  1. I'm just not really clear on how Lanayru Desert became Castor Wilds. Everything else on the SS and MC maps match up pretty well, if Eldin Volcano is Mt. Crenel and Faron Woods become the Minish Woods. Maybe the desert is off-map, further to the west of MC's world.

  2. Just got Furno and (two) Splitface in the mail. I like them both a lot more than I thought I would; after all the negativity surrounding Furno I wasn't all that optimistic, but he turned out to be pretty sweet. I personally don't mind the white as much as a lot of people, and he's not quite as cluttered as he looks in some pictures. Splitface really blew me away though. From most of the pictures(especially the CGI on his canister bag thing) I thought he seemed kind of bland and boring, but in real life the colors balance perfectly and that face is just so rad.I'm happy to answer any questions about designs/colors/whatever, since there don't seem to be a whole lot of Splitface-owners yet. I might try to take some pictures(better than the Surge ones, I promise), but that won't be 'til tomorrow at the earliest.

  3. Why is everyone hating on the arms? Yeah it's unrealistic, but you know what else doesn't work in real life? Robots that fight crime, not to mention that they have human personalities and even genders. Come on, let them be creative.Personally, I love this set. The arms work for me, especially since the red spikes and even the guns kind of look like fins. The size is pretty impressive for one of the small sets too, though I guess it can't really be considered a small set anymore since it costs the same as the Piraka did, back in the day.All he needs is a frickin' laser beam attached to his frickin' head! Sorry, it was right there, couldn't resist.

  4. The threat of the Witch Doctor may be over, but he wasn't the only villain who liked the idea of a jungle lair. Ethan Torch, a ruthless turncoat hero, has avoided capture once again and fled to the planet Quatros. Joseph Shadow, his former teammate, has been sent to thwart the traitorous fiend before he revives Witch Doctor's plot to control the planet's Quaza supply.Made these guys a couple months ago to go along with the Savage Planet storyline. They're not really custom at all, the main idea was to experiment with HF's system and make a simple aesthetic look cool. Hopefully that worked out despite their basic design.Joseph ShadowShadow has been fitted with powerful claws and thick, sludge-resistant boots to traverse the treacherous jungle floor. Having nearly been killed by his former colleague some months before, he has abandoned any hope of converting Torch back to the Hero Factory's cause and is focused solely on getting him behind bars.Ethan TorchAs it turns out, Shadow isn't the only one with an upgrade. Torch has adapted to his new environment seamlessly, now equipped with venomous spines, mighty talons, and a toxic gas blaster. He has already resumed Witch Doctor's villainous operations, using leftover Quaza to take control of the planet's most vicious beasts. He has no intention of returning to the Hero Factory, much less as a prisoner, so he'll be pulling out all the stops to eliminate Shadow.Gallery - Might not be public yet. I know the picture quality could be a lot better due to these all being taken last night, so I might try to get some better pictures today with more natural light.

  5. Haven't seen any Surge pics around here yet, so here we go:Surge 1Surge 2WeaponTorsoThey're not exactly DeeVee quality, but hopefully you can still get a pretty good idea of the set. The shoulder armor doesn't get in the way of posing as much as I thought it would, and I very much like the new torso piece. The handcuffs are a really neat feature too.Next time, it would probably be a good idea to take the pictures in daylight. :PEDIT: There, that should be better. Haven't used Brickshelf in awhile.

  6. Whoa... I just bought this set about an hour ago... Along with the new rocka.Oh the irony! :P~PowerMiner~

Wait, from the Toys R Us website, or did you find him in a store?Anyway, now I want Reapa even more. He's been one of my favorites since the very first pictures, and he still stands out with his unique design and that awesome face, which is so full of character I feel like I could have a conversation with it. Which would probably end in tears, because the character in question is apparently not a very friendly one.
  7. Once you get the whip(which is fairly soon, actually), you'll be able to snag Monster Horns from Bokoblins. I think I got lucky in my playthrough and managed to get a lot of them from chests, but of course it will be different for everyone, so you probably don't want to rely on those alone.Edit: Dangit, ninja'd.

  8. Just beat Skyward Sword, so GIGANTIC SPOILERS AHEAD:

Demise had a really epic death. Lightning-charged Master Sword to the chest? That rivals the infamous forehead-strike from Wind Waker, maybe even tops it. And I figured he'd turn out to be the first incarnation of Ganon in some way or another. I mean just look at that schnoz. :PThe ending reminded me of OoT a bit, what with the baddie swearing he will one day get revenge. I liked that little throwback.

  9. I haven't had much time to play recently due to soccer and ridiculous amounts of homework, so the last thing I did was beat the Earth Temple.

The Sheikah lady ticks me off. So I'm supposedly incompetent and unable to protect Zelda? Oh, sorry, I was under the impression that I was the one who held off Girahim long enough for her to escape the Skyview Temple. But seriously, how do you expect me to catch up with her on foot when you teleport her straight from the Skyview Temple to the Eldin Province? I really don't get why I'm the one at fault here. If anything, it's your fault for warping her straight into the hands of the enemy.

Okay, that's enough of my ranting for now. I need to get started on Lanayru. :t: :b: :3:

I think it has less to do with Impa (that's her name. :P) thinking you are incompetent and more that she just has really ridiculous expectations. Sure, you are the chosen hero, but even Zelda wasn't ready for whatever "destiny had in store for her" immediately after arriving on the surface. Cut Link some slack, Impa.

Yeah, I was surprised when I got to that part, 'cause I was expecting Impa to be more the benevolent caretaker she's generally been throughout the series. Still, I think her harsh words may have just been her way of spurring Link onward, challenging him to be the very best(like no one ever was :P).
