    In English, I was taken aside during the class just to be complimented on how amazing I'm doing, and that I'm going to be put into the Honors class next year~

    - No school due to another teacher conference thingamajig
    - Finished all work needed to be done by this week (Save the project, but I want to progress on that slowly and check myself along the way so it's all fancy-like).
    - No forums on BZP to be a lil' 'ssistant in (Cuz I'm still assigned none lol)
    - Free time galore~
    - Free time translates to "Hours and hours of Mass Effect 2." -- Actually, I dunno how long I'd be playing it, so I can't say "hours and hours" but it'll be "Days and weeks" before I ever finish that game and go around for another time through. B)

    But what happened?
     
    Wednesday I woke up at ten o'clock AM, and had to head off to the airport at eleven AM. We had some trouble going through the baggage stuff as apparently my parent didn't understand that there was a ten dollar fee for putting a bag into the cargo of the plane. Once that was all done, we had two hours to murder. I ate a cheesecake, and fell asleep to pass those two hours.
     
    The plane ride was boring, and a kid behind me threw up and it smelled quite bad for the following hour.
     
    I met several old friends of mine at the airport who procceeded to tell me all about the new stuff they got and how my life was. Well, Two of them got GoW2 Limited Edition right when it came out (GameStop is within walking distance from their homes) and I asked how it was and stuff.
     
    Then Friend A and I got to his home (cuz I was staying there) and we ate too much, felt sick and went to sleep.
     
    Thursday was a bit more boring; we didn't do anything that day, but he wanted to show off his "new" 360 that I had chipped in to buy him for his birthday, along with a few books I brought along with. He told me about the annoying button though. You have to jam the thing hard to get it to work.
     
    I checked up on BZP on Thurs, went on as Anonymous and such.
     
    There was the main celebration on Thursday for my friend, and we ate, took pics and had fun. Then, We all got together and had a Thanksgiving dinner.
     
    Friday was more fun, at the school my friend goes to, you sell these chocolates in order to get a plane ticket to DC. Sooo, we went out with a box, sold it, and then (Much to my persuasion) we walked down to the local "mini" mart, where we both got energy drinks. Shortly after we chugged our cans and disposed of them properly, we headed back to my friends house. We went out at 2:00 PM, and came back at 5:30 PM.
     
    So, then, like on all Fridays of the past, we piled into a car and headed off to friend B's home. There, we did quite the bit of things. First we played GoW2 on Horde which was set on Insane, and we made it up to wave twenny six, then... we got murdered, and ripped to pieces.
     
    Before we went to our Friend's house, we stopped at GameStop where I bought GoW2 the regular edition.
     
    I ate dinner at his house though, and it was biiiiiiiiig.
     
    Saturday was fun, we woke up two hours late, and then had to run to a place of where we had to be. We got a bit scolded for being how late we were. That morning our breakfast was; an Amped Energy Drink and donuts.
     
    It was a festive day, we went to some homes, played some games, ate some food, and we brough Homework boi (friend B) who hadn't done his homework, to friend A's house to spend the night.
     
    We forced him to do his homework, and it was fun.
     
    On Sunday, we had to get up early and had to pick up two other friends via car, and then we promptly went off to Lazerzone, and played four games, ate pizza from Pizza Hut, and overstuffed ourselves. I came in second on the last two games, on the second game me and Friend B were sitting on the ground and watching the lights our guns made when we chot them.
     
    Then we alllll got attacked by friend C's rabid dog... they locked me inside the house... then I had to get to a different door while trying to not get eaten alive.
     
    Also; I saw Zed's name in Green and Watashi's in Blue and so CONGRATULATIONS.
     
    Also; I noted that I won Wrack's Story contest, and I'll have the info in by tomorrow.
     
    Okay, then after Laser tag and such I had to be brought back to the airport, and stuffed onto another plane. The plane was a pain cuz it kept delaying, and freaked me out at one point (EVERYONE GET BACK INTO YOUR SEATS AND BUCKLE UP!)
     
    It was fun though.
     
    And now I am here.

    Bad Days *sigh*

    I haven't had a good day... it is and has been classified as a rather bad day, let's start with before it even began;
     
    Alright, you all know I tend to be nightmare prone, well same thing except it was set in a more personal thing which I won't bring myself to talk about, but it was still frightening and rather heart wrenching at the same time. If it wasn't a personal one I'd go into much more detail.
     
