So I was at youth group last night, and there's this table on the back. It has a wooden frame and glass in the middle. I've jumped on this thing, slammed this thing, picked it up and thrown it down; nothing's ever happened.

Anyway, so my friends wanted to have a staring contest, so I moved out of the way and just placed my hand on the middle of the table for support, and...

    IT SHATTERED!

Yeah, and I fell through. I got a bit of glass in me. But I'm okay now. Lol.

You can congratulate me on my accomplishment if you wish.

Today, instead of starting out with my thoughts, I thought (...shut up) that I'd start with the question of the day.

When you're lonely, hurt, confused - who do you turn to? Family, friends, God, pets? What keeps your spirits up?

I ask this because my best friend and I were having an argument (not really an argument, more like a "violent discussion") about if I was lonely because my friends were all busy, or because I wanted to be. And I asked myself, "Now why would I want to be lonely?" And there could be some reasons that the old me would want to be lonely. Just a few months ago, I used to be a depressed and hopeless person. And I used to like being lonely so I could mope. But I've changed a lot now, and I'm no longer like that. I'm happy and cheerful and loving. So that pretty much shot down that some part of me wanted to be lonely. Now, my friend was convinced otherwise, but we ironed things out.

But it is an interesting point. There are some people out there that want to be lonely. Is that fair to them, or more importantly, is it fair to us?

Thoughts, comments, ideas much appreciated. Just click the little "Add Reply" button down below. This is Taki, and you've just been filled in.

So I walked into my old computer room and saw an envelope sitting on the desk. I have no idea how long it's been there. It was from BZPower. I opened it, and there was my BZPower commemorative brick. I have it now. Took pictures on my camera phone:

This is making my day. Lol.

Since today is his birthday, Bionicleman12321177 is our member today! I've known this guy since I joined BZPower, and according to him, he's really surprised I made it to Oustanding Premier BZP Citizens before him. He recently just hit post mark 666, and he's working to my member group and at least a thousand posts. This now-14 year-old guy rocks out hard. He likes Guitar Hero a ton, like me, and plays it at his local Gamestop, hoping to pick it up one day and bring it home. After a couple of long breaks, this guy is gonna rock major on his birthday. \m/ Happy birthday, Bionicleman12321177/Bman/Flint/Spoon! Lol.

Last night I went out with my folks to see the new Prince Caspian movie. It was amazing, to say the least. I don't really want to post a review for you guys, but I don't want to reveal any spoilers. So when I say you'll love the part at the end that you see coming the whole movie, you'll have to take my word for it. Actually, there was a song at the end of the movie which I liked a lot. It's called "The Call" (talk about irony) by Regina Spektor. It's calm, so nothing special. But it's unique and powerful in its own way.

So my question of the day is, if you had to pick a song - one song - that you listen to that gives you hope and encouragement, or that you just think is special and unique, what would it be and why?

And to continue from my previous entry, yesterday Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter was laid to rest, and her memorial service attracted over 700 people. Keep these people in your prayers, guys.

New banner and avatar. Plus I'll take this time to post about my classes.

    1st Period:
    Teacher: Mrs. Rosado
    Class: Spanish 1
View: It's pretty good, but she said every night is like two to three hours homework, so I'm not really looking forward to that.

    2nd Period:
    Teacher: Mrs. Kramer
    Class: Government
View: Pretty good class, looks like it'll be easy like it's prequel was, Understanding the Times. All the tests are essay, so I'll have no problem again.

    20 minute break for chapel.

    3rd Period:
    Teacher: Mr. Minell
    Class: Philosophy
View: My favorite teacher and my favorite class. I'm looking forward to this year in here.

    4th Period:
    Teacher: Mr. Fritze
    Class: English
View: This teacher is the most strict teacher in the school, but makes fun of everyone and I love it. Words can't describe how funny he is. This may turn out to be my favorite class.

    5th Period: Lunch/Recess

    6th Period:
    Teacher: Mrs. Sandburg
    Class: Biology
View: Looks hard, but at least a science fair project isn't mandatory anymore, and we talked about the trip we'll be taking to the morg. Looks like they'll be a ton of homework, though.

    7th Period:
    Teacher: Mrs. Gardner
    Class: Geometry
View: I'm not bad at math, so I should be pretty good in here. We can get "No Homework" coupons, so I'll be trying for those.

    8th Period:
Teacher: Mr. Roland and sorta Mr. Fritze
    Class: Gym
View: They never really made us do anything in gym now, but with this Mr. Roland guy they hired, he majored in gym and we're afraid he might make us do stuff. So I'm kinda worried but not really cause I'm athletic anyway.

