Hey, folks. I thought I pop in today to mention that I beat Trials and Tribulations in Ace Attorney series yesterday!

I think played it for like eight hours yesterday and I ended up being so engrossed with it that I stay up to two in the morning to beat it. XD So yeah, I was really hook on this game and I am already itching to play Apollo Justice (Which I am probably going start as soon as I done writing this entry.).

And of course, now I don't know what else to say here, especially considering I just load the title screen of Apollo Justice on my 3DS right now. XD

Well, I guess I can give you my general opinions of this series. Although I guess it is given that I greatly enjoy and have a lot of fun playing these games, I mean I do kind of blow up on Twitter whenever I am playing one of them (I try avoid posting spoilers on the games there, so its mostly just me sharing a quote from the game that I thought was funny and some occasionally thoughts on a case here and there). XD

Hm...If I had rank the games that I played so far, I think I would rank them as follows:

    - Trials and Tribulations: Okay, this is probably not surprising really as I have played this one more recently. But well, I enjoyed a lot cases in this one, especially the final one (Which might just be my favorite of the entire series so far.).

It also has cases where you play as Mia Fey (Who I honestly would love see get her own Ace Attorney series.). And of course, Prosecutor Godot is in this and I rather like him (Although I wouldn't go so far as to claim he is my favorite Prosecutor as that spot still kind of taken by Edgeworth as well, I played three games where he has appeared and I have seen him grow into one of best Prosecutor in the game series [i say this because his interest has always been on getting justice. Not just beating Phoenix as some Prosecutors seem so dead set on.]).

It also did a great job of tying the three games together, which I rather liked. Although I am annoyed that the seen to have forgotten that a certain prosecutor was planning to return a certain piece of evidence to Phoenix the next time they met (REF: This loose thread is from the ending of the second game.). But well, that's just a tiny detail really, so it doesn't hurt me liking this game. Oh, and the music is pretty great!

    - Justice For All: Again, this might be a case of I played this more recently than the first game really. Still though, I feel like it improved the game with the cool new feature, "Psyche-Lock". Miss von Karma also a pretty cool prosecutor. Oh, and my favorite case in this one was the last one.

Hm...If I had to say anything negative about this game, its that it only four cases rather than five cases.

    - Ace Attorney: Eh...There is not much to say here (I say this because it has been a few months since I played this one.), beside that while I do like original game, I feel like its sequels did a good job improving on the format set up here. That and well, Edgeworth plays a big part in this game and he is well, my favorite prosecutor. Oh, cases 4 & 5 were my favorites in this one.

Alright, I think I ramble enough here about the Ace Attorney series. Apologizes if this was boring for you folks. I hope you all have a great day today and thank you for taking the time to read this. Talk to you later, BZPers. *clicks start on 3DS*

Hey, folks. It been awhile since I wrote an entry here, so I thought I pop in to give a little update.

So yeah, what's new with me? Not much really. Well, I guess it worth mentioning that I finally got around to picking up a digital copy of Necro's album, Alien Grenade Launchers (Which personally I think it is pretty good instrumental album.). I am actually have it playing in background, while I write this.

Oh, and I been doing some house cleaning lately since I want make some space for some LEGO stuff (Mostly my Lord of Rings sets that I got like over a year ago, which I still have yet to open.) and well, I been meaning to get rid of some old junk (Boxes, old clothes, ect.).

At the moment, I am working my way through some old school stuff (Which I probably going to scan a lot of it since for some reason, I think it would be useful to keep old Math and Science stuff on my computer. *shrugs*). Oh, and I finally start to use this bookshelf for its intended purpose. Still need to transfer my Bionicle books out of Shoebox Bookshelf though. But well, it is getting there. Maybe by end of this month (If I keep at it), it will actually be presentable to show here. XD

Oh, and I found a couple of books that I should probably read. They are: "Sphere," by Michael Crichton & "Star Wars: Survivor's Quest," by Timothy Zahn. Not sure about Star Wars book though since my knowledge of Star Wars Expanded Universe is very limited and I know little to nothing about New Republic era. So yeah, not sure if starting my journey into Star Wars Expanded Universe with this book is a good idea or not.

In gaming related news, all I been playing lately is Trials and Tribulations on my 3DS (I am currently on case 3, court day 1.).

Hm...Speaking of games, anyone want an alpha key for A Hat in Time? I got a extra Steam key, so I thought I should ask if anyone wants it. If so, PM me, I guess.

Alright, that's all I really have to talk about. Thanks for taking to read this, folks. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in really quick to share a link of the trailer for new Godzilla movie, which I got to admit that I am rather excited for (I am not a fan of them using New York as the setting though.).

So yeah, here's the trailer that came out today:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIu85WQTPRc

So any thoughts from you folks? Does anyone share my hype for this film?

In other news, I got a LEGO related package on its way to me. I can't wait get it. Hm...Speaking of LEGO, I am probably going end up playing around with my LEGO collection this weekend since I been feeling a lot of creative energy lately.

