    Uhm there are tanks without treads. They are called APC's(armored personnel carriers). The only difference is they have wheels instead of treads. But they have the guns and all that jazz. If I can't enter one thats fine but my dad is very experienced with tanks because he used to drive them and he says they are the same. Here's a picture: Is it fine if I enter one? Because a tank isn't a tank without a gun so basically racing tanks are the same as APC's.
