    I don't think any year of my life has been this strange or bizarre. I'm really very interested to see where things are in another year. In fact, I should probably write out a list of questions I have right now and see how many of them have answers by then.

    So I mentioned before that an uncle of mine very kindly gave me a loan of an SLR camera. I actually haven't been posting any more of the pictures I've taken, so let me fix that. Here's a quick selection.

    I just spent a whole hour typing and retyping a short post. Then I decided against posting it because it still didn't sound right. Not exactly time well spent.

    So art classes at school are going pretty well. I go in on a Wednesday and a Friday, and on a Friday the art class is the last class of the day, so I take the bus back home.
     
    The two individuals from this entry are on the bus. And yeah, what do you know, they're still ignoring me. The first one is generally ignorant anyway, so I suppose I can't expect anything else of him, but as for the other I'm 99% sure she avoids me because she has stupid Catholic parents won't let her near non-Catholic people or things. I can't go into detail there because some people might get offended and we can't discuss religion.
     
    It's pretty depressing going home on a bus with a bunch of people and feeling really isolated.

    Okay, here goes. You'll need the following:
     

     

     
    Insert the hook like so. The half bushings are important, because they align the hook correctly and also provide friction to keep it in.
     

     
    Rotate the trigger whilst inserting the hook further. Keep pushing until it's in as far as it can go.
     

     
    Done! If it's in place properly, the tip of the hook should be touching the trigger and you should be able to knock this about without anything coming loose.
     

     
    And just note that the half bushings should be as far up as possible like they are there, as they have bad grip if they're sitting lower down in the barrel.

    I took a Nuva-style approach to this one. And well, uh, she probably doesn't even look female because I'm still that bad. Maybe the sand blue will distract you. And the scarf.

    I'm on the other side of the country at the moment with my grandparents, which unfortunately means I miss out on all the Halloween fun this year, but no matter. Have a good Nightmare Night.

    VB, the extremely kind fellow he is, got me Portal for my birthday, and it's great.
     
    Of course, everybody else knew that it was great three years ago, but better late than never, right?

    The day's only starting, but so far I don't seem to be experiencing any withdrawal symptoms. I have a bit of a headache, but that was happening every day before I began. I could be one of the lucky people who doesn't get withdrawals and just starts to feel better after a while. I dunno.

    I'm sitting here with Takuma and Sumiki and we're just back from playing laser tag with a bunch of other BZPers. I've never played laser tag before and I'm hilariously bad.