Alright, that's all I have to talk about. Thanks for taking the time to read this, folks. I hope you all have great day. Talk to you later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I thought I pop back in again to share some of my thoughts on the LEGO Movie since well, I actually managed to see it today.

Before I start though, I guess I should take time to mention that I am looking for feedback in the previous entry on what you think I should do with my extra Oh, Tonight albums. So yeah, I appreciate it if you could leave some for that. Thanks.

Alright, I am going start right off by saying that I rather liked this movie. And well, I felt it really captured the heart of LEGO in a lot of ways. So I definitely can see why a lot of people here (From what I seen at least) seem to have like it.

Of course, I guess for me though, part of it is nostalgic to some extension as I reminds me how I used to play with my LEGO stuff as a child. Really it also makes me want to try and put more of effort into building stuff again (Although I still have space issue, so it might be awhile before I can do that.).

But anyway, I think you get the point. I enjoyed the film. And honestly I can't think of any criticism of it really (Of course, if I had viewed a few times, I might find that I didn't like or whatever. Well, actually maybe Emmet and Wyldstyle relationship annoyed me a little as I feel like that trope is overdone a bit too much in media. Eh, not that I didn't like the characters. But I wish writers could of done something else, you know.).

Hm...I know my friend didn't really like twist at the end, although he didn't tell me his exact reasoning. *shrugs* I am not going to say more on that since I don't want to spoil things for folks that hadn't seen this film yet.

As for whether or not I would recommend this film for people to check out, I say if you are at least somewhat of LEGO fan that you should give it a look at some point. I mean I am not saying it is going to be most life changing film that you have ever seen or something, but it is certainly entertaining and it has nice bit of messages to it. I know I am certainly getting DVD for it when it comes out.

Oh, I almost forgot...Do I think this film should have a sequel? Honestly no, I kind of feel like it has told the story that it wanted to tell already, so I feel like it would be forced if there was a sequel. I don't know. If they do end up doing it, I might at least give it a look.

Oh, and I thought it was nice that BIONICLE got a bit of cameo in it. I am kind of disappointed that I didn't see Johnny Thunder anywhere though.

Okay, it is getting a bit late here and I doubt you folks are reading all this anyway, so I guess I should just call this entry. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you later, BZPers.

  5. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. I thought pop in again to let you know that I got my new PC last Wednesday.

Yeah, I know I am kind of late to talk about this (Technically I did say it was coming in last entry though.). But well, I was busy playing around with it, so I didn't really bother to go on BZPower for past few days.

Eh...To be honest, I don't have a lot to talk about it really. Outside of well, it looks like it can run the majority of Steam games, so I might be more active there now. Although I doubt I'll be playing a lot of multiplayer stuff on there since I doubt anyone wants to do that stuff with me really. And beside, I tend to play mostly single-player games anyway. *shrugs*

Oh, and this PC is Windows 8, which got say after four days with it, it actually doesn't seem too bad. I mean I am not saying it is greatest interface for a computer in the world as honestly I rather have Windows 7 as OS instead. But well, I have managed to get it to work for my purposes, so I can't complain. (Its kind of funny that I can get the hang of Windows 8 in a way. But if you ask me how to use a smartphone, I would be completely clueless. XD)

Hm...You know it kind of weird that even though I can play my Steam games now, I hadn't really play any games on my PC really, outside of Gone Home (Which yes, I know some would argue that is not really a game per say. But well, I liked it. I thought it was a fun little exploration game with an interesting story. *shrugs*).

I am not sure why really. I guess it might be because I don't have a controller that can work on a PC (I find keyboard controls to be a bit of pain, especially WASD for movement. That might just because I don't know how to type properly.), so I am kind of waiting till I get one before I actually play more of my Steam library.

Well, I guess the other reason that I hadn't been playing much of my Steam library is probably because I jumped back into Ace Attorney series this week and man, I am loving these games. I just beat Justice For All yesterday and that last case was great. Oh, and I am actually playing Trials and Tribulations while I write this; so yeah, I been kind of hooked on these games lately. XD

That's all I really have talk about here today. Well, I guess while I am here, I should mention that no, I have not seen the LEGO Movie since I was planning on waiting till 22nd when BZPower Virigina meetup for it is going to happen (Although considering how bad the weather has been lately, I kind doubt I'll be able to make it. *shrugs*). So yeah, no spoilers, please.

Alright, thanks for taking time to read this, folks. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I thought I should take some time and well, talk about the future a little here. Well, I guess I should say my thoughts about my personal future or at least of my expectations of it at this point. So yeah, this might be a long entry, so i wouldn't blame you if you left now.

So to start right off, back in December of 2012, I graduated with an associate degree from a local community college. Now I bring this up because I often ask by coworkers or just other people in general on whether or not I plan on getting a higher degree. And to be honest with you folks, I am not really sure.

I went through last year (2013) working full time at my job (Which I had since I was in 12th grade / First Semester of College.) and I got say I enjoy the freedom of not having worried about studying for something.