    I woke up and six AM like I do, except with the periodic waking up in the middle of night. I skipped breakfast as I had to go, and at school I realized I had a lot of things I missed (projects for the most part, not actual homework) and so I had to get myself up to date ASAP, lingering thoughts did not help with that in any way.
     
    Lunch was a joke, all I had was a bag of grapes, twelve little juicy orbs in a ziplock bag. (We didn't have anything else, and this included drinks)
     
    I suffered from hunger and thirst all day (I do not know where the water fountains are located)
     
    No, I do not have wireless internet for the house, I'm using a USB plugin which I'm paying for and doesn't allow me to watch vids or use AIM for that matter which indeed sux. Although earlier I put on some sunglasses a leather coat and picked up my airsoft rifle to freak out little sister, worked a bit although she was quick to catch on. Then I ended up falling down a flight of stairs, painful, but at least it was carpeted (This was when I was leaving for dinner as I sleep in the basement which has the best view of the entire neighborhood, you'd get it if you looked out my window)
     
    At school I couldn't find my bus (First day on the bus) and nearly missed it (caught it when it was about to leave... I was so embarrassed from that...)
     
    Got off at the wrong stop and had to walk two miles with a forty pund bag and all I had to eat/drink that day was that bag of grapes. I also walked in on the wrong classes as I forgot my schedule for the day.
     
    I had a nap when I got home after drinking a liter of water, and well I can't sleep without something freaking me out (although the rapid succession is decreasing)
     
    I stepped on a spider which I think bit my foot before it went down, I can't be sure however. (I'm deeply afraid of spiders, it took a lot of will power for me to smash it especially with my foot... having a sister commentating how frightened you look seriously doesn't help)
     
    I mistakenly flushed the one toilet that's incredibly screwed up and had to clean the mess of water (Leaned on it when combing hair in the morning)
     
    I may have vented some of my anger and frustration out here, and if so and if you saw (it's an if) I'm incredibly, incredibly sorry, days like today just don't help when I'm trying to word things as best as I can as I get frustrated far too easily when my day was bad.
     
    I apologize for any spelling errors , this is a new keyboard and I still can't get used to it.
     
     
    There were some other things, but I don't feel like typing that up.

    Beast Mode: Engaged

    After listening to many songs over the past few hours, I went on a productive writing rampage on a project of mine. Got the very, very first part finished, worked out the events from there and reread the first bit some eight times already. All I need to do to it, in my opinion, is rewrite the combat scenes -- more detail, emotion is needed. What I have is more... of a "here's how it's gonna go down."
     
    Working up to the fight in the next bit is going to be fun.
     
    So yeah, I feel like a beast for getting all that done.

    Been a While!

    Sort of, anyways.
     
    But... well, I was off doing things that had to deal with more serious matters in life. (Nothing so serious as life and death, luckily, but simply matters that affect my personal future and some issues relating to how some things were treating me [in which I won't go into detail on]).
     
    As a result, I ended up spending a lot less time on here. Honestly, I ended up spending a lot less time anyplace that I had to invest a lot of time and stress over in some cases. What I ended up doing with the time I had with the internet was going back to some games like World of Warcraft (why? Because it's, honestly, a nice light-hearted escape from things) and writing poetry and spending time figuring out short stories to sort of vent things out in. (Which I wrote by hand, in a notebook, so the likelihood of any being shared is practically nill... though some of it was just roleplaying, anyway). I also began working out more, because that has a history of bringing my mood up.
     
    But, there's some things I now want to do.
     
    * Finish up college applications (I've really dropped the ball on this one)
    * Start catching up with more of what is expected of me, be it posts on one site, or working and helping on the forums here. (Real life things already factored in).
    * Write Nightingale, Guardian Angel and put work towards a currently untitled story.
     
    After tonight, I feel tons better. Walking around Mainstreet and stopping into a small little shop that sells neat little trinkets really got me out of my rut, that and some guy downtown hit on me so that made me feel pretty good (Actually, about three different guys did; 16th street mall was a nice way to spend some time today... wasn't like creepy, either).
     