    9th Period:
    Teacher: Mr. Minell
    Class: Study Hall
View: We start with five lines on the board, and every time we talk too loud we lose one. If we lose four, we can't turn our desks to talk to each other and have to put them back in rows, and if we lose all five we can't talk till the next week. Sadly, on the first day of school we already lost three, on no account of me and my friends.

    Into the Darkness Chapter 1
    Toa Mahri Movie
    Barraki Short Movie

These are amazing. The first is the first part of the first chapter of Bionicle Legends #8, apparently, read by GregF. The others are downloads to the two movies on Bionicle.com that were given on the site. And that first chapter, while listening to it, is amazing.

I'm watching The CW right now and the a new episode of 7th Heaven is on next. I just saw a preview for it and I'm really sad because it seems like Lucy (Berverly Mitchell) might be leaving the show (or at least the family in the show). And now I'm sad.

    Today I'll post a RLotD.

First hot, then cold, then hot again. It's like Mother Nature is trying to pick out the right pair of shoes but can't seem to find them. It's crazy. But anyway, I'm probably gonna get my Xbox 360 this weekend. I was surprised, the other day, however, to find a few Halo 3 and Limited Edition Halo 3 games in a Target by my school. Hadn't there been a monster-mad rush for that game?

So last night I stayed up till 3 in the morning. Not a bright idea on a school day. Lol.

So I discovered that a friend from school is a member on BZP. That was a cool revelation.

And speaking of school, tomorrow might be a snow day. We're expecting 10-16 in. of snow by me tonight!

Any ideas how I could make this blog more desirable to read? Lol.

So there's today and tomorrow, and then I'm back at school for a month. In that period I have one day off for mid-semester break. Then it's back on till Easter Break. But in other news, next week for my school is spirit week, and then a dance that Saturday (a Sock Hop). Looking forward to it. I've been going through a lot of relationship stuff lately, and right now I'm actually on kinda solid ground, so I'm not asking anyone to the dance (though I'll cringe when I see couples). I'm gonna go with my friends, so hopefully I'll have more fun that I anticipate.

It's supposed to be like 50 degrees outside this weekend. After the buildup of two feet of snow, I'd like to see this.

How come LEGO can't get a licens to make Spider-Man 3 sets? They made sets for the first two movies.

Mega Bloks got the Spider-Man 3 license first.

I'm so desperate to get blog comments that I'm posting my research paper in here!

No. It's about Lego so I'd thought I'd let you guys take a crack at reading it. I have to get some book sources, too. And it's not complete really, but it's pretty much done.