There's also the fact that I have managed to avoid getting into any debt when I was getting my education at my community college, which is something that I couldn't possible avoid if I went back to school at this point in time. So yeah, the idea of going back and willing myself into debt kind of scares me off a little (Especially if I can't find a job with my degree.).

Additionally, I would have take courses like public speaking, which would be very difficult to do. Like I don't know about you folks, but I never been able to willing open myself up to a crowd of strangers. I always preferred to be low-key, forgettable, easy to miss, ect. because it makes me uncomfortable being the center of attention and it particularly why I dropped an English course during my second semester as I couldn't handle having to read my essays out loud to the class. *shrugs*

I don't know. I guess its just a case of me being strange, but I feel like it would make going back to college even more stressful as I have to fight against my nature try to do well.

That being said though, I can definitely see the benefit in aiming for higher education as it will open more options career wise for myself. It just a hard decision to make is all. *shrugs*

Alright, I am going to move on from college topic of the future. What else is there? Well, I would like have my driver license by this year hopefully. There's not much to say on that though, beside that I had at least four driving lessons so far (I hadn't been able to do more due to all the winter storms lately.) and that I need to work on getting turning down.

*yawn* You know I think I rambled enough about here. That and well, its late here, so I think I'll call it a night. I am sorry if it was kind of boring read for you folks. Thanks for taking the time to read though. I hope you all have a great day. Night, BZPers.

  7. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. I thought I pop in again since I want to ask you folks something (Although considering my luck with my last entry, it might not be worth ask here at all. *shrugs*).

Basically I want to ask you folks: What starters should I pick for Pokemon Y? I am mostly asking this because I am probably going start playing that tomorrow (after work, obviously), so I can get the event Torchic before it ends on the 15th. That and well, I thought it be cool to give you some power with this Pokemon journey and have you pick out my starters at least.

So yeah, here's your choices for my starters:

    Kalos Starters:
    - Fennekin
    OR
    - Chespin

    Kanto Starters:
    - Squirtle
    OR
    -Bulbasaur

For those wondering why Froakie and Charmander are not listed, that's because my Pokemon X team already having them.

Hm...I just thought of another question for you folks. Could you give me a name and nickname for my character in Y? I already named my X character JMJ, so I thought just now that maybe I should give you a choice in that as well.

So yeah, that's about it really. I guess I can mention while I have you here that I got the DVD for Pacific Rim yesterday. I am probably going rewatch it sometime next week (Hm...I also need to get around to watch more Doctor Who at some point.). That should be fun.

Alright, that's enough from me. *yawn* Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a good day. Talk to you all later.

  8. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. I am just popping in real quick to give a little update since I feel share some things with ya.

So yeah, I guess I'll start off by saying I expected my LEGO City: Undercover review to be up sometime this weekend, assuming I don't procrastinate. XD

As for what I been doing the past few days, I just been playing video games and watching videos mostly. So yeah, not exactly a very productive break so far. But well, I am enjoying having this free time to do stuff like this, so I can't complain really.

Oh, and I finished the first Phoenix Wright game the other day. It was pretty great. I am glad I decided to check the series out and I can't wait to continue Justice for All (I finished Case 1 in that yesterday.).

Hm...Speaking of games, does anyone want the Humble Bundle Steam Keys for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Magicka: Wizard Wars, Napoleon: Total War, Shank 2, Torchlight, Awesomenauts, Sanctum: Collection, and Rust? I can't say I have any use for these (I mean my computer is kind of a toaster, after all.), so I thought I should give it to someone that could use to them. So yeah, let me know if you want them.

Alright, I think I ramble enough here. After all, I don't want to keep you folks here too long reading my boring blog here, so that's all from me for today. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you later, BZPers.

  9. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. It been awhile since I posted here, so I thought I pop back in and give a little update.

So to start right off, here is a picture of my desk at work. Why am I linking a picture of my desk here? Because for some reason, I decided at end of work today that I want to test out the camera in this Tracfone Android phone that I got last weekend.

That and well, if I mention work here, I guess you folks can now properly visual me working on this dusty old Windows XP computer to do CAD (Computer-Aided Drafting) and database work. =P

lol Obviously I am not going to talk about work though since I don't want bored you. I mean nothing really noteworthy is happening this week. I am just doing the usual stuff, which is getting manufacturing books ready for release in the shop.

So yeah, let's move on to something else. Hm...Have you folks heard about Miiverse being on the 3DS now? Its pretty neat add-on. Although it definitely a lot more simplified compared to one on the Wii U (Mostly it lacks the friends list and personal messenger that the Wii U one has.).

Still it is a cool feature to have on the 3DS. I am not sure I will use it much though, outside of admiring the art of other people there. That being said, you can follow me there, if you want. My ID should BZPJMJ64 on there.