    I have a new wallet now, it's one of those small, compact steel case thingies (mine's pink <3) and I also got a new Hello Kitty phone case (As a side note, I also got a LGBT related car magnet I love~ it's sorta political, so I shan't post an image of it).
     
    There's still some things I really need to do, personal things I don't want to talk about here, but after I get myself to do it... things will just be so much better.
     
     
    **Note: I've begun to notice that in games I play, like MMO's or FPS games, I'm always apparently mistaken as a girl... ? I really don't get this, though I mean... I suppose playing a female panda in WoW could lead people to assume this (I just thought the male ones were too chubbywubby and wanted a panda badly), but... man, some of the messages I get.
     
    That's my ramble for the night.

    Being Ignored.

    It's annoying when I'm ignored, after I said something important. It happens the most in the RPGs I help staff, like back with BZProvince, I was ignored a lot in there, but I had the compassion to keep people alive and well.
     
    I just lost that compassion.
     
    Oh, and 400th entry. Was hoping to put pics of Exia [Whenever it comes in the mail =3] instead of text, but oh well.
     
    Besides, I need a good digital camera to take pics, and I have about a week or so 'till it comes.

    Like I mentioned previously, I was lucky enough to participate in the FFXIV: A Realm Reborn's Closed Beta Test Phase 3 (Ongoing) last weekened. The NDA has been lifted for Phase 3 to allow tester to post screenshots, albeit with all the trademarks attached to them and without too much alteration (I left them as-is, so they are big images).
     
    In these photos I was playing a Conjurer (Caster, Healer) as a miqo'te male on the Gilgamesh server. To give some context to this screenshot, there was an issue with one of the main story quest instances in that it only allowed one person at a time to go inside, as a result, people created a line to do it one at a time (instead of bum rushing it). The line was fun to stand in, actually, and a lot of conversation was had;

    I got through the line in an hour or two, but this issue ought to be fixed by the time the next weekend comes over. (And is the entire point for these Betas). My PC isn't the highest end one, which is why some of the outlines look like they need smoothing, but this is only the game running at High settings with grass options turned off. (And the graphics, I hear, were tuned down slightly for this test).
     
    Also, I really liked how Cein came out (He's going to be a Lancer -> Dragoon on release :3) so I took a shot of him in his normal idle stance. (I do wish we could type in emotes while the UI is turned off for screenshot purposes, but alas)

    I'm really happy with how his eyes came out (You can change the eye colors individually, so one eye can be X color and the other Y color -- and they show up, pretty vibrantly!). Highlights were fun to play with in the hair options, and I may change his highlights around some. (A player made an awesome miqo'te male, looked more like he was related to a wolf than a cat, lol).
     
    And I wanted to showcase the sit emote, and this was in the wee hours of 3AM as the beta test was coming to a close that Sunday morning.

    Last one was taken by a small fountain in one of the lower level towns within the Black Shroud (Northern Shroud, if I remember right). The giant crystal (as seen above) is used for fast traveling to place already visited (and that had crystals one could attune to), though I took a Chocobo from Central Shroud to New Gridania more often than not. (Chocobos are <3)

    I did take some of my lancer, but his armor was a lot more on the revealing side (T is what I'd rate it, really), so I won't post him here. It made me giggle a lot though, because I'm just an immature little boy at heart.

    I feel really excited for it, given, it's right around the corner at this point (And not like... four months away anymore). Still need to make some MOC's for it (A crab, and finishing that one thing I've had legless/armless for the last year).

    So yeah, I'm leaving for Brick Fair at a confirmed time of 5AM Thursday, and that is going to really annoy my biology group as I set up the entire experiment and came up with how they'd be executed and what materials would be needed, though I hope they wrote that stuff down, can't be certain though. My World Geography group is just gonna be annoyed that they'll have to present the project themselves rather than having me do it. ^^;;
     
    And right now I'm semi-tired.
     
