    Valkyrie

    I just saw Valkyrie in my local movie theater, it's an awesome movie and I highly recommend it. I found it interesting that there were so many failed attempts to take Hitler's life by the German people, crazy. Really good movie, I'll probably go see it again with my dad cuz he's interested in seeing it.

    I got the Ultimate Collector's Edition Imperial Star Destroyer for christmas, I plan on starting to build it within half an hour, I don't expect to sleep tonight.

    I must have logged at least 12 or 13 hours so far, I haven't really been keeping track. Unfortunately the wings for the ship are almost uniformly the same color, leading to many potential mishapes, I'm in the process of tracking down 4 lost pieces so I can finish.

    Finally finished the ship, the 4 pieces I was missing were on the inside of the infrastructure, so I checked each wing twice for no reason, lol, oh well. I made a couple small mods on the inside of the structure to boost stability and to keep things from falling apart long term. I was having some trouble with a couple parts along the bottom staying on, and in the front the panels were fraying apart because there was no inner support, now there is and they look pretty nice.
     
    Had a lot of fun building it, so about 15 or so hours, a couple of which were spent just tinkering around and cussing as the panels kept falling off as I was trying to put them on. Still enjoyed building it though, and my god, the thing is huge, I cleared off one of my dressers so I could keep it off the floor. <3

    Wisdom Teeth

    All 4 of my wisdom teeth were removed from my mouth today, I've had varying times of intense pain and just plain annoying pain.
     
    The most annoying part of the whole thing is that my cheeks were both sewn to my lower gum to prevent infection. The stitches will be removed in 10 days.

    It's an interesting theme, I'm debating if I should enter or not. My time is limited to build to just a couple days over thanksgiving break, so if I do build something it will probably be a quick moc. I don't even know what song I want to pick... I'm sure I'll find something.

    Moc Musings

    I just started brainstorming for a new moc, under the working title Project: Chromehound. If any of you are familiar with the game Chromehounds then you'll understand my source of inspiration.
     
    The moc will have both light and metru gray, I'm not sure how much of the moc they'll take up each... What do you guys think would be another good complementary color or two to add to a mecha moc? (besides black )

    I just got stuck in the Bloodstone Glitch in Fable 2. I don't have enough experience to carry on the main quest, since the seemingly pompous Reaver won't talk to me until I have enough renown. So now I'm stuck without the ability to use A, B, X, or Y to interact with people.
     
    From reading online apparently this is isolated to Bloodstone so I guess I'll go outside the accursed city and attempt to to other quests and whatnot. Hopefully there will be a patch soon to fix this glitch.
     
    Moral of the Story - Have at least 21000 renown before you go to Bloodstone.
     
     
    I really, really don't want to restart the game. ><

    Obama/Biden just won the election, which makes me very happy. McCain/Palin gave it a good run, but ultimately fell short, but they tried, that's what matters.

    So a guy from the frat Phi Kappa Sigma just walked into my room asking if I was interested in playing dodgeball, apparently they play every friday at the gym. He then noticed all of the LEGO Bricks that are behind me on my bookshelf, said they were nice, and knew that they were bionicle too. It was awesome.

    I just beat Halo 3 on Normal, so I didn't get to see the scene where the Master Chief says the aforementioned quote, pity.
     
    I've been playing online a little, I'm okay, nothing special though.
     
    It's a good game, definitely distracted me from schoolwork for a while.

    Rockband 2

    The sequel to the original Rockband is much better IMO. Of course, I own the diluted wii version of the original and the 360 version of the new one. Regardless, I've been playing it with friends for hours and have been having a great time with it and the one guitar that we have. (We only have the disc, not the whole shebang)
     
    As of right now, we are currently located in the majestic city of LA and will soon (hopefully) invade Britan, once we inquire an airplane that is. I don't think our tour bus handles too well in saltwater. Oh well, I just want to get to the AC/DC song.

    Awesome game, took many, many hours to beat. Especially the ending bosses. I don't even know how many times I died. I played through on the Sith Warrior difficulty and will attempt (keyword attempt) Sith Lord at some later date, most likely tomorrow.
     
    I really enjoyed the game, lots of fun force powers. My favorite being Force Repulse, followed by Force Lightning. The other powers I used occasionally but not all that well. I really enjoyed the storyline and how well it helps bridge the two story arcs. I followed the Redemption path at the end, my next play through will follow the Revenge path.... just to see what the differences between the two are, if any.
     
    The physics generators that are on the game are amazing as well, there's nothing I enjoy more than going and slashing away at some glass just to see how it breaks.
     
    Great game, you should go get it.

    Once again my hopes have been foiled by school, I've spent so much time preparing for exams (I have chem tonight) and fooling around that I don't have any time left to get any mocs to arpy before Oct 1. Oh well.

    Homework Online

    So we use an online homework system here at school. We have a different set of providers for each subject, Wiley Plus for the physics, Webassign for the calc, and Mastering Chemistry for chem.
     
    Its certainly different, and the problems are often challenging, which is good. The thing I really like is that each program gives you feedback on your answers when you get them wrong. Unfortunately questions for everyone are different, lol.