In other gaming news, I am thinking of maybe doing a little reflection on the games of 2013 here. I probably do that during my winter break from work. So you can look forward to that, I guess. I'll be sure have my review of LEGO City: Undercover done before that though. So you got two things to look forward to from me. XD

Hm...I think that's about it for this update. I am probably forgetting something. But eh, it is probably not important and I doubt it is interesting enough to mention here. So thanks for taking the time to read this, folks. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in again and ask you all a question. It technically one that I ask before here, but I thought it bring it up again since I do have a couple days off next week, so I have a bit of free time to do some stuff probably.

But anyway, my question is this: Would you folks like to see a review on LEGO City: Undercover here? As I have said above, I have asked this question before and some have expressed interest in maybe seeing a review from me. Of course, I never did get around to those times since there is always other things that pop up that distract me from doing so. XD

That being said, I still would like to kind of do one. So I been thinking maybe going back to LEGO City during my brief break next week and then next month, take a couple of weeks to work on writing a review for it. Of course, that's pending on if you folks want to see it.

Oh, and if I do end up doing this review, does anyone know if we are allow to post LEGO game reviews in the Media Discussion forum or is it best to just keep in my blog here? Just curious as I know you can post LEGO set reviews in the Set Discussion forums, but I don't see anything in the rules stating that LEGO game reviews are allow anywhere. So yeah, I guess I would keep in my blog then, unless someone else can tell me posting it in the Media Discussion Forum is fine.

Alright, that's pretty much all I have to talk about for this entry. I appreciate anyone that takes time to answer my questions here. If you don't have an answer, then thanks anyway. And I hope you all are having a good day today. Talk to later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in and do another "Saturday Haul" for you folks. Yeah, I know I am kind of late with this.

But anyway, as the title says, last Saturday I got my Learner's Permit again, which is good, I guess. Uh...I mean I am happy that I will be learning to drive again as it will open up opportunities for me in the future (Such as being able to move out and possibly find work outside my current mile ratio, ect.).

Although at same time...I'll admit that I am kind of scare. I don't how to explain it really, but I just never well, feel...confidence behind the wheel of a car. There's something well, scary about driving a vehicle... I guess its fear of getting into accident or something. *shrugs*

So yeah, I kind of have a bit mixed feelings about this really.

... In other news, I played a bit of Okami last Saturday. That game is pretty fun, I must say. (Thanks again to Chols for suggesting that I get it.)

Uh...I am not sure what else to say here really. I mean I guess I could talk about the Korra finale, but I doubt you folks want to hear my thoughts on it. *shrugs*

*yawn* I am just going to call this entry. Sorry, if it was kind of dull read for you folks. I hope you all have a good day and thank you for at least taking time to read this entry. Talk to you later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. Sorry, it been awhile since I wrote an entry here. That's mostly because I been playing the first Phoenix Wright game last week and well, it kind of ate up all my free time. The funny thing is I hadn't even finish that game yet. I am still working on case 5 of that game. XD

Oh, and I got to say case 5 might just be my favorite case due to fact that so far it looks like I can actual build a solid case as I have more evidence and information compared to previous cases. So yeah, I am kind of like having Ema as my sidekick more than Maya at the moment (Science beats summoning your sister's spirit any day. =P).

But anyway, last Saturday, I ended getting four Series 11 Minifigures since there was a nice little deal going on at my local TRU at the time. No doubt you wondering which ones. Well, I got the Scientist, the Saxophone Player, and two Scarecrows. I think its a pretty nice haul, if I do say so myself. Admittedly I do wish I got Evil Mech instead of two Scarecrows though. XD

Oh, well, having two Scarecrows is not that bad really. I mean he does has a neat little hat with a bird attached to it, after all. Hm...Speaking of LEGO related stuff, the 2014 line of Hero Factory and Ninjago definitely look like they are up my avenue. I'll definitely be trying to snatch some of those sets next year, if I can. How about you?

In other non-LEGO news, apparently I am getting...a raise tomorrow. Not sure how to feel about that exactly. I mean I am happy that I will be able to make a little more money in a week. But I don't know if I really deserve it. *shrugs*

Alright, I think I rambled enough here. Thanks for taking the time to read this, folks. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in sharing what I got in mail last Saturday since well, why not.

So uh, here is a picture of my haul from Saturday. As you can tell from picture, I brought a bunch of DS games from Phoenix Wright series. Why did I buy them? Because my boss always say I should be a lawyer due to my attention to detail skills, so I thought "hey, let play a lawyer situlatior then."

lol Okay, that's not the real reason. My real reason for getting it was because I try to Dual Destinies demo awhile back and I thought "Hey, this looks interesting. Maybe I should give the series a look."

And well, as you can see above, I ended up deciding to buy all four previous games (Not including Dual Destinies, which I might buy later, if other games keep my interest.) in the series. So far, I am on near the end of the third case in the first one and I am liking it, so I hadn't regret make this purchase yet. I guess I could keep you folks posted on that, if you want.

