    Unfortunate Event(s)

    So there's this kid at my school who tweeted, "I think Mrs.------ is single handedly the worst teacher". Probably thought it was funny until he came into class, and the tweet was projected to the front of the room, with the teacher posing in front of it.
     
    Best part? She got a video of his reaction.
     
     
    Sometimes, I really can't stand the English department in my school, but I've gotta say, most of the English teachers are the craziest, fun filled people I've ever met that know how to play up their sarcasm instead of avoiding it.
     
     
     
    In other news, I'm having trouble finding an appetite for anything recently. This happens every once in a while, but I hope it passes over soon. >.<

    Rollerskates

    So, as a "reward" for basically making it through PE this semester, the week before spring break is going to be spent rollerskating. It sounded great at the time but very quickly I learned that I cannot skate for my life.
     
    Seriously, if I had a pair of skates glued to my feet and I had to flee from a collapsing bridge, I would probably try to get away, fall to the ground, then fall with the bridge.
     
     
    I must've fallen five times or so. Three of those were consecutive, from me trying to get back up.
     
    It's going to be a long week. e.e

    SciO: Regional Results

    This past Saturday was our regional. Nearly everyone on the team, Varsity and JV, placed high in their events.
     
    However, history has a sad sense of humor. Last year, our team lost state by four points.
     
    This year, it was seven we lost by. We would have made it, too, but our Thermo box got 10 points deducted for some reason that I don't fully understand.
     
     
    Oh well! Better start studying for next year. =)
    The list for next year's events is already out, and it usually doesn't change that much. So, assuming the list is "final," I'll be doing entomology, MagLev, Experimental, hopefully Write it Do it, and I want to try Mission Possible. I heard that it was probably the worst event ever, but it sounds fun. =P
     
    Really hoping for Sounds of Music to come back in two years. As seniors, we would destroy the competition. =P

    That was a scare.

    I didn't realize that the blog tab moved over, so when I went to click on blog, I clicked into the tracker instead.
     
    Only saw the two categories, assumed they were blogs, freaked out that somehow all of the blogs were deleted, and then saw Six's avatar on the side and the word blog, so I assumed it was an apology for the server having a hiccup.
     
    But then I found the actual tab.
     
     
    It was like a bad dream, man.

    In Pokemon-related news, Sylveon has been official released. Probably won't be using it in X/Y, but nice to see we have more Eeveelutions. It almost seems like we're getting a lot of names with uncommon letters, but that's really only with Xerneas, Yveltal, and Sylveon.
     
     
    Also, I plan on playing through each generation and remake. Pokemon Blue, Gold, Sapphire, LeafGreen, Pearl, HeartGold, Black, and White 2. Hopefully by the time I finish them all, X and Y will be released. =P

    The school isn't allowing sophomores (me) to pick an AP English class for next year, and basically making all of us go to English 3 Honors next year and one AP English class senior year.

    Assassins and Updates

    So, our SciO team wins a spirit award at this one invite every year, and this year, we're winning it by having a game of Assassins. All day, secret alliances, winner gets a bag of skittles.
     
    And I intend to win.
     
     
    Also, that BZP countdown thing is nice. I like it.
     
     
    Also, basically no progress on the RotR game. My chance to go to state for SciO is on the line, so.. yeah. Not to mention that I'm getting this odd glitch that I'm not sure how to fix, but the maps are done. I guess I could give out an awful demo, I'll put in some NPCs if you guys want.

    What compelled someone to put the Amazon Cloud on BZP? If the rules don't even allow mentioning other forums, then they'd probably have a heart attack if they saw what was tagged. You know, being a kid-friendly site. If you get what I'm saying.

    I said last year (as in, November/December) that I knew what classes I'm taking senior year. Well, that's proven to be wrong.
     
    There's a chance that AP Music Theory will be brought back next year, and I'm taking it. However, that means one less class, and unfortunately, I'm giving up art. Which means that I can't take the art class I really want to take senior year, because of prerequisites.
     
    I can't even drop lunch to take the art class, because of AP Chem, which is a period and a half. I'd drop it senior year but I can't take the two concurrently.
     
