forget the memories Bionicle has given to me. It's just that these things keep irritating me constantly.

Well, that's all i can write as of now. Thanks for reading, and have a great day.

I think the co-op looks great, and I look forward to playing with robots as friends. I doubt I'll be disappointed, because I've never been disappointed by a Valve game before. They always have such great ideas for fun games

I'd like to be Atlas. He looks pretty darn cool.

I just hope I'll have friends who have the game for 360 when it comes out! >_>

From what I can tell. Breez 4.0 and Thornraxx haven't been released in the U.S.A. along with the other winter sets. I'm not complaining at all. I'm rather interested in why.

I looked up Thornraxx and Breez on the web, and they're on sale on LEGO Shop@Home in Europe, and I've seen video reviews of them. Usually the reviewer has a European accent. So I would assume that all the HF sets have been released in European countries.

My theories are that maybe they're going to be released in the summer. Like in 2005 with the Hordika, Visorak, and Titans. Maybe they'll be exclusives. Or I might find them in the store next week!

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks for reading, Raptor.
  9. Brappy Hour
Did you guys like the shirts?

Well..... I guess it's enough of a compliment if you bought one. I just wanted to know what others thought.

Well. I did my job. I made the BZP shirts. I brought them. people bought them, and people were happy.

I have ideas for next year already. Like do more important stuff. So people will remember me.

    Vapours Trail
    Part One

Professor Nathaniel Zib looked away from his work for a brief moment. He felt as though his main processor would explode. Even though Von Nebula and four of his henchbots had been captured, and a major threat had been lifted. There were still criminals to find, and crimes to stop.

One of these criminals was a bad bot named Vapour, who was said to be one of Von Nebulas remaining henchbots. Being affiliated with Von Nebula, Hero Factory HQ had decided to post him near the top of their most wanted list. Any information or sightings of Vapour were to be reported directly to Zib and Quaddle. Any remnants of Von Nebula’s threat had to be dealt with quickly.

Zibs holoscreen lit up with a similar light and sound that drew his attention quickly to an alert. “Well I’ll be” he said aloud. Quaddle glanced at him from his own station in curiosity. “ Vapour’s finally been spotted Quaddle. We need to send a Squad to capture him before we lose him.” Zib brought up the Hero grid to find the right squad for this mission. They would need to have experience with dealing with villains of this magnitude. His thoughts went directly to Alpha Team and the new Hero team lead by Furno. He brought up their team status’s hoping for good results. Furno’s team was currently on a mission, and Alpha Team had returned from a mission just over an hour ago. It seemed however that Dunkan Bulk had been recharged since then. “Quaddle?” Zib asked. “Do you think Bulk will be able to bring in Vapour by himself?” Quaddle gave a shrug in uncertainty, and waited for Zibs final decision. There was no choice. Vapour wouldn’t wait forever. “Fine. Bring Bulk here to be mission briefed. He’ll need to be refitted to deal with Vapours chemical weapons.” Quaddle quickly went to work readying the tech needed. “We need to hurry.” Zib said with a hint of desperation in his voice. “So this Von Nebula business can finally be put to rest.”

    Jet Jaguar

Jet Jaguar fought alongside Godzilla in Godzilla vs. Megalon. The best description of him is that he's a robot built by a child that can change sizes and fight. Well that sounds just plain silly. He also has a weird look to him, but that's because he was actually designed by a 10 (or younger, idk) year old for a design a character contest. So that's why Jet Jaguar's on the list. He's just a silly monster. Sorry to any Jet Jaguar fans!

    Yeah. Just got home.

Sorry I left early. Everyone else I was with wanted to go, and I had no say in the matter.

I was hoping to say goodbye to everyone, but no one was around. Did anyone even notice I wasn't there later today?

Anyway. I'll post pics tomorrow, and talked about other junk.

I'll let you get back to your Staff Member Slumber Parties now.

Well, more like avoiding it. Remember me and toa of life were dating? And we exchange lots of heart felt words, and I expressed how much I loved her?

Well she broke up with me.....

Seconed Look Used this for the later majority of time I've played.

Finally got my favorite helmet back. So glad it made it into Reach. Took a while to rank up, but the journey was fun and the reward is worth it.

Now to work toward a gold visor.

I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am!

Not too excited about Hero Factory from these pics, but I'm always excited about new figures.

    Hero's:
2.0 eh? Couldn't think of a Toa Nuva-ish name LEGO? Tisk tisk. You'll loose points for that.
I'm disappointed that Stringer and Bulk were shoved off to the sidelines. I liked them more than the other Heroes actually. I'm guessing we won't be seeing them next year even in the story. Stormers alright. He looks like a mini Kopaka. Evo and Nex look interesting. I think it's the first time black isn't around. But hey, purples back! After what, ten years?
The Rookies? Goodness. They look awful. How could they make such cool helmets in 2010, and make such ugly ones in 2011? Furno's got goggles, Surge looks like he's wearing headgear from a Jackal Sniper, and Breez looks like a medieval dark knight.

    Villains:
Like this year. The villains look much more fun to build. But also like this year, their names are uninspired. Jetbug. Lol. Reminds me of Stinkfly. Fire Lord isn't as cool as Von Nebula. Doesn't have that cool of a name either. (Even though Von Nebula is a silly name.) If you haven't noticed the theme for the baddies is fire. Just making sure.

Why are they still using Thornax Launchers?

That's my first impression. Opinion may change over time.
    Thanks for reading.