Oh, and I am probably not going to be playing Pokemon at all this week due to these games since I kind want to try to push myself to get through most of them this week, if possible. We'll see how well that goes. XD

Alright, so beside the games, I also got my copy of The Search, Part 3 and man, I thought it was good. I especially like how it humanize Zuko's mother. I won't say anymore than that, so I don't spoil things for you folks. But yeah, I certainly like the series. I am looking forward to Toph's trilogy next year.

That's all I really have to talk about, folks. I guess I can take this time though to remind you that I am hosting some raffles and all you got to do to enter is leave a comment in the entry. So yeah, if you want some free TNG Miru or a BZPower shirt, you should probably check that out.

Alright, with that said, thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a great day. Talk to later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I am just popping in today to well, inquire about something involving the raffle that I was planning on doing here. And that something is: Would you folks be interest in these 13 Transparent Neon Green Miru being raffle off along with this box of BZPower 2012 shirts? Just wondering since I was thinking about maybe setting this raffle up here for next month.

Alright, that's all I have for you folks today...Well, actually I guess I could mention that I got my LEGO DeLorean last Friday. I'll try to get some good pictures of it to show you folks later. Oh, and I am enjoying Dream Team so far (Not saying anymore than that since I don't want to spoil things for anyone. Although I am not very far to be honest.).

Okay, that's enough out of me. I am sure you all have better things to do than waste your time reading my blog. So yeah, thanks for taking time to read this and I hope you all have a good day. Night, BZPers.

Hey, folks. Just popping in mostly to say I should be getting my LEGO DeLorean either tomorrow or Saturday this week. I honestly can't wait to get my hands on it. I might even take some pictures of it to show you folks, if you want (If I have time this weekend, I might even try to do a mini review of sorts for it.).

Oh, and in other news, I caved and brought Mario & Luigi: Dream Team last Sunday since trailers last week got me interested in it. I hadn't play much of it though since I been awful at managing my time properly this week. The last thing that I did in it was finished the first dream boss fight. So yeah, I am not very far in it at all.

And well, folks, that's all interesting things that I can think to mention here. I would waffle on about other random stuff like Burn Notice or work this week. But eh, I don't want to keep you any longer than I have already. *shrugs*

So yeah, that's all you get from me today. Thanks for taking the time to read this, folks. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you later, BZPers.

Hey, BZPers. I am just popping in to share some random thoughts that I had today. So this entry is nothing special really.

Oh, and before I start, I really recommend you folks check out the music here by the talent BZPower member, snoip lion. It is really good. It kind makes me wish that something tangible actually came out of BNG, beside the awesome beta music. But eh, they dreamt too big, I suppose. *shrugs*

Alright, moving on from that plug, I guess I should mention why I hadn't post the raffle entry yet and well, it is mostly because Zelda Symphony threw me off last week. That and well, I am kind thinking I should push it back till September since BrickFair and Titans & Monsters contest are happening in August and all. *shrugs* What do you think, folks?

Oh, wait, some of you might not know what I am talking about. Basically I am planning on hosting kind of raffle here to give away some of last year's BZPower shirts and some Lime Green Miru that I have.

Hm...Speaking of August, I been thinking about maybe taking a break from BZPower and the internet in general after this week since I think it might help me actively work on my weight problem. I mean I am already working on bettering my diet, but I think removing my computer access to internet might encourage me more to exercise in my day (Which is something that I don't get much of due to having a 8 AM to 5:30 PM office job that mostly involves working on a computer.). *shrugs*

Maybe I shouldn't of mention this actually since now people are probably going to make funny of me for being overweight. Argh...I wish weight-loss was easy. ... ...

Uh...Let's move on to something else. Uh, how's the weather been for you folks? It feels almost like spring where I am, so it been good for me.

I...I can't think of any more thoughts to share, sorry. So that's all I got for you folks today. I am sorry if this was kind of boring for you to read. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to later, BZPers.

  19. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. I am just popping to let you know how this Thursday went since I thought I might as well, in case you folks are interest in hearing how symphony was and if I got everything that I want done that day.

The short answer to this is that symphony was awesome and I got more streetpasses than I ever gotten in my life there (Even more than amount, I got during BrickFair visit last year, which was around 20 Miis.). As for tasks that I assigned myself for that day (Ship a package, get a haircut, and go take permit test at DMV.), I only managed to get my haircut that day since my motivation for that day kind of fell apart when I realized that my package need to be there by yesterday (Friday).

So yeah, there was no way that was going to happen, unless I spent a lot of money on shipping and I really didn't want to do that as such my package plans were discarded. As for DMV test, I felt like it would of been cutting it too close with the time that I had to leave for symphony, so I didn't do it. (Hm...I'll probably take day off in August to deal with that. *shrugs*)

But anyway, back to Symphony itself, I got say it was interesting experience for me much like BrickFair was last year, especially considering this is first that I have seen cosplayers in real life before and they all look pretty cool. I wish I had a camera actually, so I could of took pictures of some of people and stuff at the event.