The building blocks of life are things which interlock and intermingle. And much like the building blocks of life, there are other building blocks in the world. Some are cement, some are solid stone, and some are plastic. Yes, the plastic building blocks do sound very interesting; those are what will be focused on in this paper. Lego blocks have been a part of children’s lives for a very long time, but very few know the real history behind it. Lego bricks could be considered an integrated part of childhood, but they weren’t always like that. In 1932 a carpenter in Billund, Denmark, named Ole Kirk Christiansen began carving wooden toys. Two years later, in 1934, they began marketing the toys as Lego toys. Then, in the years 1947 and 1949, The Lego Company took a big leap and started creating plastic toys. Soon enough, the interlocking bricks that are loved by children everywhere came into existence. (Wikipedia)
Lego bricks have had their share of good experiences and bad ones. But no matter what, their playability and interesting functions is what makes them so loveable. Lego has had many very popular themes over the years. Two of the most popular themes, however, are Lego Star Wars and Bionicle. Both have a very interesting story to tell.
In 1997, The Lego Company was having a very difficult time. They couldn’t find very interesting sets to sell and they were losing their grip on the attention of young children. Kids were begging for interesting things that they could put together and build as part of an ellaborate storyline and still make their own universe out of it. And so, the birth of Lego Star Wars came out strong. In 1999 these sets alone nearly took the company out of the red zone. However, since the Star Wars theme was owned by a company called Lucasfilm, many royalties had to be paid to this company. (BZPOWER)
Around the same time, the Lego toyline called Throwbots made a surprise hit and was fairly popular amoung children. These sets were semi-focused on six main elements (fire, ice, air, water, earth, and stone) which were later incorporated into the Bionicle toys. They also featured many of the same pieces which are still current in the Bionicle toy line. These pieces include the following: axles, joints, small swords, and disks. After this, Lego RoboRaiders were introduced. These sets were much like the Throwbots, but were a failure in most ways. It was a step toward Bionicle, however, as they limited the number of main sets from twelve to six and incorporated some things into the world of the internet. (BZPOWER)
Then, in 1999, The Lego Company got an idea. What if they could create a toy line that they made on their own; without any help from an outside company such as Lucasfilm. And so, Bionicle was created. It was a first for the company, seeing as that they had never really made a full-on story all on their own for their sets. They did surprisingly well, however, and Bionicle was a success. In it were six heroes fighting for control of an island from an evil force. Adventure, fighting, magical masks, and mystery: everything a boy could hope for. The toys were first released in Europe and were accepted with great enthusiasm. Six months later, Bionicle was introduced in the United States and became one of the major points for The Lego Company even today. (BZPOWER)
Bionicle has had a strong following for many years. Because of it, many children have formed online sites about it. One of the storyline planners and the book writer for the story is a member on two of the larger sites. One of these sites has gained over 34,000 members since they opened in 2001. Book author Greg Farshtey says that this is only a small fraction of the following that Bionicle has created. This shows how popular the toys are across the world. The storyline of Bionicle has been planned on through 2009. Whether it will continue past that point has not been revealed to the public yet.
In 2000, The Lego Company attempted their hand at an original story once again. They tried out using a theme called Knights’ Kingdom, featuring a castle set and some other smaller sets. Small minifigure knights and kings (along with a wizard, princess, and queen) were included in the sets. However, after 2000 the Knights’ Kingdom sets just weren’t that interesting to kids anymore. (WIKIPEDIA)
In 2004, Knights’ Kingdom II was created. Instead of using small minifigures as the main characters, however, they created giant action figure-sized sets. In the background, the settings and smaller conflicts in the story were turned into minifigure sets (which were not received as well as the larger sets). This story continued on through 2006 and was very popular among younger children. However, a new type of knight storyline was planned, and so they were discontinued at the end of 2006. (WIKIPEDIA)
In 2001 The Lego Company once again came up with their own storyline; this storyline was original and interesting. It included a secret organization called Alpha Team who fought against the main villian (Ogel) to save the world. The word Ogel is Lego spelled backwards. In a Lego Magazine, it was said that this was done intentionally because the villian Ogel stands for everything Lego doesn’t, and is thus the reverse of Lego. The story for Lego Alpha Team was highly anticipated from year to year. It was released in three different types of sets which are the following: the original Alpha Team (2001), Alpha Team Mission Deep Sea (2002), and Alpha Team Mission Deep Freeze (2004). After 2004 these sets were no longer produced and the story was left on a cliff hanger, leaving the possibility for a continuation of the line at one point. (WIKIPEDIA)
And so, now it is clearly visible the struggle and interesting things that The Lego Company has done to survive for nearly seven decades. And as the life and times of the world change, Lego toys will change too. But they will always be the loveable, addicting toys that so many people grew up with, and will continue to love always.

Well, if you haven't noticed, I've changed my color to green. All new pictures, and all new banner and avatar colors.

In other news, I got the Across the Universe Soundtrack Deluxe Edition today. It's really cool. I also have some new swim shorts that I got for $10. They look awesome. Can't wait to put them to use.

Also, I got one more thing. I'd like to give a shout-out to Zyglakky Sharky, whose birthday is today! Happy Birthday!

After a week and a half of suffering in Spanish class, we've discovered who's at the top and who's at the bottom. So, here we are!

    *drum roll*

And the top of the class is...

Moi! Yes, I know it's French, I don't really care.

In other news, I have another new girlfriend. She's a Sophmore and is in two of my classes with me. I've been friends with her for a while, and we just sorta clicked.

And black mail. I told a friend a secret (well, my ex-girlfriend who doesn't know how to be a good friend, how to keep secrets, and has twisted ideas of jokes, very horrible person). Well, I told a friend a secret, and then she blackmailed me into doing something I really didn't wanna do (no, I'm not saying what it was). So I got her to stop, but now she says she was kidding the whole time, even after me doing the thing. You don't kid around like that, just a warning to everyone. So she really hurt me and now I'm very mad and a little on the edge.

Why is the show called unsolved mysteries? If they were solved, they wouldn't be mysteries, would they?

That's what my dad said to me as we were driving in the car this morning. Of course I smiled and said thanks, but I didn't really know what I was supposed to say to that. I mean, sure I could've gone, "Thanks, you're a great dad." But it doesn't mean the same thing coming back after he says I'm the good son first.

So the question of the day is, have you ever heard something like this from your parents, and what did it make you feel like?

