    Omegafest Soon

    So yaa I lied. Again. I'm good at that.
     
    Instead of Monday or Thursday, Omegafest will begin on Tuesday, with the iBrow day. After that I'm not entirely sure, but there will be a couple of TBTTRAH days thrown in there to show some of the new stuff I've been working on(and believe me, there's a lot of new stuff).
     
    If you want to secure a day, just post here and say which day. Otherwise I'll assign one to you.

    Metroid: Other M Review

    And....it's over. The latest Metroid is completed by me(save post credit stuff). I don't feel like updating the "diary" thing I had going, cause the end was just such an emotional roller coaster(yes, I'm a loser for getting sucked into a video game like that). Anyways, here's my opinion on the game.
     
    Story: Definitely not lacking in story at all. And that's a problem. Samus' character gets really overused in this story, which comes as a nasty surprise if you haven't read the manga. I won't complain about the authorization stuff(though it's a little mind boggling). The actual story is nearly perfect until about halfway through the game, and then it slowly unravels until it crashes and burns in the end. 7/10. In it's defense, I would honestly recommend ignoring X-Play's review of this if you happen to read it, because it claims the game is somehow sexist, which it isn't. At all.
     
    Gameplay: The gameplay is actually fairly fun, and thankfully for this game, most of what makes a game memorable is it's gameplay, not the story. There's a lot in the game that's overused, such as search view and sense move, and then other stuff that's downright amazing, such as speed booster and screw attack. Changing into 1st person can be annoying, sadly, and it kinda makes you wonder just how much better this game could've been if Nintendo could tear themselves away from "OMG NOSTALGIA" and just put the nunchuk in. Regardless, it's still fun. 8.5/10.
     
    Music: The music was....well....dissapointing, to say the least. Some of the themes, such as Ridley's and the "Escape Sector 0" music was absolutely amazing, and yet at other times it's just pathetic. Of course, it's supposed to "set the mood," but did they really need to make it boring when you listen to it outside of the game for that? 7/10.
     
    Graphics: While it still isn't up to the level of say, the 360, it, like every other Metroid 3D game, looks as good as anything else on the Wii. Only complaint is that they overlooked some parts in sector 2 with some really pixelated stalactites. 9/10.
     
    OVERALL: 8.7/10. Not as great as the Prime series, but playing it is still fun. This is definitely the game that you wish they had included a co-op mode for.
     
    Finished the game just in time for Reach next week. Awesome September is awesome.

    Junior Year Sucks

    Anyways this year has sucked and I still have like 9 months to go.
     
    As Lamp would say..."Yippee!"
     
    Chapters have been up reeeaaalllllyyyyyy slowly because of it. Not liking this amount of homework...reminiscent of the times when Mr. Matoro had the same problem.
     
    On the other hand, it is making the deadline for the Ihr contest going to happen before Ihr dies disappears mysteriously.
     
    So yeah. I'm mad.

    Mr. Matoro: Wonderful. Can we get on with the game?
    Omega Turtle: Be buh patient. Last week, we were buh canceled for some stupid fight that didn't get buh put up until buh Saturday. Buh waste of time. But we are now back buh on. Today we have buh...Mister Matoro, Skrall, Terpo, and Rahkshiking.
    Rahkshiking: Hi.
    Omega Turtle: Terpo wins.
    Skrall: What?
    Omega Turtle: I buh said Terpo wins. The buh end.
    Mr. Matoro: You can't do that.
    Omega Turtle: Buh fine. FIRST BUH DOWN!!!!
    Rahkshiking: Oh boy...first question on a Turtle Crossing. I hope I know it I hope I know it I hope I know it..
    Omega Turtle: Who buh played Vakama in Bionicle: Mask of Light?
    Rahkshiking: Darn.