I didn't bring the camera that I used at BrickFair last year since technically it is "cheap" camcorder, so pictures would of been awful at best. That and I wasn't sure if it would break this rule, "do not bring professional cameras or recording equipment (including cameras with detachable lenses, any form of camera stand or audio/video recording devices)." I imagine it wouldn't break that rule since again, it was just a cheap camcorder. But I didn't want to take the risk.

That and I had enough things to keep track of on my person such as my 3DS, my dying cell phone (Didn't charge it beforehand since I don't even really use it ever.), my house keys, and wallet, which all take up a lot of pocket space (Especially when wearing some of my work pants since some of their pockets are nowhere near large enough for my purposes.).

Speaking of the 3DS, I manage to collect 30 Miis in Mii Plaza (I could gotten more, if I clear my Plaza some more during the show.), 50+ Fire Emblem: Awakening steetpasses, 50+ gems in Kid Icarus: Uprising, 8 portals in Kingdom Hearts 3D, 21 customers in Pokemon Rumble Blast, and 20 or so houses in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. So overall, it was pretty good haul.

Could of it been better for titles like Mii Plaza? Yeah, definitely could of if I had been more active about clearing my Plaza out there. But well, after how long it took to clear it out first time (I have all new Plaza games. Oh, by the way, Mii Force is definitely a lot better when you have a group of ten Miis. Although it still takes a little too long to beat a level in.), I kind just chill and causally chat with my friend, while he kept playing. *shrugs*

Oh, and for those wondering, I didn't pick up the poster or shirt since my sister and best friend are not exactly most patience people (Heck, it is why when we were considering another day trip to BrickFair [Which as I mention before, this can't happen now since my friend has a wedding to attend.], we have intend to buy one day visitor passes online since my friend wasn't a fan of line last year. Not that I am saying, I am a fan of lines or anything. XD I just have patience to get through them is all. After all, I did have patience to wait at my community college for six hours for a class to start. =P).

And well, that's all I can really think of mention here about Zelda Symphony. It was fun evening/night and it made up for most of my plans for day getting dash due to my lack of foresaw.

Alright, with that said, I guess I should talk about elephant in room that also show up this Thursday, which is BZPower has finally revised advertising policy.

Honestly I don't have much of opinion about it since it never really bug me in first place as I only really go to this community on the web regularly, so it is not like I have anything to share with you folks outside of this site. Well, maybe a video or trailer of something that I am hype about such as Legend of Korra, Book 2 trailer (Not actually going to link it though since I am sure you all seen it by now.).

Hm...I guess I could link to my Twitter (Technically we were allow to do that before, unless I am wrong.), but I rather not subject you to my occasionally melancholic tweets about myself there. *shrugs* As for Facebook, I barely use it at all and I rather not share a link to my personal Facebook profile. You can find me in BZPower Facebook group though, if you are really interest in finding me for whatever reason.

So yeah, this change doesn't really affect me much, outside of being able to well, mention other places here (Which is nice.). So thanks to BZPower staff for doing this. I am glad to see that they are very much listening to their community here.

Alright, that's all I got for this entry. I hope you all have a great day and thanks for taking time to read this boring recap entry. Talk to later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I thought I pop in and give a sale report like I did for last year's summer sale. Of course, considering I didn't really pay much attention to Steam last week, I didn't really bother with most of deals this time around.

That and this PC can't really run anything on Steam that isn't a Retro old school style title, so there wasn't much point in buying games there when all they would do is sit on my computer and remind me that I need to get a new one (Which admittedly I should of done by now, but I been kind of lazy about it.).

But anyway, what did I buy during this year's Steam Sale?

    - Awesomenauts (3-Pack, which means I get two copies to give to friends. I already gave one of those away, but other one is still up for grabs, so let me know if you want it. By the way, I can't actually run this game. XD), Price: $6.78

Total spent during the entire sale: $6.78

So yeah, I didn't really take advantage of this year's sale at all. Oh, well, its not big of deal and it saves me money anyway. =P

Of course, that isn't help by fact that I keep buying stuff for my 3DS (I brought Attack of The Friday Monsters! - A Tokyo Tale a few days ago. I hadn't play it yet though. XD), which I seem to be addicted to play games on lately. I think Animal Crossing: New Leaf is to blame for that mostly. =P And well, the 3DS does seems to be getting itself a lot of good titles lately (I can't wait for Pokemon X & Y later this year.).

Like I actually been thinking about maybe picking up Shin Megami Tensei IV since the Club Nintendo deal does sound kind of appealing actually. Plus, it is an RPG and I love those types of games. Oh, speaking of RPGs, I got EarthBound for my Wii U, which is awesome. I can't play a whole lot of it right now though since I need to get some things out of way before Thursday comes around.

Speaking of Thursday, that's day of Zelda Symphony and I honestly cannot wait for it to come. I imagine it probably be the highlight of my year. Oh, and my sister manage to snatch herself some tickets, so she will be coming along with me and my friend to the symphony.

