    P B Z Ps

I'd like to fill in the "P" spot. My only request is that I have a Noble Komau please Excuse my tardiness.
  3. I'm in. Linked Category: New MOC MOC Name: Razor Cat Topic: Blue MOCs Moral Type: Beast Species Type: Ummm…Razor Cat? Height: (All fours) 5ft (Standing) 8ft Bio: The Razor Cat is a large cat species native to the island of the Ekieigo. This species of feline is unusual because of its protruding spikes and hardened fur. It has a whip-like tail used to stun prey and as a weapon in tribe battles. The Ekieigo use the cubs as equivalents to attack dogs, and the full grown cats as mounts. Each litter contains four to six cubs, and through a bind spell, are bonded to one Ekieigo on the day of their birth. Linked Category: New MOC MOC Name: Ekieigo Topic: Blue MOCs Moral Type: Neutral Species Type: Ekieigo Height: Approx. 6 ft Bio: The Ekieigo are a species of sapient humanoid reptiles that inhabit an uncharted island in Kuambu territory. They are a tribe-based society headed by a single chiefein, and are primarily based on war culture. The many tribes scattered across the island constantly feud over borders as each of them tries to expand their territory. They have limited technology, but they excel in chemical warfare. Many of their spears contain a vessel of poison that drips out onto the blade tip and they spray clouds of poisonous gases in battle to weaken enemy soldiers. Each Ekieigo is bonded mentally to a Razor Cat at birth by a shamen, becoming lifelong companions. If an Ekieigo or Razor Cat is killed, the remaining creature is drained of all spirit and they become emotionless for the rest of their life. Linked Category: New MOC MOC Name: R’yn Topic: Blue MOCs Moral Type: Questionable, possibly leaning very very slightly to good. Species Type: Unknown Height: 5.5 ft Bio: R’yn is a fierce mercenary specializing in stealthy assassinations and dirty jobs. She will do almost anything for the right price and is currently working with the Kuambu. She is cold and clever, but respectful and is extremely resilient, completely determined to complete a mission. It is not known where she came from, but it is known she washed up on a beach near Kuambu territory, somewhat altered by the Endless Ocean’s waters. She has no memory of her past, not even her real name, and without purpose, resorted to bounty hunting. She has many skills in survival, marksmanship, and can wield a sword. She carries two SHP (Super-heated plasma) Pistols and a Model 49 SHP rifle. This should be a fun contest.
  4. Ankai, the building style is just so...awesome, a toa of void.
  5. Well, after a nice cup of tea and oatmeal, I'm ready to review. First off, these are not picture reviews, they are written. Ok, let's get started. In general: The Toa Mistika seem to be, a flop in design, but not that bad. The backwards piraka torsos are getting old. The new style of Adaptive armor though, is pretty neat. The idea of jets and fin wings make them worth getting. The Nynrah Ghost blasters are actually pretty cool. After a good solid push, the nynrah fly out just about as far as a zamor sphere. They also have good joint moveablity. From a MOCist's point of view, these sets are a gold mine. The mata red jets, silver limbs, and fin wings would be perfect in many MOCs. I can already see BIONICLE airplanes being built soon. Overall, the Toa Mistika earn a 7/10. Now, the individual reviews. Onua: I'll start with him because, he is my favorite. Of all the Mistika, he is the most solidly built. His torso, for one, is not a piraka body, but an Inkia backing covered by a new armor piece that fits quite well. I also like the mask, yes the mask. It's different, but it still works well, also, it does not attach to the top of the head, it is in fact, has a normal mask connection. The jets are a nice touch too, they attach to his legs in the most practical way. Now, the Ghost Blaster, it is cool in all, but Onua needs some other weapon, like claws, I still like how it connects, but it needs more. The shield fits nicely, provided it could be moved a stub maybe. Lastly, the color, it has a nice balance, but I would suggest changing the red and gunmetal pieces to silver. Now, the parts have semi-good value, some(like the new armor) are great for MOCing, but others are not, it just depends on your MOCing style. I'd say Onua deserves a 9/10 Gali: Gali is, disappointing, I would have expected a more feminine build, but she looks like a man. The scope and laser sight are okay, but please, she needs an axe, or a short sword at least. The mask is weird, it looks like a waffle was smashed onto it. But, Gali does have interesting parts too. The armor was the first thing I noticed, it's spiky, which I like, but it's in a postion that is odd. That might be better on her hips. Also, her build is okay, just flip that torso around and I'd be content. The jets are actually in a good spot, the ankles, they fit in and even improve movement. The color scheme is supreb, prefect balance of silver and bue. Speaking of blue, the new dark blue dog bone joints are a staple, if you don't get Gali because of her looks, get her for the parts, many of them are fine for MOCing, I know the scope will be in a future creation I have planned. Gali gets a 7/10. Tahu: Last, but certainly not least, Tahu. He's better than Gali, but not as good as Onua. For one thing, he has a Toa Tool, maybe it's not the flame swords we all recognise as his trademark, but they're something, a giant shurikin perhaps? Yes, shurikin, Tahu looks like a ninja, oddly, a flying and flaming ninja (nod to Bungie there). Now, his design is fairly desent, it's solid, but the Metru armor need to be replaced with piraka armor, it bulks him up more. Now, the mask, it looks terrible directly in front, but at an angle it is surprisingly cool. The jets on his torso, really need to go, the best place to put them would most likely be his shoulders, I don't know why, but they look good there. Now, Tahu is a gold mine in MOCing pieces, the Metru red fin wings are awesome, also the blades on his spinning shurikin, I see those as horns (i.e Trinuma). The metru red feet, man, 'nuff said there. As a desent set, Tahu gets an 8/10 So, yeah, my opinion on the Toa Mistika. Buy 'em, I highly suggest it.
  6. No Mistika I know how you feel, when the Mahri came out, the local stores didn't stock up on 'em until October. Well, when you get straight A's (At least in my family) money's not a problem. BTW, Rockoh has AWESOME MOCing parts, I highly suggest getting it, same with Takanuva. I am spoiled.
  7. I love Target. I just scored on finding Mistika sets. Now if only I had enough money for Jetrax T6 and Axalara T9. I think I'll do some reviews later, covering a MOCist, and collector's point of view.

    Color

I think I'll start using color fonts in my posts, plain old standred is boring for my character.
  10. Happy 7th Anniversiary BZPower! And let me take a few moments to talk about what BZP has done. First and formost, BZP has provided a safe enviroment for BIONICLE fans everywhere to talk about all things BIONICLE, plus more. It also allows the older class, much like myself, to enjoy it without judgment and critism, while still keeping it safe for the younger audiences. The different forums also allow not just dicussion of BIONICLE, but recreation in the form of MOCs, art, and RPGs. Sometimes we even get to change the stroyline, in a way. Not to mention BZP has a killer staff, I mean, we have great staffers who keep the forums clean, inform us of new stuff, and start contests. They even supply us with a sense of humor, that means you Omi. They are overall just nice and responsible people. And the members themselves, you guys give this place soul through your creativity and personality. So I thank BZPower for 7 years of fun.

  12. Sounds interesting, I'm might enter. It sounds like a good chance to get back into MOCing. The question is, what to make? I'm most likely going to make a Matoran/Toa/Turaga/Bohrok.