    Mr. Matoro: Yeah, fall down you-(realizes Omega's falling on him)
    Omega Turtle: BUH!!!!!
    *CRASH!!!!!*
    Mr. Matoro: Ow!
    Omega Turtle: BUHHH!!! MY STOMACH!!!
    Mr. Matoro: OWWW!!!! MY ARM!!!!!
    (Doctors rush in and put Omega and Mr. Matoro on stretchers)
    Omega Turtle: What in the buh name of a buh bleeding stomach are you buh doing?
    Doctor: Taking you to a hospital.
    (Mr. Matoro and Omega are taken away, and the doctors leave)
    (awkward silence)
    Rahkshiking: Oookkk.....now what?
    Terpo: I buh win! I had the most buh points!
    Rahkshiking: Yeah, because you're Omega's best friend!
    Skrall: A three way tie for first?
    Rahkshiking: Sounds good to me.
    Terpo: Yay! I am buh first!
    Skrall: So am I!
    Terpo: (eats the Skrall) Shut the buh up.
    Rahkshiking: Uh...I'm....first and a half...yeah...

    Bzp Dying

    It's really starting to look like BZP is slowly but surely heading downhill in terms of members' activity. I seriously can not remember a time in my BZP career where I saw so little activity from everyone I know.
     
    Wonder how long it's got left. I hope it's a while. I still have a story to finish...

    More info on the unfolding story of Yami's return.
     
    Earlier today, Yami was on his way to sabotage the BZP server, the next step in his plan to take over BZPower. However, not all went as he planned. He was cornered by Akaku and Johnuva, who shapeshifted into Transformers and began attacking Yami. Yami had demolished Johnuva and was ready to take down Akaku when Levacius stepped in, and Akaku, disguised as Rapid Fire, assumed he was here to help. With this extra glimmer of hope, the two Transformers combined and began attacking Yami with a new will. However, Levacius, unsure of who was good and who was bad, attacked the Transformers too and ended up having Venom thrown in his face. (whom he took care of easily)
     
    Yami beat the newly created Long Fire to within an inch of it's life, forcing it to split back into Rapid Fire and Long Haul. Yami dealt the finishing blow to Long Haul, but before he could finish Rapid Fire off, Levacius stepped in and prevented Akaku's death. The fight between the Zehvor member and Yami lasted for what seemed like an eternity, but finally, Yami, with his new power(and his ability to turn un-edible whenever he wanted), triumphed and was nearly able to kill Levacius when the Toa of Lightning's GUARDIAN stepped in, while Levacius made an escape.
     
    Akaku, seeing no other way out alive, turned traitor and allied himself with Yami. The two did a number on the guardian, and finished him off just even quicker than Johnuva. The battle ended with Yami and Rapid Fire heading towards the BZP server...and that was the last that was seen of them today, except that the server was extremely slow from then on.
     
    Meanwhile, however, Sonu staked his claim as the most powerful Zehvor by killing Mummy Mami with some help from Nava, his ice Toa friend.
     
    Also: I am planning a Transformers spoof called: Transformers 2: Revenge of the Ballin'. Expect it in soon in a CoT forum near you.

    Sorry if I gave anyone a heart attack, but it's not what it seems. I'm not ending the TBTTRAH series, I just need to know some things about when it does end. It's in it's 5th season...
     
    First off is: No, it can't last forever. I'll eventually lose all interest in Bionicle and stop writing the comedy altogether and Aftermath will get left with a lame ending or it'll just be unfinished forever. So, main question is, how many more season of TBTTRAH do you want? Any numbers are welcome(just as long as it isn't ridiculous), so..
     
    Second off is: How would you like to see it end? I have some ideas about an ending, but my ideas aren't always the greatest.

    Wow. That was quick.
     
    Apparently more info on "Another Side Story" has been released. That's the good news. The bad news? I can't freaking copy it and paste it on Babelfish to translate, so for the time being I know as much about the game as I did last year...absolutely nothing(except you play as Space Pirates jajaja). Anyways hopeful for the game, as long as Space Pirate's armor doesn't dissolve every time they get upset.
     