Alright, I think I did enough rambling here for one day. Thanks for taking time to read this, folks. I hope you all have a great day. Talk to you later, BZPers.

  21. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. Today is my 8th anniversary of BZPower, so I thought I pop in and attempt to write a reflection entry of sorts for this. No doubt I'll end up rambling about stuff, so it probably be boring to read, I imagine. *shrugs*

Well, start right off, I can't believe it been eight years. Man, I been on this site for long time. Of course, not as long as some of you. But still, eight years is long time to be in same place, especially on the internet. And well, I can't say I regret it since I still very much enjoy visiting this site and reading all your thoughts on the forums here.

Although it would be nice if I was more active in the forums here. Yes, I realize that I am only one holding myself back in that regard. Really now that I think about it, I imagine the reason for my lack of activity here lately has more to do with fact that I am, well, completely unsure of myself this year. Like I just don't know what I want to do both in real life and online lately. *shrugs*

I guess I shouldn't be hugely surprise by that fact though since I kind of felt like this since I graduated from Community College last year because I am rather conflicted about applying to other companies since I almost feel like I am betraying the company that I am currently working out by doing that.

There is also question of whether or not I should go for higher degree than my associate's in Applied Mechanical Engineering. Like part of me is very much against the idea because I know I will have to take a language course and I don't have confidence in myself that I will be able to pass such a course considering how bad I am with English. There is also public speaking course that I will have take, which I know I will struggle in due to how timid I am at times. *shrugs*

Of course, there is another part in me that says that I don't do it, then I will probably end up being pay barely more than minimum wage for rest of my life, which isn't great really. *shrugs*

But anyway, to get off that tangent, my point is I hadn't feeling hugely motivation lately to really do anything creativity here. I think I need to get involve in something here. I just don't know what. It definitely can't be Critics Club thing since I don't have time for that (Especially not epics, Short Stories maybe...But I rather write a review at my own pace than deal with a week's deadline honestly.). Hm....I would consider an RPG, but I know from experience how much I just love to read everyone's posts, even if my characters are not even interact with them; so I don't know.

I guess I could try to do some MOC-ing since I definitely enjoy doing a bit of that back in December. So yeah, I guess I could do that. I doubt it will be anything that you folks would be interest in though, especially considering it probably wouldn't be Bionicle based since I am not very good with making humanoid figures. *shrugs*

lol I like how I say this was going to reflect about my eight years here and instead I am I just writing about this year mostly. XD But hey, it counts, I guess. I mean I probably would just end listing all the "jobs" that I have on BZPower over years, which is probably boring for you all to read. Not reading what I already wrote above is very exciting or interesting either. *shrugs*

You know what I'll write up that list here anyway because why not since if you don't want to read it, you can and will leave. Okay, so here is brief run down of "jobs" on BZPower that I have held over years:
    - Amateur Author: When I first came to this site, library forums here were what instantly pull me in here and it is why to this day, I still tend to view the library forums as my home here. The first story that I ever wrote for this site was a epic by name of Watis's Life, which was probably one of my worst epic ever written.

Although oddly enough, Watis and Torickparu are actually one of my favorite characters in my collection works here. I am not sure why exactly, but I guess there is a reason why I gave them a cameo in my Takanuva story that I have never post here since that's story is still incomplete. Oh, speaking of Watis's Life, I actually have a bit of reference to another BZPer's work in that story since I took joke of bad things always happening to Nuparu from a comedy on forums involving Nuparu and Makuta, I think.

    - Reviewer: So obviously since my early days were library centric, I naturally was a reviewer of other people's works here. Admittedly my reviews starting out were awful. But over time and experience with Epic Critics Club (I was part of the Club during reign of Twenty-Two & daydreamer. I refuse call myself a critic though since I feel like I am not talent enough for that title. Its partly why I left Short Story Critics since I felt like I wasn't good enough for the job in general.), I was able to get bit better and start provide people with better quality reviews.

Of course, I got overwhelm with school work and stuff eventually, so I did end up leaving the Epic Critics Club. However somewhere down line I got time again and join up with Short Story Critics for a bit before eventually leaving again due to life in general and fact that I don't think I am good enough to be one.

    - Role Player: So during one of my brief breaks from Epic Critics, I end up joining an RPG for first time and it was called Bionicle Kingdoms. And well, it was pretty fun. I just wish though that looking back that I have avoid creating my semi self insert character for it since that was an awful mistake of mines. Although even weirder is I was actually made a Game Master for one of sequel RPGs and man, I wish I did better at that. So many regrets. XD

Well, that's all "jobs" on this site that I really had. I definitely have my share of regrets with them, although there were plenty of good times with them as well.

With that said though, I think I done enough reflecting here for one day. So I am calling this entry and post it. Thanks for taking the time to read this folks. I hope to see you all in another eight years. =P Talk to later, BZPers.