Lol. Best and funniest answer to that question gets an award. I'm so tired. I started back at school today with Andi my stuffed animal bear (yes I do actually carry a stuffed bear from class to class) It's spirit week. Today was homecoming re-run day (from two years ago). So our whole school was filled with country-folk. Lol. Tomorrow's hunting day. I don't know whether I should wear my camo pants or be a ninja (they hunt people...). I'm hoping to make a big hit. But I'm really looking forward to Friday, Spirit Day. I get to spray my hair blue and spazz out at school. And then the day after that is the Sock Hop dance. I'm looking forward to that. I discovered that the girl I like, well, she likes me back, but she's not allowed to date. So we're just going with a couple of our friends. It'll be fun. Lol. Thad (our vice-principal) is gonna teach us how to dance to the music. It'll be...interesting. We're all way excited. Apparently about 300 of the 500 high school kids are going (that's a lot for a school event). Usually we get very few, but it's only our school's third dance ever, so I think people are very excited.

So, this is the first week of Ask ♥TAKi♥! I got a lot of questions, so I'll answer them, and then I'll be adding them to the new content block, along with my answers.

Yes, it is quite enough, I think. I'll answer these in order.

    1) A long time ago, back in 2001, I used to do farm-related things with a group called 4-H. Some of our friends there were close to my older sister Kitty, who was involved in the club as well. But one time, our friend who was about 14 at the time came over, and he had Lewa and Onua. And he was showing them off. and I took the masks off, and he got mad, because he was like, "Those are really hard to put back on!" But I just snapped it back in place. And from that point, I wanted to try and get more Bionicles than him (which I succeeded in doing ). But I haven't seen him in years. I merely collect and follow the story because I like it.

    2) 2001, pretty much just read answer 1 again.

    3) I got into Code Lyoko when I randomly saw the ending of a few episodes of the show, and then one time caught a full episode (this was back in season one, mind you). And I managed to catch a marathon of it, and I thought it was the coolest show ever. And then, the season one finale aired in the marathon, and I totally thought that was the end of the show, and I was so sad I cried! So when I found out that wasn't the end of it, of course I was hooked. Lol. So, it was the summer of 2004, considering that the show started in the fall of the year before I got into it.

    4) I origianlly discovered BZP in 2004, I'd say right about when the 2005 set images surfaced. I had been linked there from BIONICLE.com. Lol. I joined twice. The first time, it never went through, so I got tired. But then I saw that there were cool discussions going on, and I wanted to be a part of them, so I rejoined again in 2005, and I've been here ever since.

    5) Now, that's a hard question. I do like the new Bionicle sets, I won't deny it. But I dislike them somewhat. I mean, what makes me like a set 100% is when I see it, not have a clue what the storyline around it is, and I immediately fall in love with it. And I haven't had that feeling since the Piraka and Toa Inika. To me, that was truly the last "great" year of Bionicle (because it was the last real year of carefree childhood I had before becoming a teenager). So, I think the sets are pretty good, but not like the sets of old (2001, 2002, 2003, and 2006). However, I love the storyline. Even if I stopped buying the sets finally, I'll always follow Bionicle's storyline. It's just hypnotic in a way that draws you in like no other. It's unique, special, crafted with care. I love the direction it's taken, since I like things where I can be involved, and be proud to have knowledge from the story's past so I can bring it into play when needed.

    6) So, to the alien question. I am from another planet. However, not Krypton. I am not powered by our yellow sun, and my arch-nemesis is not a bald businessman. I actually have a whole day-dream that, to this very moment, is a story in progress about a planet called Train, and its evil version Moldar. And there are these little crystals and all this cool stuff...*voice fades away to the shadows*

    7) Favorite TV show is tied between a few, but I'd go for Chuck, currently. If not that, then Supernatural, Smallville, Reaper, The O.C., That 70s Show, Boy Meets World, or Code Lyoko

    8) I don't really have a favorite book, but it might by The Messenger, by Lowis Lowry (sp?).

    1) I'ms doings fines. How's ares yous? (Couldn't resist. Tee hee.)
    2) I have hearts in my name for the most amazing and unbelievable reason in the entire known universe: I like hearts.
    3) I actually put them there. Same like I put in here the ♫'s and this bowtie: ►◄

If I had the chance, I'd like to be a Reference Keeper. Mostly because I envy TLH, and he's one of my best friends, but also because I think I'd like to earn my way up the ranks, not just cheat into one of the positions.

Well, that's all for this week's edition of Ask ♥TAKi♥! Send in your questions for next week. But not just about me, I'll help with your personal issues that you wouldn't mind having mentioned in my blog. Remember, all identities will remain Anonymous unless you don't want it to be Anonymous.
