    well I have a blog now, I hope to fill it with the vaguely interesting and will advertise for free (within the rules and by my own personal judgement PM me if you're interested)

    I've been working on my book for a while, and I've got a website which I've been using to promote it for when it's finished.
     
    This website has been in my sig for a while and my sources tell me that 14 people have seen this from bzp, so you could have seen it yourself, it has extracts, character bios and an old version from a while ago, but it could have more...
     
    I want to do a bzp style short story competition, and I was thinking about also posting it in COT, here. I literally only came up with this idea five minutes ago, but I'm set on doing it.
    Winners will be canonised and I might use any of the characters from the winners as well, you'll get credited and I'll include a link to your website, blog or social networking profile, you'll be able to show my site to your friends so they can see that you won it.
     
    so just giving a heads up and scouting for opinions, here it is btw

    In the main part, I'm neutral about this.
    The story will go on, and it won't be bound to the sets any more, but in return there won't be any sets.
     
    What tips the balance for me is the fact that something is changing. I was slightly concerned that the line might begin to stagnate (it it hasn't started already) but this new freedom and shift of focus will really freshen things up, so while I will miss the sets - overall I'm happy with the news.
     
    I'm interested in the mysterious new line, but I don't think I'll be a customer of it, it depends on build, cost and mocing potential, collectors urges are now out of the equation. I might develop a lazy eye and keep that on the story of this new line but I'm not a traitor and never will be. I'll stay with Bionicle to the end!

    Hopefully in a few years they'll start up again and I'll have something better to spend my food money on. For now - welcome to post-apocalyptic bzpower.

    this is how I'll be keeping tabs on my collection, so far it represents members of the brotherhood, order, league, dark hunters and toa (including turaga) plus karzahni (a faction in his own until he met teridax) and two versions of the ignika, I'll gradually expand to possibly include the rest of the canister villains, small sets and titans I have (once I can work out how to categorise each one)