  22. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. I am popping in to do my usual "Looks Like My Vacation Is...Over" entry since obviously today is last day of vacation this summer (Although admittedly I am entitled to two weeks, so I might take a week or a few days off in August or whatever. *shrugs*). So to start right off, I had a pretty good vacation from work this week.

Did I get everything that I want done this week? Uh, no. Am I surprised that I didn't get all I want done? Not really since I know I have a bad habit of procrastinating when I am at home (Its why when I was in college, I would always go to school like two hours early because I knew I could focus better on getting things done away from home.).

Hm...Really be honest, I didn't really get anything done this week, beside get my new glasses and go to doctor's. I mean I did work on cleaning the basement up and it does look slightly better now. But honestly it needs a lot more work done with it and I really I should put more effort in it as I basically rush clean it today since I realize I was out of time. So yeah, I am kind of annoyed at myself for that.

I also didn't ship out my BrickFair package yet since I completely forgot about it. I am going to try to ship it out next week, if I can find a suitable box for the job. *shrugs* Oh, and I didn't really take advantage of my free time this week to catch on some of TV shows that I watch or play Ni-No-Kuni, so that's another fail on my part. So this week was really not very productive since I spent most it just chilling on the internet. XD

So in conclusion, folks, JMJ is lazy (Not surprising considering my activity here in general.) and he doesn't know how to have himself a productive and fun vacation from work. That's really about it for this entry.

Actually before I go to bed, I was reading the forums earlier and I notice someone link to this, which shows that Hero Factory universe has itself a bit of multiverse and well, it kind of interest me. So Hero Factory fans, tell me what else story stuff does LEGO give ya and well, I might take a look.

*yawn* Well, I got to go to bed now. Thanks for taking time to read this boring entry, folks. I hope you all have good day. Night, BZPers.

  23. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. I am just popping in again to share some random thoughts that I been having since I thought I might as well. *shrugs*

So to start right off, I been thinking more and more about working on some Bionicle reflection entries here. In particular, my thoughts today were focus on the Great Beings and Mata Nui mostly since I am actively trying to understand how whole destiny system works.

Its a bit of mind breaker for me at times since I kind feel like amount of awareness that inhabitants of Mata Nui have ultimately creates too many variables involved for it to really be a set in stone destiny system. Hm...I kind of feel like there is much more fluid system involving destiny than that. *shrugs* I would elaborate more on those thoughts, but I rather save most of that stuff for reflection entries themselves.

Alright, moving on from that topic, I been thinking again about starting to look for a new computer. Although I am kind at loss about how to do that since part of me is kind wishing I was tech savvy enough to make my own computer, while other half kind of just want to settle with whatever prebuilt computer meets my minimum requirements of being not too expense and having a decent graphic card (Being able to support two monitors would be plus since I must admit I rather like that set up on my work computer.). *shrugs* Any advice would be appreciate.

Okay, it is kind of getting late here, so I am finish this entry up with one more thought from today. And that thought is I kind of feel out of place on BZPower for some reason. I mean I feel like I am big elephant in a room fill with awesome people. *shrugs* I guess it is because I have become more lurker here nowadays.

Alright, that's all time I have time for today. Thanks for taking the time to read this, folks, and I hope you all have a great day. Night, BZPers.

  24. Jedi Master J.
Hey, folks. I am just popping in to let you all know that I am on vacation from work now, so I might be a bit more active on forums here.

Well, knowing me, I probably end up playing a lot of video games this week (Especially well, Animal Crossing: New Leaf). XD But eh, I am sure I'll have time to do stuff on BZPower. Hm...Maybe review a short story or comment in some discussion forums here. *shrugs* I might play a bit with my LEGO collection since I want to make another creation to put in my box for BrickFair (Which so far my plan is to ship that out this week. We'll see how well that goes.).

Oh, and speaking of BrickFair, I got a bit disappointment news for ya. I heard back from my friend, that was going to take me down again for a day, and well, something has come up for that week in August for him. So yeah, the day trip is off due to that reason. I am sorry if I got any of you folks' hopes up (Not that understand really why you want to meet loser behind this computer screen to begin with. But yeah, I am sorry, BZPers.). I really should of wait till it was close to August like I did last year. But well, I got my hopes too and jump the "Zamor Sphere Launcher". Again, I am sorry about that, folks.

...Although admittedly it is kind of relief since I was kind of worried that I would fail to build up courage to introduce myself to any of ya again, so there's that. *shrugs*

But anyway, moving on that topic, I guess I should mention that I might be without the internet for a day or so during this vacation since I do need to do some summer clearing. That and the wall behind my computer needs to be paint, so naturally it will end up being disconnect and stuff. Although then again, I guess it really doesn't matter to you folks since my activity on BZPower is not much to begin with. *shrugs*

And well, that's all I got for this entry today. I would make a list of goals that have for this week, but honestly I think it is better just to play things by ear as that's what I am going to do anyway. Okay, with that said, I thank you all for taking time to read this entry. I apologize if it was boring for you all to read. I'll try to make my entries later this week more interesting, if I can. Talk to you later, BZPers.
