  1. That's what I thought, but I just wanted to be sure. I will probably still ask a forum mentor just to be safe. Thanks.
  2. As the title suggests, I wanted to ask something that I'm not quite sure about. I have an MOC that I was considering posting to the BBC forum, but the model's name indirectly references old Christian mythology and it has a cross on it's weapon. I'm not exactly sure if this would be in violation of BZP's "No Religious Discussion" rule or not. Can anyone give me a more specified answer on this?
  3. The artwork, shading, and tone is simply flawless. My only complaint is how short it was. I think you could have expanded the story a little bit more while still keeping an air of mystery. I also think that leaving it monochromatic helped emphasize the mood. As Paleo put it, like a Bionicle Sherlock Holmes story. All in all, I think you did a stunning job here, and I wish you luck in the contest.
  4. That. Is. INGENIOUS! I absolutely love it! The complexity, the texture in the armor, the legs! I especially love how well you incorporated the Thornax launcher pieces as armor into it. My only complaint would be to have included some type of fold out claws on the feet so that it could stand on it's own without using the wheels. But even then, I wouldn't exactly call that a complaint. All in all, I think it is a true work of art. 10/10
  5. Well, once I had one of my MOCs leaning against my Thornatus with his elbow on it like he was chatting with the pilot. When I woke up next morning, he had apparently slipped down the vehicle and it made him look like he was sleeping against it. XD
  6. I really think you outdid yourself on the design here. While yes her body parts are bulky in places, I think that actually lends itself to the overall look. I mean, Roodaka was always described as being incredibly strong and agile, and picturing that on a figure with skimpy limbs prancing around on high heels is almost laughable. That being said, though, I think this would be better fit as a different Vortixx other than Roodaka. I don't know, in my revamps of her in the past, I've always represented her to be more... jagged? Light armor like here, but sharper edges and chunkier shape. I always thought that look fit her character better, though this is all more personal opinion than anything else.Despite my hang ups on the representation, I think you did an excellent job here between the armor, the design, the hair, and especially the weapons. I give it an 8/10.
  7. It's cute, in a weird sort of way. Kind of looks like something out of Portal. As for the design, It looks simplistic and streamlined at first, but as you study it closely, the complexity starts to show more and more, which is an aspect LOVE in MOCs when it can be pulled off properly. And as for the balance issue, it looks like that if the hips were drawn forward just a tiny bit, (like... half an axle size longer at the base of the legs, give or take?) it should be a bit more stable, but I'm just eyeballing here. Overall, I have no issues with it. Nice work.
  8. I like it! The flow from orange to the actual framework of the mech is almost seamless, not only from the well chosen color coordination, but the design and shape of the model itself. I also love the touch that Huna adds to it. I think it really ties everything together. Really my only complaint here is that I think the top of the orange could use some kind of harness out of either axles or tubing, but that's more of a personal opinion than anything else. All in all, I give it a 9/10. Good luck in the contest and keep up the excellent work!
  9. Birthdays are beneficial to health. Studies show that people who have the most birthdays live the longest.

Haha I'm going to try and stay on here longer. At least until I give up MOCing entirely. :P

But thanks. I'll keep you updated on how my health is doing.

  10. OH MY GOD, HE'S RETURNED FROM THE DEAD!So... Yeah. I haven't been on BZPower in ages, but I haven't stopped MOCing in my time gone. I have made quite a plethora of models in my absence that I've been sharing on places like facebook, but then I thought why just post there? What better place to post something but good ol' BZP?So without further ado, I give you Springblazer. A TransforMOC that's capable of deploying a 3-Wheel suspension system to race over the ground at high speeds.Robot Form: Front ViewSide ViewBack ViewAh, but you're probably wondering about those rubber bands, aren't you? Well, it doesn't matter if you did because I'm going to tell you about them anyway. Springblazer is quite different from your average TransforMOC, you see. As it's name so aptly suggests, it doesn't just switch forms. It's wheel suspension system is lined with various rubber bands so that it can actually auto-transform.By setting it down like this...And engaging the switch like this...You can instantly switch it from Robot Form to Speeder Form, like this!Speeder Form OverviewAnd finally, a pose shot. And that wraps everything up. Any comments, criticisms, or various baked goods you might have will be appreciated.
  11. @Takila Sorry I haven't been coming on. I've lost inspiration lately for building and I'm sort of fading out of bionicle, so I don't come on that often anymore.

@Flying Mummy Thanks, I'm glad it made someone laugh.

@ I know what you mean, but I just love that avatar!

  12. I've been resurrected from the dead! Sorry I've been gone so long. You don't have any idea what I've been going through. But I'm here now. How have you been?

  13. I'm kind of upset, but Hero factory looks really cool too. I miss actually cool sets with 8-9 points of articulation.

  14. I am sorry. Maybe you'll be like us last year when we got snow around March-April.

  15. Yes I did. But it only lasted for a day and I really didn't get a chance to play in it.

    Ah well.

  16. What? YOU GET A FEBRUARY VACATION?!#$%?!!??11!!?11!?!

Well, obviously I don't have one but you enjoy yours. :P

  17. Still. I always like watching sports with the family. (Especially when the Detroit Tigers are playing when we watch baseball. My Mom goes nuts. :P )

  18. No I wont get paid but when I go get a paying job, I can tell them I have had experience in the field. Also, are you going to the super bowl or just watching it on television?

  19. Busy... so much junk... it makes... landfills tremble... :P I have had an immense amount of school work recently, but I do have good news! This weekend, I'll be going to a store to volunteer for a while, so it's essentially my first job! ...... Man I'm gettin' old. :P

  20. I realized that I needed more pieces so I made the first one. Then I got into Bakugan but they're way too expensive on ebay so I made a new topic for that. I know it's really weird but I'm also broke and need stuff. :P

  21. I thought you all ready got one. o_0

  22. I'm doing okay, I'm being swamped with school work so I haven't been able to do much here. Yourself?

  23. Number 2. It has the looks of a real toa and the looks of a real psychic while one is too toa-like and three is too psychic like.
  24. It's... okay. (pats head in an uncomfortable manner.)
