  1. Currently overspending on old sets. ^_^

      Have you tried Bricklink?

His statement would still stand in most cases.

  2. Well, I wouldn't say we have many *rivals* on BZP. I prefer to stay on more friendly terms. I usually just post when I feel I have something useful to contribute. As of late I've been trying to catch up on a lot of the games going around, so maybe I'll start posting some little reviews of them in the topics or something. :)

  3. When it comes to being a server, having the quad core helps too. :P

  4. Yep I did both and replied. :)

  5. Yeah, where you can get your first heatstone. As for having it as a main section...well, it'd bring plenty more people in, but we can't justify it. And the Insurgent is still getting several downloads a day, so we're at least getting something.

  6. Think we could hold an IM meeting to work on ways to boost forum activity?

  7. I think so... :\

  8. Notice however that PEGI rates it 16+ (Halo is 14-15). PEGI tends to be considered more accurate now because it takes actual years rather than a straight "Teen", etc. If you can put up with language, there's not really anything else all that bad in Crysis.

  9. Come to think of it, I probably should have posted something like that...heh. My apologies.

Leynok, I've actually been trying for many months now. Both B6 and Screenguy seem open, but the logistics for running one are a mess. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. :)

  10. LOL, you wish. :P Making it Vista compatible is the easiest part (i.e. click the button). The only place that it should be "hard" is with the .dlls. GM7 tried to make things 'simpler' and more friendly for new people, but ended up making it worse for the experienced people. Mightn't we discuss this in the real topic though?

  11. We'll make a Vista edition, it's just harder to have to do it this early.

  12. Well, technically no, as they do mention in the rules not to ask for exceptions. In this instance, I linked to a site which linked to a site which linked to forums. The Admins have simply said that's ok (in this instance at least). Any link will lead to forums if you look deep enough. ;)

  13. Age of Empires 3 is a real-time strategy game. Very fun, as are the earlier generations of it as well. In terms of other shooters, I've got to say Crysis is just...wow. The original Halo has really great multiplayer too.

  14. Seems pretty clear to me. It says don't start PMing for exceptions because you probably won't get them, but that when the admins feel it's ok to make an exception, they do it. BS01 is in violation of that rule for instance.

  15. No, B6 was. I was in charge of getting the games that would be played on it (I didn't get to attend though :\)

Any particular constraints that we could apply to make things more interesting?

  16. Hardest thing...probably either the Insurgent or this system analysis tool I'm working on.

  17. Just an FYI NB, don't go around giving out my usernames without permission. In this instance it's fine, but please ask permission next time before offering. ;)

  18. I should just keep this going and see how long you guys hold out. :P And no NB you do not have my permission to give out my email to every distraught member. ;)

  19. *shrugs* I was able to do it either way. I tend to be pretty good at shooters and I was pretty proficient at the 2142 demo before I got the game so that helped.

  20. Pan European Game Information, so it spans all of Europe. Yes I know it's weird for an American to use the European rating system. :P Aside from that, game ratings are recommendations rather than law, so there's nothing wrong with a 16 1/2 year old playing a 17+ game generally speaking. Heck, Nickbomb here plays FEAR plenty. :P

  21. The one that my staff (you included) never post in. :\

  22. I think we really should start with brand new games. Existing games have too much baggage attached.

There is no forum loophole. You cannot link to forums and you cannot link to sites that contain forums. Very simple. I did neither, which is why my link has been approved several times. Leppy linked directly to the YYG site, which violates several rules, so go bother him about it. ;)

  23. Well my sleep patterns don't follow the sun exactly. 9am to 2am is my preferred routine, but sometimes I'll have to get up nearer to 7:30am (coughmorelike7:50cough). But evening is still evening, mostly there's just less morning. :P

  24. By the way, Leppy did get approval for that link, so I wouldn't start reporting it or anything. :P Certain links are allowed in certain conditions on a case by case basis, that's pretty much my only explanation.
