I just checked the comments on my profile, and they made me feel kinda bad about never updating my blog... I can't guarantee that I'll go back to regular posting, but I can make it up to you. Here are some attractive photos of myself from an upcoming movie:

Stuffs
By Wrinkledlion X,
So, I saw two movies yesterday.
First, my friends and I went to the Wolfman, and it was good. It was slightly predictable at times, but overall I enjoyed it a lot. (I'm a sucker for Victorian settings.) The special effects and make-up work were really nice, too. Some good jumpy moments... I've noticed that moments like these make up practically half the running time in modern horror films, but this one handled them pretty well.
(Quick tangent: I remember in "The Hills Have Eyes" they used this really irresponsibly, and after a while I was just laughing at the movie. They'd have the characters at a gas station, ands all of a sudden, ominous music would start playing... Was there a mutant hiding somewhere, unbeknownst to the characters? Then they'd have a cat jump out or something, and I'd just be confused. If there wasn't any danger, why the scary music? At least make the characters think there's a monster before revealing it as a false scare! It was so pointless and cheap it was amazing.)
Anyways, there was a scene in Wolfman where a character was researching werewolves in a bunch of dusty old books, and I recognized virtually every illustration from hokey cryptozoology books I've read. When will they make a good movie about La Bête?
The other movie I saw was Pink Floyd's "The Wall," which was showing on some channel in the high millions at my cousin's house. We spent the whole movie doing one of three things:
Struggling to follow the very abstract plot Holding a Beavis & Butthead-style commentary on the movie Or enjoying the trippy animated sequences I still don't get what happened in that movie.- Read more...

Across the Universe should've had a villain who sang Rolling Stones songs.
That is all.

My MEAN SIXTEEN summary:
Monday- Day before birthday. Saw Avatar in 3D with my friends. It's the cool. I look like Carl Frederickson in the 3D glasses.
Tuesday- My birthday. Went to Disneyland/California Adventure with my cousin. Upon getting home, received keys to my sweet new ride: A 1987 Volvo 740 Turbo in black. Oooooh yeah. (Actually we've had this car since 1987, but now it's mine.)
Also, at the penny arcade on Main Street, my cousin managed to fail the Love Tester. I got "Burning," of course, but after it went up and down a whole bunch for him, it just stopped and didn't select anything. I guess he just got a "Not Applicable." It's probably because it didn't have "Fabulous" as an option.

I made an Edward Cullen Christmas cookie today. Look at those luscious lips! Those sparkles! Those dreeeaamy golden eyes!
Oooh, but will Jacob be able to steal Bella away from him with his muscular physique, squinty eyes, and high cheekbones?
Oooooh they're both so dreamy!

I've always thought that Christmas needed an enduring villain, because all Christmas villains seem to have a change of heart at some point... So here's the Anti Claus, who lives at the South Pole in a dumpy hovel. He's probably got some grody little gnomes or trolls serving him.
(His colors were inspired by Old Man Winter in this cool old cartoon.)

Well
By Wrinkledlion X,
Yeah, the comic was disappointingly rushed, and I wish Greg had known the end was coming earlier. Yeah, Pop Mhan wasn't briefed properly on the size of Mata Nui, or even the Stars, apparently. Yeah, the trap-door is a ridiculous cop-out, Mata Nui's control room looks like a boring space-ship, and the interior of Mata Nui looks like a technic hallway rather than a whole other world, but at least... Uhh, at least...
Okay, I can't think of anything, but still. Maybe the book, if it comes out, will make a bit more sense, and hopefully bring BIONICLE to an at least somewhat satisfying conclusion. The whole year is so rushed that I'm not confident in that, though. As much as I've enjoyed Bara Magna, I wish the whole "defeating Makuta" plotline had just ended in 2008, or at least that the battle had remained in the MU and not spread out on this short, random detour.
It makes me wonder, though- If Mata Nui wins this year, what will the online story be about after the sets stop?
EDIT: I figured it out. At least the back cover was cool.

As it's been defunct for roughly 200 years, and I haven't seen any takers, I'm assuming the title of Holy Roman Emperor. Henceforth, I am Holy Roman Emperor Gunnar I, or "HRE Gunnar" for short. (Pronounced "Hrri," with a rolled R.)
Also, my friend Chris has assumed the post of Grand Vizier, because that's another cool title.

Ever since Windows Vista, defragmenting has been boring and lame. XP was the last time it was any fun, but I remember how even before that, when I was little, the defragmentor took up the whole screen and was massively deliciously awesome and fun to watch... And now I've found Defraggler, and it's like it used to be. Wondrous!