    Zilla

Zilla or American Godzilla was featured it the U.S. remake of Godzilla. All that this monster is, is a mutated giant Iguana, that's it. Some feel that this monster was so disappointing, that he didn't even deserve the title Godzilla. So Toho renamed the monster Zilla. Plus he was featured in Godzilla Final Wars, getting disintegrated in seconds by the real Godzilla. He's not that awful of a monster. He looks kind of cool actually. You'll see worse soon.

I guess next time we make a U.S. design of Godzilla, we should use some creativity.

Hello everyone. It's good to have BZP return. I sure hope everyone is doing well, and I hope everyone is also adjusting to the changes well.

Perhaps I could/should recall how my life has been, but I just wanted to say a quick hello.

My first day at BrickFair was awesome. I haven't had so much fun in such a long time.

    Highlights:

I had a blast meeting all the staff members and friends I knew from BZP before hand.

Bringing the shirts to the BZP spot. Moments later I was swamped with customers for them, (how exciting).

Speed building a Krika set with Janus.

Order a LEGO brick name tag. (Need to get it tomorrow)

Meeting more great friends, like Senjo and Nukaya.

    Trading Pokemon with Nikira.

Selling masks to some fellow members.

    Buying a custom Spartan.

Taking some pics of the MOCs and the great Bionicle Mosaic Projects.

Talked to ChocolateFrogs about the Jamboree.

    Bought some Dino Attack figures.

    Chilled out a little more.

    Said goodbye and left.

    Post BrickFair:

Went to hotel and got directions for LEGO store.

    Went to LEGO store.

Found the Dropship set. Plus got a 10% discount because the box was damaged.

    Back at hotel.

    END

Anyway. I'm leaving at 2 tomorrow. So I'm gonna try to look at the rest of the convention center. Also kinda bummed because they won't sell me a BrickFair 2010 brick. All because I didn't register... I'm here aren't I?!

    Kamacuras

Kamacuras flew into the scene in Son of Godzilla, and was re-vamped in Godzilla Final Wars. He can use camouflage and fly at super fast speeds. What's wrong with this monster? He's a GIANT MANTIS. That's it. A giant bug. It doesn't take too much creativity to super-size a bug. And seriously. If you never saw these movies, would you even believe that Godzilla fought a giant bug? It doesn't matter if Kamacurus is cool. It's lack of creativity.
  20. Brappy Hour
I decided to purchase the dvd and see for myself if the successor for Bionicle could have a entertaining movie. Well the movie is episodic, obviously for the reason to make it for tv more than a home movie release. Even if it's not. The Hero Factory movie feels a heck of a lot longer than any Bionicle movie.

Just like in The Legend Reborn, the animation was great. What I love the most of all is how close the characters in the movie represent the toys. When I was a kid and watched the first three Bionicle movies, I always imagined how they would have turned out if they had actually animated them like the sets. To my surprise I feel no need to do that with this movie.

The voice acting was also surprised me to an extant. The Hero's voices were good choices, but the villains seemed generic and stereotypical. Thunder is strong and dumb, so give him an Russian accent! Yeah... The voice that surprised me and that I never expected was Meltdowns. His voice and actions portrayed him as a smart villain, whereas I thought he would be more on a Devastator intelligence level. My biggest interest was Mark Hamil as Von Nebula. It was an interesting choice, but why him? Whenever I heard him speak. All I could think of was the Joker from Batman The Animated Series. So a hit and miss on voice acting.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «The story? Well it seemed to mostly involve Furno's adventures to impress Stormer, and everyone else making references to the Von Ness mission. Ooooooo. What happened on this mission? Well Von Ness ran away when the ###### hit the fan and a giant Bionicle MOC was blowing stuff up. So that makes him a rouge? That makes no sense. He would be more of a wimp than a rogue. The final battle was disappointing too. All that happens is that the villains run out of ammo, and Von Nebulla gets sucked into his black hole staff. That's all. Oh yeah, and Furno becomes the team leader of the rookies.
My biggest complaint is Surge. He's just an annoying clone of Berix. Same look, same helmet, same annoying character and voice.

So what does all this add up to? Well I enjoyed this movie. I liked how the characters developed, as well as the Hero HQ talk. Of course there was a lot of annoying things like Corroder's laugh, and how no one could hit the broad side of a barn. But hey, it's a kids movie advertising toys. So don't knit pick your brains out. Alright?

Well that's my two cents. I hope you enjoyed this review, and thanks for reading.

Today marks the day I made my seconed trading topic last August. Which means Bionicle Raptor's Trading Post 2 has been around for a whole year!

34 pages, 1324 posts, and 25762 views. This topic has helped me so greatly. I've made so many trades and gotten so many items, it's unbelievable!

Thank you so much to all the people who have traded with me and have kept my trading topic alive for this long, and hopefully for a good while longer!

  22. Brappy Hour
Hello everyone. I need some help about what I should do at BrickFair.

My biggest concern is where I should put my shirts if I'm going to sell them there. Is BZP going to have it's own place there, and would it be a bother for me to set up shop there? I'm just nervous that I'll make a bad first impression. Since I'll be seeing so many important BZP members. So so so nervous!

    Other Questions:
    1. Should I bring any sets?
    2. Can I bring certain items for trade?
    3. If I brought a video camera would anyone like to use it?

That's about all I can think of for now.

P.S. If Black Six lets me. I volunteer to buy a set for them to review. Like the Furno Bike of the Drop Ship. If I get it back when they're done.

Oh and Pics of Hero Factory Baddies! Corroder Xplode Thunder Meltdown