    And I'm getting a haircut today. I just hope that the barber people don't mess it up a third time ><

    I dunno, but Bionicle being discontinued again doesn’t really bother me one way or the other. mostly because I kinda fell out of it ten years ago. It’s still a nostalgic thing for me yeah, but to be honest, I wasn’t surprised when they cut it again; not a lot of themes last terribly long to begin with and it’s kinda hard to recapture the Bionicle series/personality from when it launched in ‘01.
    I have a feeling it might come back in some shape or form a few years into the future, or maybe there’ll be a different theme to completely replace it like with how Bionicle kinda replaced Slizers.
    However, I got into the ‘01 series because I was really young, it was unique and had a different atmosphere (back then it was basically “robots living on a tropical island, using stone tablets to write, legends/stories/myths etc…”)
     
    I never really got into the “Metru-Nui” arc, or the stuff thereafter. The series kinda lost the thing that drew me in with its unique setting and after everything was explained/canonized and we all learn our big bad guy who was before supposedly on par with the world’s God is really a janitorial scientist named Terry… it kinda lost all sense of mystery and wonder that kept its engine going. I dunno, for me at least. Not to mention how they tried to make it darker/more violent because of an aging consumer base, which really sits opposite of how the series first started.
     
    Not gunna lie, I woulda been pretty cool with it if the series ended after Mata-Nui was reawakened. (yeah I woulda been sad for no more sets, but the next arcs in the story were just so drastically different it felt like a different story altogether, anyway).
     
    but that’s just like, my opinion, man.

    It's somewhat crazy when it comes to how "enthusiastic" some people can be of some of the entries in there. What scares me the most is the use of caps and the... textual cheerleading some people are... typing. o.O
     
    It's a weird contest. Well, weirder than the last one; at least.

    bionicle stuff

    whenever i go to add new entry with the feature outside of my blog on the drop down list it still uses my older blog title, weird
     
    anyway
     
    on the whole bionicle coming back thing 'cuz i should say something as i was/is a fan of it
     
    - hope it's a reboot
    - hope the story doesn't become a convoluted mess of dark edginess and attempts to be gritty (and vezon can go away forever ok)
    - hope the story is able to create its own unique identity
    - hope the story is fun to read and features a larger, more interesting cast of female characters
    - hope the story doesn't create the silly gender restrictions like last time, because that was terrible
    - hope makuta goes away im done with his ten year long plans that have more plans inside of plans and plans for the unplannable. plans. (or they just make makuta better)
    - hope every single little detail is not explained b/c that kinda killed latter bionicle for me, personally, when BZPers went and got every. single. small. little. detail. canonized and killed a lot of the fun imagination (ie: all the canonized "THIS IS WHAT THIS SIDE CHARACTER LOOKS LIKE OFFICIALLY" cuz no that's your headcanon and while it might be a cool one i have one i like more but can't use it anymore b/c people will cite BS01 when reviewing fanfiction featuring my artistic interpretation of that character kk)
    - hope romance isn't like, decanonized, 'cuz cutesy romance is kinda fun and it's my weakness
    - hope when it does go away again we dont get stuck with a bunch of BBBCers again
    - hope it catches on and brings more new creative people around who do new things and explore new horizons in their own creative ways (i also miss the activity of the short stories forum i lived in there for like a year or two)
    - idc if they have cheesy jokes everywhere, old bionicle did so (plus it's lego they do that)
    - ngl i hope the story team doesn't have extremely long prolonged interaction with BZP or other forums on the basis that it'd prolly lead back into canonizing everything (though a way to have dialogue in like a feedback sort of way would be pretty cool... but it'd prolly be flooded with questions/canonization requests so eh).
    - it'd be pretty cool if there were some gender non-conforming characters introduced, i'd personally really enjoy seeing that although im not really expecting it
    - ill prolly buy gali, kopaka and pohatu and maybe lewa (kopaka/pohatu otp now and forever; gali seemed like she had a poseidon thing goin' on which seemed cool and lewa was... one of the earliest sets i got, so)
     
    but in the end i mostly do hope i enjoy it again, can use it as a creative springboard on days when just stuck or dealing with writer's block, and yeah i know already i'll rant on a lot of stuff (most likely).

    I need a flashdrive, and Illustrator on my computer. If I had those two things, then I could work on that poster for the "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" play for the school. Of course, over fifty people are working on over fifty different designs, but I need more time than what we have in order to make it look awesome. We were told about the project on Wednesday, started Thursday and the first draft was due on Friday. Mine looked like garbage on Friday, at the start of the period, but with suggestions I completely changed the sizes, proportions of everything, but need color.
     
    On Monday, I need to have it done and I didn't even start on the text yeeeeet. D=
     
    But at least I got great comments about what I finished at the end of the class period.