    I don't need to take a class that teaches me what I already know, in order for me to take a class to help for college and the like. It's silly to sit through a year of already-learnt information.
     
    Sigh. I wish there were more hours of the school day.

    Name Change and SciO

    Decided to change my name because I've stuck with my old username for the entire time. I don't think it'll mess with people, since I've had my avatar and sig for a while now.
     
     
    Now, more SciO stuff! Another invite tomorrow, really freaking out about this one but I'm determined to win in Forestry.
     
    Surprisingly, my partner and I won fifth in Fermi last time, not sure how that happened. 10th in Experimental, 8th in Forestry, and 8-13th in MagLev. Ranks will be increasing tomorrow. They better. =D

    This Has Pleased Me

    Someone created a tool to edit the maps in Gen 4. This is amazing and saddening news.
     
     
    Because now, I [will] have a stable platform to base RotR2 on, but it's so well developed, I almost want to switch RotR onto it.
     
    So there. As for updates on the game, it's almost ready to be released as a demo. Going to shoot for next week, I'll release the bare bones of it.

    RotR and Stuff

    Done with finals. Pretty happy about my grades. But this also means that I have time again.
     
     
    Going to start up work on the RotR Game, I need to finish the Alamo. I might put in some placeholder NPCs, but I think I'll release a short (emphasis on short) demo afterwards.
     
    Debating on whether or not to allow the demo to include Cerulean City and/or Pokemon.

    Busy Busy Busy

    I have a perfectly logical explanation for my lack of activity on here.
     
    SCHOOL.
     
    Unlike most other people, I have my finals in two days as opposed to before Christmas, so teachers are cramming. Which means homework. Add Science Olympiad into that and you've got yourself a negative amount of free time!
     
    I think it's taken a toll on my sanity.
     
     
    However, that being said, I have almost no time to do anything but school. Which means that, unfortunately, Alpha 0.0.1 of Operation Rally will be pushed back. As for how far back, I can't really say. After finals, I've got an elongated weekend, so maybe some progress will happen there and things will be back on track? I dunno. SciO is at a higher priority than the game right now, but I usually have a lot of downtime during competitions.
     
    I'll get back to work soon, I promise.

    In other news, I should be asleep right now because winter break technically ends in an hour and school returns tomorrow. So meh, tired am I not.
     
    But I did learn that two weeks without writing anything really messes with your handwriting. Not that mine was legible before, but now it seems difficult to write stuff. ._.

    School is over and since I haven't been notified about anything, I'm assuming everything went well. ^-^
     
    The Gun Threat was indeed an empty threat, as many predicted. I wasn't going to push my luck anyhow, but I'm glad everyone's safe.
     
     
    And with the closing of the school day, that means that Winter Break has officially begun! Joy!
     
     
     
    Also, Progress3.5: I've decided to map instead of insert more sprites. Edited Cerulean a bit, Mt. Moon a bit, added to Four Island but haven't started on the Alamo.

    100% of the Gen 4 Pokemon are complete! Woo! Except for icons, but I'll get to that sometime
     
    Other than that, there really hasn't been too much significant work on the game.
     
    I'm debating on whether to start mapping or finish inserting the Gen 5 stuff. Leaning towards mapping so it looks like I've actually done stuff.
     
     
    I figured some screenshots would prove that I've got stuff done. Granted, it really doesn't show much, but I've got stuff. =P

    There's a gun threat at my school.
     
     
    Scared senseless. It's said to happen on Friday. The staff and board know about it. In fact, they announced that there was no evidence of it whatsoever over the intercom.
     
    But I'm scared.

    I have decided to stay home.
     
    Even though it's likely that the treat is empty, I'd rather not take a chance. Rumor says two different things, but both are potentially dangerous. One, it has to do with a gang of a kid who got arrested recently for fighting, and two, it has to do with someone who knows how our lockdown drills go.
     
    I'm expecting the building to be stuffed with police, probably 10 officers at minimum.
     
     
    But what pushed me over the edge was a pentagram and upsidedown cross smeared onto a locker. I know that I shouldn't be worried over something like that, but with recent events, it offed me.
