  1. I love this show! Just started watching it! Sheldon is hilarious! I love all of Howard's outfits! Penny is my favorite character! Love her! Any other fans? EDIT: THE BIG BANG THEORY.If anyone can fix it please do so! :/ Can't believe I did that... HahaRCF

  2. Sad that the Olympics are over! But USA did an AMAZING job this year! My favortie events are the Swimming,Diving and Beach Vollyball! Can't wait till Rio!! <3 Franklin,Ledecky,Soni,Schmidt and Locthe are going to be great in Rio! :) #TeamUSARCF

  3. I agree with your complaints, but I also think that the Hulk should have had the purple shorts.

Yes he should have! He also could have been a bit darker for me!RCF
And, in the constraction figures, Iron Man should have either been dark red and gold, or had the most common comic-book suit if it needed to be bright red.Funnily enough, a few people (including me) complained about the Iron Man minifig's helmet, but it's not that bad in the set itself.
Yeah IMO Iron Man could have been a WAY better colour for me. His face piece bothers me though! :P Just by how it looks and opens.RCF
  4. ^ Haha me too!! @ Surge 2.0. I am a HUGE fan of the books as well as the films. I agree with everything you said! Can't wait till I can get my hands of some of these! :)RCF

  5. Heh, maybe it's silly of me to be making this point on a toy website...Actually, come to think of it, Batman and Kopaka would probably be furious, too, but at least their merchandise isn't actively contradicting and undermining the message of the works they appear in. (Although, The Dark Knight is a borderline example, too, given that it shows the dangers of young people glorifying Batman as a hero). And I guess I can't really say I'm surprised at the existence of the Katniss doll, but I think anyone who sees the film and then wants to buy one should take a looong, hard look at themselves...

Haha yeah, I personally would never buy a doll or action figure made from a moive. I did buy some Hunger Games magazines and a few character books etc. RCF
  6. It's mostly because it undermines the message of the book/film. In the book, we're meant to feel sickened that the people in The Capitol are so extravagant, while Katniss's family barely have enough to eat. It also criticises the very existence of the Hunger Games themselves, and the glorification of a bunch of teenagers being forced to kill each other. The book does not go into much detail about the in-universe marketing of the Hunger Games, but I'm pretty sure Katniss herself would be disgusted to find out someone was selling dolls of her. Then, there's this:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yViAOnVoqjc/T267j4__24I/AAAAAAAADzk/sy3gM2WJfSQ/s1600/hunger+games+nail+polish1.jpgNow, I actually think this is a very clever piece of viral marketing for the film. It's going to get people talking, complaining, laughing, etc, thus promoting discussion and awareness of the film. Thing is, though, this product does actually exist, and yes, they do expect you to buy it. Given how grotesque some of the people in the Capitol are, and how ridiculous their outfits get, are we really supposed to want to wear something that they are wearing, even if it's just nail polish?

I don't doubt that fact that she would be disgusted about it. But don't you think any of the other super heros would be upset?RCF
  7. I recently decided to start reading The Hunger Games, and I had to buy it instead of getting from the library. The reason being that every single copy of the book in every library in my area was either checked out or being held. When I did choose to try and hold one, I ended up as queue number 200-something.So far, it's pretty good.

Hahahaha good choice! Which book are you on now?@Alyska, Why does it suprise you that the HG made dolls? Every other big film(s) has made dolls for the girls and figureine's for the boys.RCF
  8. Mine is either Thor or Captain America! What are your favorite(s)? :) I don't this Hawkeye and Black Widow are really "Marvel" characters but they are freaking amazing! Hawkeye and his bow and pretty EPIC!RCF

Hawkeye and Black Widow are actual Marvel heroes. Just because they aren't flashy doesn't mean they are not.*Starts muttering about how Hawkeye is lacking his distinct purple uniform.*But favourite Marvel character in general?Squirrel Girl of course. Who doesn't love a teenage girl whose power level is more comparable to DC Heroes than Marvel ones?
Ohhh ok! Yeah Hawkeye was missing all the purple but he was legit in Avengers! I thought Jeremy Renner did an AMAZING job of playing him! Scarlett Johansson did a really nice job too.RCF
  9. I just bought a 6 month premier membership and I was looking at my e-mails and it said that my billing cycle was for every 6 months. I just want to only pay for one 6 month memberhip not 2 or 3 etc. Can anyone help? Thanks guys.RCF

  10. What do you guys think about the Super Hero sets and mini figs? I really like all of the Avengers sets. I like most of the mini figs. I really wish Thor's hair was a darker color and that Black Widow has red hair, not blonde. But overall all the sets are amazing! What do y'all think?RCF

  11. I just saw The Avengers yesterday with my mom. It was FREAKING AMAZING!!!! Way better then I thought it was going to be! I loved everyone in the movie! The one's that really stood out and were my favorites were, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff). The movie was great! I plan on seeing it again and buying it once it comes out on DVD! (:RCF

  12. Yeah, it was a little strange about how people thought it wasn't "violent enough". That, to me, only serves to further the point; that the violence shown in the movie actually doesn't reach the threshold of what a lot of us would consider "violent" means that we have already been desensitized to it.

The books were even more violent then the movie! I don't understand people sometimes! :PRCF
  13. So it would seem that we are still on the violence topic! :P Yes granted the movies and books are pretty violent I think that the public is going a little overbored on the whole issue! I mean c'mon guys yes there is violence in the books and movie but we just need to calm down lol. We seem to be attacking books with good and moral character. That is just my opinion. RCF