    Great job Chozo...giving a suit...that depends on the wearer being emotionally stable...to a woman.

    Here we are, once again, ready for another Final Four week. Two spots open in the Super Battle, and two spots more spots open in the "loser" category(notrly about the last part). Here's a look at the matchups for the 2010 Final Four.
     
    Monday: #2 Mesonak(W) vs. #3 Tahu(E)
    Both are first time Final Fourists. Tahu won his first ever Regional Championship by upsetting rival Brenmac for the 2nd straight year, and then defeating upstart Cash Chicago 3-1 to punch his ticket to the Final Four. Tahu is the first ever real Bionicle character to reach the Final Four. Mesonak meanwhile defeated arch rival Levacius, 3-2, in the Western Final to claim his first spot in the Final Four. Mesonak is slightly favored in this matchup, oddsmakers have installed him as a 1 point favorite.
     
    Wednesday: #1 Assassin(E) vs. #2 Mr. Matoro(N)
    This contestants in this year's Final Four have a combined 2 trips to the Final Four before 2010, and they both belong to Mr. Matoro. The Ko-Matoran reached his 3rd straight Final Four by barely edging #1 Tarakavarbiter in the North final. Mr. Matoro is also the 2008 Super Battle Champion. Assassin was installed as the #1 overall seed coming into this tournament, and he proved the point by knocking off both Sonu and Terpo on his way to the Final Four, but he won't find himself on the favorite side heading into Wednesday: Oddsmakers have Mr. Matoro, who has shown no sign of rust since disappearing earlier this year, as a 2 point favorite.

    Ok, so, blah blah blah, this is the first of several MoCing contests that we're gonna have this summer. Anyways, the contest is to MoC a rather odd Aftermath character...it is the Alpha Helios Turtle.
     
    Alpha Turtles are slightly shorter than Omegas, and I think everyone knows what Omega looks like. The "Helios" part of it is the sun beam it wields(attached to it's shoulders). And the turtles is the...turtle part.
     
    Since it's made with Bionicle's, it's probably gonna look weird. Also I will have the semifinals for the Zehvor Theme song contest up by Monday.

    Metroid: Other M

    During E3: 2009, Nintendo released a new trailer for the upcoming game Metroid: Other M. While the name doesn't exactly sound awesome, the trailer definitely is. Unfortunately, I can't post movies here, but you can find a trailer for it on [site with forums are not to be mentioned. -Shine].
     
    Anyways, the trailer starts with a spaceship floating through space debris. It explodes, and a young Samus Aran witnesses the event. Samus is next seen walking through a tall, dome-shaped building before entering an office, where a man asks "Any objections, lady?", a quote used by Adam Malkovich for all of you who remember Metroid Fusion. The following scenes show gameplay footage of Samus fighting in different environments, as well as battling the reptilian Ridley. An someone in a suit appears next, raising his visor and asking if Samus remembers him. A large creature then emerges which looks very similar to Mother Brain, and Samus charges her cannon to fire at it.
     
    The final scene of the trailer depicts a blonde-haired woman in a laboratory uniform, gazing at Samus through a window. Samus is seen entering the building with the door shutting behind her. Samus comes face-to-face with the woman and murmurs "I am Samus Aran" as the screen goes black.
     
    That's the best description I can find, you'll have to see the trailer itself to see the pure awesomeness. Unfortunately, Retro Studios has disbanded, causing Nintendo to form a new partnership with a group called Team Ninja. I'm not that worried, the game looks awesome, and it is reported to have both 2D and 3D gameplay.
     
    The game is scheduled to be released in 2010 for the Wii.

    We have a new member in the Zehvor now, replacing Gorgnak who is looking like he won't be coming back. Makuta of Comedy will fill the hole. MoC is extremely talented in comic making, writing, and mocing, and holds numerous positions in OTS.
